Question team...Please are sponsor's SOA verified at the bank when you submit your application online? If yes, how do they go about it?

Honestly, I can't say for sure, but what I can say is that, the bank statement comes with a stamp n seal/watermark from the bank, that alone should be enuf verification.
No shaking, a candle looses nothing from lighting another candle.

Medical instructions 23rd sept
Medicals done on d 25th sept
Passport submission requested on d 1st oct
Submitted my passport on d 9th n got it some mins later with the trv!
My people, na God! Online route too sure!
It gives u direct contact with cic unlike using a third party n getting third hand Info.
Ur SOP is more important than ur SOA. It should be related to ur course of study.
Be convincing enuf thats all! my sponsor's account had only 3.2m
Ps: getting a trv is just half of the battle, so I'm getting to realise, all d same, we thank God.

Good morning, I was asked to upload the confirmation the same day i got my medical instructions.
I think the hospital uploaded their own copy sha, d results wud be sent in a weeks time.
I'm simply holding on to my own copy of confirmation till I get further instructions from CIC.
I don’t think sending it to the embassy is correct because everything an online applicant does is via online n tru ur cic account.

@Greatheights have u done ur medicals? If yes, have u submitted the proof of medical status back to CIC and hw did u go abt it?
I got my medical instructions on 23rd sept, replied dat I won't be able to submit my proof of medicals till the 25th sept due to booking Dr's appointment because dey gave me 24hours 2 upload it on CIC. Finally did my medicals on 25th sept. Now, how and when do I get to submit my proof of medical form?

I paid mine with a firstbank mastercard, I tried using uba, gtb and even fidelfity bank. Just keep trying cards, one go surely work.

As for the documents, I combined a letter from my sponsor (father) to the bank statement. The rest are simply straight forward.

For tha passport photo, make sure to specification (see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs.asp) to be on d safe side, go to a photo studio for editing or if u r good with photoshop u can do it on ur own.
As for other documents, I found this site very helpful https://smallpdf.com/ it reduces n combines pdf files without watermarks. Hope this helps.

Meanwhile, I got my medical instructions today.
Submitted sept 6 via online.
Replied them that I would go for my medical exams on wednesday for the fact I have to book a Dr's appoitment.
Go along with a photocopy of ur passport, 4 recent passport photos, the IMM7101_1 form that comes along with the instruction n a maximum of 30k.
Ps: no heavy drinking or smoking this period oh, e fit cast!
I would strongly advice pple to use the online route. Its simple n faster.

They didn't ask for your waec result. Dont upload it. Only upload what you have been asked for not what everybody is sending. The questionnaire had already tailored and personalised the application to the requirements they need from you and you alone. If they don't ask for a document then they don't need it.

PLEASE ONLINE APPLICANTS. ONLY UPLOAD WHAT THEY ASK YOU FOR. Dnt try to upload what isn't requested from you before you complicate the matter for your self.

I have to be honest with u, fear catch me when I see the online procedure too. Same things u mentioned, as for SOP, u can fill it in letter of explanation. Then for the rest *nysc cert + waec* u can scan both of them n paste them in a word doc, title each document accordingly, den save it in a pdf format. Upload it all at once but make sure its not more than 4mb. This is what I plan on doing, any other suggestions pls?

smile13: Police clearance at Alagbon in Lagos should be about 3k & 5k max and the medical examination at The Consultants' Practice @ Ikoyi as at July was 28k.

Hello house, I'm glad to see the number of pple using online route increase. I too am using it.
I believe it should be a quicker approach espcially for Jan intake. Just make u settle down n read the instructions before submitting.

clow: Please I need advise on an issue,like I said b4 my dad is late,but my uncle in US who is a citizen,is my sponsor,cos my dad is late.he actually has sent his docs,nd I wud b applying on thurday but on the issue of a home tie I intend using my mum and siblings and including my dads 2 landed properties,but the Issue now is that I do not knw where his C of O is,but I do have the receipt of 1 of his lands and the land survey of both land in my dads name,do u guyz think I should include it in my application as a home tie or shudnt boda since I don't have his C of O.

This one get as e be but, I think including the receipt won't be a bad idea unless u have access to more ties in Nigeria, if not its ok to include it.
