THE BROKEN TAPE It was, No. It seems to be the happiest of her days A smile on her face adores The silk like the rainbow looked The gentle Joe in his house confined. It came from no where It refused to stop Blood on the ground flowed Jessica! Jessica! Joe called out A month has gone by She, on a tyred chair seated Staring into the cloudless sky To find meaning air that flowed The illumination of happiness gone The feeling of companionship vaporized Left he did. The aura he hated The only love received now comes from Mother She cried and cried... He whom she had loved with her ALL She cringed to her mother's breast The handkerchief on her face wiped. The morning sun was so good The body was so cold, so cold for a living being Mother cried and cried Jessica! Jessica! She moaned. "Mom I'm sorry" on the note written Very bereaved she became. The life in her gone soon. Mom did not read what in the back of the note written Joe read it. Joe burnt it. And to this day no one knows what was written there Joe's life has been..... Since the day he read it. |

Education / What's The Meaning Of And When To Use The Word 'Pe Se'. important please by speeder(m): 9:24am On Oct 18, 2015 |
I've read through many books and the word(s) 'pe se' has been recurrent. I quite know it might not be an English word like etc, i.e. But when u meet this word in a sentence, the meaning is understandable. I'm posting this because I got into an argument with my friend and he refuted it by saying it's 'per se'. I feel angered because he's not a reader. He went as far as convincing some that that's the way it should be. Me, a reader. I've read Italian, English etc novels and various articles and what I see there is 'pe se' Now if u check Google, you'll most likely see 'per se'. But the meaning it's giving is quite different from what it should be. Only one site was able to answer it partially, but it added an 'a' to it, 'pe se a'. And in the site it's etymology is Spanish. Nairalanders, please give me a face. I can't let him confuse them when actually he's wrong. Please help me out. After the church service he's coming on board to discuss the matter. Help me out. Front page will be nice. |

WO! Difficult to interpret. I could possibly say Nyako killed them after threatening them not to witness in court. I could also say APC killed them to make it seem Nyako did it. I can't believe anything again |

I will not lie to you anymore. I hate Islam and Muslims. I hate them very much. I swear to to God if u could measure how I hate these people, you'll... See I just hate them very much. Why should it be only Muslims always, every time that will be disturbing the peace of the world and Nigeria in particular. What pains me, it pains me to death is that after killing, they'll start to state how peaceful their religion is of peace. Any Muslim anywhere, I hate you. I hate everything about you. I hate ur father and I hate ur mother. Many of those who have actually switched religion have come up with no reason to join. They just do it maybe cos either of their parents are of the religion. Or out of financial gain. If u are my mother or father and u chose to join Islam, know that I hate you. I just wish that you guys will have ur own country. The Christians are the once who still give u a good face outside Nigeria. I hate everything you people stand for. Some Muslims are good though. Islam will never get better until you guys accept that part of the Quran is bad. |

Politics / We'll Stop Use Of Electronic Card Readers For Elections — PDP by speeder(m): 6:05pm On Mar 05, 2015 |
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation and some political Parties have rejected the use of card readers during the forthcoming general elections, that had been shifted to March 28 and April 11. In an interview with media in Abuja on Wednesday, the spokesman for the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, said the ruling party would resist moves to go ahead with the use of card readers during the elections. At a separate news conference, representatives of some political Parties also expressed their opposition to the use of card readers for the elections as they said it had not been tested and as such could not be trusted. According to the group, the use of card readers is a ploy to disenfranchise citizens in the coming elections. Mr Fani-Kayode said that the position of the PDP on the issue was not different, stressing that the ruling party would resist the use of card readers during the elections. “Our position remains that the machine has not been tested in any election and there are basis for joining concerns over the use of the for the first time in a crucial election of this magnitude. “We are aware of plots by the APC to use the card readers to frustrate accreditation in some part of the country while not enforcing strict use of the machine in other parts,” he said. At first, it was the representatives of 15 political parties that threatened to boycott the elections and take legal action if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) insisted on the use of card readers during the elections. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) had earlier opposed a suit challenging the decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the use of the electronic Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) in the general elections. The suit was filed by the Society for Advancement and Protection of Public Rights (SAPPR) and it came up for mention at the Federal High Court in Abuja, on Monday. It is challenging the power of the INEC to use of the electronic voting system without legislation by the National Assembly. But the PDP now kicks against the use of the card reader. The INEC, through the National Director in charge of Information and Voter Education, Dr Chris Iyimoga, noted that the commission would conduct a field testing of the card readers, which would be deployed for the accreditation of voters in the forthcoming general elections to reduce electoral frauds. The Commission, which said it had satisfactorily tested the card readers before the re-scheduling of the elections, had set aside March 7, to rigorously test the card readers technology in two states of each geo-political zone, to ensure its mastery before the elections. source: www.skytrendnews.com/index.php/news/cover/7162-we-ll-stop-use-of-electronic-card-readers-for-elections-pdp

Sports / What Do You Think About Us Being The Last To Win The Mandela's Cup? by speeder(m): 10:35am On Dec 06, 2013 |
Yea, we won it. It wasn't a draw. It wasn't 1 to nil. Yea, it was 2 to nil. Two goals from Uche Nwofo... his first goal was an audacious back-heel and the other was a simple tap in after clever work from Victor Moses and our Ahmed Musa.. We we're stronger in all aspects of the game. But little did we know it was the last mandela will witness. Well, we've made another History but didn't break a record. So what do you think about the topic? |
