My reason for the above rant is that on this forum, we have been advice several times to put a SIM Lock password on your sim card especially the one you use for your banking and other sensitive transactions. The reason is that if your phone is stolen and your sim removed and placed in another phone to acess your ussd banking, it will be useless. Had you done that, despite your phone being lost you wount have lost your money.
Anyway sorry. Good you made a police report protecting yourself from any fallout. Quickly recover your line.

Hello wise people. I’m caught in a dilemma. I just graduated a couple of months ago. I’m waiting to be deployed for NYSC in November, 2021.
In the meantime, I applied for a masters program in the UK and got admitted; the start date is January, 2022. Now I have to decide wether to abandon NYSC and pursue this opportunity abroad or forfeit this abroad opportunity for NYSC at home. It is my intention to remain in the UK and search for job after my studies.
If you were in my shoes, what would you do? I’d need the insight of wise men and women please.

I would suggest you remain in your former work if you know you don't plan to spend the rest of your life on any of the job. But if you plan to staying in a firm till God knows when then i would suggest you accept the new offer being a permanent role

However, you can try get accommodation close by the new job to cut cost of transportation and whataview
