So I developed passion for teaching during my NYSC. After service I couldn't get regular jobs because of the distance from my place of residence to city so I resolve to apply for teaching.
Since I started teaching in private school I have been exploited, over used, underpaid, and so many ills. I have made up my mind to quit because there are lots of frustrated people running the schools. I'm planning to quit by end of this second term. I applied for PGDE in education in one of the federal University but I feel it ain't worth it anymore, i will jus go for the program just to enhance my certificate.
I plan to run online course and certification to improve my employability and I currently learning some skills as well

Pls, I need answer to this thing puzzling me. I have an half breed Caucasian that is very very active, to everyone surprise thieves broke into my house when there was no one at home, the security man outside claimed the dog did not bark at all and when we returned to the house the dog was still very active. There was no sign that the dog was wounded. What are the likely scenario that can account for it not attacking the intruder. Can the dog be distracted? because the thieves broke in through the back window after scaling the fence. Thanks

I taught of that, i live in ogun state but I was considering moving to Lagos but for accommodation issues.
I wanted to apply for schools that will offer accommodation far from my place but I found none.

Fun to be with, you have lots of intellectual conversations. Get used to their moody times n give them space. They are very dedicated. Pls try not to bug them cos when the are unhappy, they lock up.

Many people are introvert cos they are they low self esteem and not comfortable where they are. If they can get hold of the situation to raise their esteem, they exhibit features far more lively than some “so called extrovert”

Everything she does to you, do it right back to her and let her know that you're only doing it because she did the same thing to you without considering how you would feel.

They hate it when we act like that, will even call you immature/childish, but don't pay any attention to it.
It's simply their way of trying to emotionally blackmail you into stopping.

Hello nairalanders. I've been seeing this guy for about a year now. I'm 22 and he's 38 and doing very well. For this 1 year I've been with him, I've been getting some redflags which I'm not happy with. Now during Christmas and new year, he didn't even give me a dime and I didn't ask either. Yesterday was my birthday and I reminded him on Wednesday and he didn't even call me on my birthday. It really broke my heart. This man is very wealthy and he's behaving like this towards me, I don't what to think anymore. Guys, how do you see this?

I was there some minutes to 9 am. It took them two hours before they even attend to me. The written interview English and maths were like waec exam that lasted for 90minutes. Then we proceed to micro teaching, were they brought all their teachers to be my students. The annoying part of it is when it gets to salary negotiation, I told them I will manage 100k for a start since they told me to take 3 subjects. The principal told me he has been in the school close to 30 yrs that he is not receiving such amount.
At the end, I told them I will take 50k last while they insist on 30k. Though they said they will get back to me but I don't think I will even go back there if they eventually call me. Nigerian graduates are suffering in the hand of private school owners.
