Family / Re: I Feel I'm Damaging Myself As My Wife Has Left Again by spice123(m): 2:45pm On Oct 23, 2022
Djbond:
I'll summarize this as possible.

No one is perfect, yes I hit her cuz I was suspicious of her cheating. I bought her an Android phone and she started chatting with guys on FB and WhatsApp, talking about location on how to meet. I'm not always around though, I come home once in 2 days and I provide everything enough for she and our 3 daughters need to sustain on a daily. She doesn't work, our first daughter is 4, and our twins girls are 2 years old. So I believe she doesn't need to stress herself but just to take care of the kids.

Fast forward, she left a day after I beat her (I know it's not right but I couldn't hold the anger anymore) and i already apologized afterwards not knowing she had in mind to leave. I came home and couldn't find her and the kids, I called and started begging, my landlady, my friends, all our neighbors in the street called and begged her, she just kept lying that she will come back today, come back tomorrow but we never see her. I cried and cried, almost killed myself, didn't eat for days, just drinking and smoking, got admitted to the hospital, my neighbor called my wife that I'm in the hospital, she didn't care, never came to check on me.

I called her few days after I got discharged that I miss her and asked her why she didn't come to check on me at the hospital. She only gave an excuse that she has started some pos work in their street. She lives in her father's house now with her stepmom. Her junior brothers are the ones taking care of the children. Her junior sister told me all the dirty things she has been doing since she has got back to their house, like going to sleep in a guy's house overnight when her dad is on night shift. I called her dad to explain, but didn't give me the chance to explain. I called her last week Saturday to come see me, and i collected the phone she's using to do runs up and down from her. Now she uses her sister's phone to do those things now.

She called me with her sister's phone on Monday that i should move on when she discovered that I already know all the things she's doing. I have a problem moving on, I always think about her and my children.
I don't have appetite to eat even as I type this, I'm drinking royal circle. I hope this won't lead to my demise as I'm killing myself slowly. I love her. Why are women like this?

Pls nairalanders don't judge me or abuse me for hitting her. No one is perfect and there's no man that will take it if he sees his woman with another man

NB: I regretted hitting her and already apologiized and prayed to God for forgiveness
Instead of you to man up and visit your wife's family you're here feeling proud. I don't know your tribe but if it's in Igbo culture, getting your wife let alone your girls back you will spend real money plus the stress involved.
If you go to court for custody, that's even the worse of it all. Remember it's going to be a customary court. Your wife will bring human rights on you and then you're finished.
Once again, man up and visit your wife's family and apologize. If you claim to provide enough for your wife she won't be looking outside.
Proud Op, I hate nonsense.

So I believe she doesn't need to stress herself but just to take care of the kids.
From the bolded, I can sense that you're a proud man. You think taking care of 3 children is easy? Take a day off from work be with just the girls the whole day. Bath them, cook and feed them, wash their clothes, watch them play and cry around the whole day.

This is the best advice, but don't you think for the husband to be, to move to Abuja na one wahala? because living in Abuja no be easy, life very expensive, from shelter, food, utilities e.t.c
Lagos is also expensive. It all depends on the location. Same applies to Abuja.
Not taking a risk is a risk on its own.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Wedding Preparations Without A Job!! by spice123(m): 5:15am On Aug 25, 2022
Let me give you a candid advice as a married man:
1. Maintain your teaching job. You are a mother with two lovely kids. Don't let those children suffer for your careless mistake.

2. Talk to him to move to Abuja with you. You are already settled with a job and stable so he too needs to support you by joining you to start looking for job opportunities at Abuja.

3. If he insists in staying in his comfort zone (Zaria) without making effort to get a job, please leave him and go back to Abuja and continue your job.

4. A man cannot be talking of marriage when he does not have a stable income. I was a teacher earning 30k in the east when I met my wife in Lagos. My wife was earning twice my salary. I had move down to Lagos because we wanted to get married. We postponed our wedding by 3 months until I got another job that was paying 45k. That was 8 years ago. No matter how little the salary is, let your man have something doing.

My one piece advice.

SaiOba:
I’ve come to terms with my observations about supporters of the presidential flag bearers of APC,PDP and LP.

The supporters of APC/Tinubu are mostly those that rely on government patronage, the existing corrupt system, brief-case/portfolio contractors and businessmen who have no viable means of livelihood or ability to create wealth outside of government. They depend solely on government to live.

The supporters of PDP/Atiku are mainly those who did not benefit from APC’s maladminstration, with hope that Atiku’s presidency will somehow allow them make money from the treasury, they are so used to free money from their days in government that the last 7 years have so impoverished them and they can’t wait to take over.
They have almost same Idiology as the APC except that one is in power and the other can’t wait to replace the one in power. Nothing dissimilar.

As for LP/Obidients, the supporters are mostly self- reliant people, whose only dream is to have a working government. They believe Nigeria has great and enormous potentials and can work again. They want a new beginning for Nigeria; a change from the endemic corruption that has been the bane of Nigeria’s development. They want a RESET. They want Nigeria to be productive by industrialization. They want a shift from consumption to production. They want to get the ports working efficiently and effectively. They want to tackle insecurity by creating jobs through industrializing the economy. They want every child of school age to be in school because they understand that an educated populace Is a productive populace.

May God help us choose wisely

Vote Wisely!

Politics / Re: Tinubu, Atiku & Peter Obi by spice123(m): 6:18pm On Aug 17, 2022
homosapien:
*TINUBU, ATIKU & PETER OBI*
-----------------------------------------------

I agree we should make 2023 campaign issues based.

I also agree we do not need to compare Lagos with Adamawa or Anambra State and the role of the three presidential contestants in the development of their individual States.

1. *Lagos, for instance, is not competing with any State in Nigeria. Rather, Lagos is competing with all 54 countries in Africa, where this State in Nigeria is currently sitting as 5th largest economy in Africa; having surpassed all West-African national economies including those of Ghana, Senegal, Cote-D'Ivoire, amongst others by far, and still growing consistently to become either third or fourth by the end of this decade. This is courtesy of a development plan created for the State and directly and indirectly being managed by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.*

2. *I equally agree we should not compare Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu with Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar, because there is no basis for comparison between them. Tinubu graduated top of his class, with First-Class Degree in Business Administration & Finance, with majors in Accounting, from the prestigious Chicago State University in USA. So, you can compare him with a man that has an Unclassified Degree in Philosophy and another man with an Ordinary Diploma in Hygiene.*

3. *There is no basis for comparison between Atiku or Peter Obi and Tinubu, who worked in the best financial consultancy multinationals in the whole world, including Deloitte, Arthur Anderson, Haskins & Sells and GTE, where he was involved in auditing & setting up fraud proof accounting templates for more than 200 giant corporations worldwide. Neither Atiku nor Peter Obi has that kind of professional experience of international acclaim.*

4. *Yes, there is no basis for comparison of Atiku or Peter Obi with Tinubu, who worked in the biggest oil company in the world - Mobil, where he carried out a forensic and surgical audit of the finances & accounts of the oil giant, which indicted top executives of the oil giant, including the expatriate Managing Director and led to his sack and consequent appointment of Tinubu as Treasurer of Mobil, to implement sweeping changes in the company's finance & accounts and audit departments. It is noteworthy that the Board of the oil giant made it clear they could not find anyone more qualified or with necessary courage and competence to implement Tinubu's recommendations. So, Asiwaju is not a man to compare with Obi or Atiku, because neither the PDP candidate nor the Labour Party standard-bearer ever had such recognition in their respective places of work.*

5. *You can't compare Atiku or Peter Obi with Tinubu, who created a template to turn a State he met with 600 million naira monthly internally generated revenue to one with over 55 billion naira monthly IGR and the 5th largest economy in Africa, with fast improving infrastructure. Neither Atiku nor Peter Obi has such administrative wizardry.*

6. *The legacies of Asiwaju administration's reforms in Lagos State's Civil Service, judiciary, local government system and administration, policing and security system in Lagos State, revenue generation, transportation system, infrastructure renewal and revolution, as well as job creation were quite phenomenal and enduring till today. Would Tinubu's traducers or adversaries say they do not know that he created LAMATA, LASEMA, LASTMA, LAWMA, LASAA, LASAMBUS, LASRRA, BRT & LAGBUS, Lagos State Water-ways Authority (LASWA), KAI BRIGADE, Neighbourhood police, Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency and 37 additional Local Council Development Authorities and many more, where several thousands of people work and earn income with which they take care of their dependants.*

*Can Atiku or Peter Obi boast of this kind of achievements. How about the envious Bode George, who has made himself Tinubu's worst and unprovoked enemy? Bode George was once a governor of old Ondo State, credited to him by those organisations? Did he not demonstrate it in his administration of Lagos State? Has he also not exhibited it in politics, party formation, leadership and electoral achievements? Would anybody with honesty compare either Atiku or Peter Obi with Tinubu on any of these bases?

*Is it not known that it was the ingenuity of Tinubu's administration that brought about the phenomenal wonder we now see on the Atlantic Ocean in Lagos, which is known as Eko Atlantic City? Or, is it not known to Bode George and people like him who are chasing Asiwaju's shadow that it was Tinubu's administration that created the master-plan for the development of Lagos Free Zone in Lekki, where the world's biggest refinery (Dangote Petro-Chemical Refinery), a giant gas plant and fertilizer company, manufacturing organisations, an automobile assembly plant and other industrial establishments are being built and Nigeria's deep sea-port and biggest airport are to be, when completed?*

8. *Lastly, Tinubu has explained how he was paid and legitimately made millions of dollars as official income, as a wonder-kid and accounting and auditing wizard working for world-renowned consultancy firms and oil companies in United States of America, Saudi-Arabia and United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria to work with Mobil. None of Deloitte, Arthur Andersen, GTE, Haskins & Sell or Mobil has debunked Bola Tinubu's claims about his official earnings and privileged positions he held while working with them in the 80s, despite his interview and claims that have gone viral. He was barely thirty years old, when he had made about three million dollars, officially, in the early eighties. Working for Deloitte in the beginning of the eighties, he said he was paid an $850,000 bonus (almost one million dollars) at the end of certain official travels to Saudi-Arabia for auditing of some oil companies, in addition to untouched salaries paid into his bank account and which had accumulated to over $1.8 million (One-point-eight million dollars). When you add the bonus to the untouched salaries, he earned a total of about $2.7 million (Two-point-seven million dollars) legitimately or officially from Deloitte, at barely 30 years old! That was before he moved on to better paying jobs and ended at Exxon Mobil in London, UK and, later, Nigeria. So, why would he not be very rich; considering that he had millions of dollars to invest, about forty years ago, and knowing his exceptional abilities.*

*Now, Bode George and his co-travellers have heard very well about this. They must have read about it. They might even have interrogated these claims and discovered realities that are contrary to their unfounded and unkind allegations that Tinubu made his money or wealth after he became governor of Lagos State. But has Deloitte or any of the internationally renowned accounting and audit firms or oil companies he has worked for denied his claims? Haven't they been defending him that he had no blemish in his records with them? Has Chicago State University and Mobil not been defending him ceaselessly about his age and education credentials? These are reputable multi-national organisations, not Nigerian companies.*

*If Bola Tinubu were not highly educated, would he have been able to work in such highly reputable world-class organisations? Would he have been able to make the incredible achievements credited to him by those organisations? Did he not demonstrate it in his administration of Lagos State? Has he also not exhibited it in politics, party formation, leadership and electoral achievements? Would anybody with honesty compare either Atiku or Peter Obi with Tinubu on any of these bases? Except for insincerity, dishonesty, envy and mischief, nobody in his or her right senses would consider Atiku or Peter Obi as a match for Tinubu. Asiwaju is far more experienced than the two of them put together.*

1. None of the two can match him in international work experience.

2. None of Atiku and Peter Obi has legislative experience.

3. None of Atiku and Peter Obi has been able to lead the formation of a political party and nurture it to success like Asiwaju has done with AC, ACN and APC.

Tinubu has been a very consistent politician, who cannot be compared to Atiku and Peter Obi, who are desperate and politically unstable and constantly changing their party addresses.

ATIKU: From PDP to ACN to PDP to APC to PDP

PETER OBI: From PDP to APGA to PDP to Labour Party.

5. None of Atiku and Peter Obi has demonstrated generosity and compassion for the downtrodden as much as Tinubu.

6. None of the PDP and Labour Party candidates or any other presidential contestant has raised leaders or prosperous individuals as much as Tinubu.

*In conclusion, Tinubu is a phenomenon, whose abilities are not comprehensible to his opponents and adversaries like Bode George and co. He is not in any way comparable to Atiku or Peter Obi in political sagacity, international connections, administrative acumen and organisational skills, creativity, private sector influence, generousity and human compassion, as well as management of human and material resources.*
Good day
That being said, this image says it all...
Even Tinubu is humbly OBIdient.

Family / Re: Should He Move In With His Wife? by spice123(m): 7:39am On Jul 28, 2022
Axis313:
As it happened in my neighborhood,a family friend. This man has a family his wife and children,he and his wife had a well paying job,and the husband is taking a very good care of the family,a very good husband and a caring father, but along the line he lost his job.
Now,all the responsibilities fell on the laps of the wife, feeding, house rent, children school fees and others.
A little time after the husband lost his job,the wife's attitude change dramatically towards the husband, but the man keep enduring everything, including all the insult and abusive words being hurl at him by the wife. Please note that the man didn't sit idly,he is trying his best to secure a job but all to no avail, but he is doing some odd jobs,so as not to be staying at home all the time and not to be asking everything from his wife.
Now,after nearly two years after the husband lost his job,the woman told the husband that she has already bought land and built house on it,the house is near completion and very soon she would like the family to move out of the rented apartment to her house.
The man is in a dilemma, especially whenever he remember all the humiliation and insults from the wife.Meanwhile, before he lost his job, both him and the wife were developing their own site, and he is the major contributor to the development of the site, but along the line, loss of job happened.
The man is seeking my opinion, but I don't know what to tell him other than to ask his wife for him to be in charge of the land's documents.
How will you advice the man,or if you are in this situation, what will you do?

Lalasticlala, what will you advice the man to do.
Whoever has the land documents, already has the house. That is how it works and that's the law. I know of a similar situation where the man bought the land in his name but later on the wife was the one who built the house. Court verdict ruled it straight on to the man. So Op, verify from the man who's name is on the landed property.

Family / Re: My Wife Wants Kids But Does Not Want Sex. by spice123(m): 3:34pm On Jul 08, 2022
LoveUdie:
We've been married for two years and have no child. I’m not surprised that we haven’t been able to have a child but what I’m surprised about is my wife’s attitude towards the fact that we don’t have a child.
Yesterday she called me impotent. Some days ago she called me sterile. I warned her, “The next time you call me any other name apart from my name, I will walk out of this mess you call marriage.”

Let me take you back to when we were dating. This girl was very strict when it came to sex. She was the one making the rules. “This month no sex, I don’t want you to be enjoying it every day. We are not married yet.” I won’t fight her about it and she would go ahead and do exactly what she said she would do. Another time she will tell me, “I called you and you didn’t answer. No sex for three weeks.
I didn’t allow those things to bother me. She was a good person. I would have been very wrong to just look at her from that angle and conclude that she wasn’t a wife material. We stayed together for two years before we finally decided to marry.

After marriage, she didn’t stop throwing those rules around. Every new day came with different rules and all of her rules had to do with sex. As I’m writing this, we haven’t had sex for the past three months. What is her reason? She had severe cramps during her menses and according to her, she has never had crumps all her life. She told me, “I spoke to a doctor friend of mine and she said my cramps were due to sex and that if your husband’s joystick is big, it can result in cramps.” I knew she was lying.
I knew she was just looking for another excuse not to have sex. I’m used to that antics so it didn’t bother me.
We are married but we have sex only when she wants and since she doesn’t want sex often, we can go for several weeks without sex. And the annoying part is, she doesn’t want any other style apart from missionary. So, when her goodness comes and she finally opens the way for me to do it, she will tell me, “Just get on with it and leave me alone.

If I kiss her, bue! If I don’t kiss her, bue! “Don’t touch me here. Why are you going side by side, can’t you go straight? Hey…hey…hey, don’t touch my breast, it’s paining me. You’re keeping long, what medicine did you drink?”
She’ll nag throughout the action. Sometimes I don’t even cum. I’ll just get off her and have my peace of mind. It’s been like this for the past two years since we got married. I’m not complaining. Recently, she brought up the topic of childbirth and I told her, “Do you know how many times people have sex before a child can result?

You are here giving me rules and yet want to have a child?” She said, “Alice got married four months ago and she’s pregnant. How many times did they do it? We’ve been doing it for two years and nothing has happened. Go and look for medicine before I give up on you.”
Every marriage has some troubles. She’s my trouble, I understand. What I don’t understand is her attitude towards the problems she herself has caused. I was there one day when she told me, “I spoke to my doctor friend. She said we’ve been having sex unnecessarily that’s why the pregnancy is not coming so we should have sex only when I’m ovulating. From now onwards, you won’t waste your sperms on me. Store them. Grow them. Make them potent so that when you hit one, a child will come. You hear?”

Brothers and sisters, how many times do women ovulate in a month? At least once, right? So why haven’t we had sex for three months? I want an answer so I went to her, “You mean you haven’t ovulated for the past three months?” She said, “I’m tracking it with an app. So far, the app hasn’t said that I’m ovulating.” Eiii! So now it’s an app that’s going to determine when to have sex and when not to?
Dear people of God, that’s my wife for you. No husband will sit and stare while things go wrong in his marriage so I reported the issue to her parents. They called her home and talked to her extensively. Her father called to tell me, “We’ve spoken sense to her. The way I’ve bashed her, I don’t think she’ll come home and do that again.” The day she got home she said, “Shame on you. You ran to my parents and reported me to them? Are you a kid? All because of sex? I thought you are a man. A true man doesn’t need plenty of sex before pregnancy. They hit one, bam! and the child is there.

You want it every day. I can’t.”
Three months. Maybe it sounds very short so let me calculate it into days. I haven’t had sex for over ninety days! I’ve received three salaries without sex, yet she accuses me of not being potent because we haven’t had a child. I’ve reported it to her parents twice and each time, they talk to her. The last time her father told me, “If I have to come and supervise it, I will come there myself. What kind of silly attitude is that?” Even her father is angry on my behalf. At this point, I will be right to take any drastic decision that I want. One day, I will pack her things and send her to her parents. Before she comes back to the marriage, she will sign a bond of good behavior and sign to have sex four times in a week before I will take her back.
A wife doesn’t live her life just to traumatize her husband’s life. Or I should send her packing right away?
Both of you need to see a sex therapist. Organnise one and then trick her that you want to take her out for a nice time together. BTW How are you sure your wife is not circumcised or have low libido?
