Fast forward chicks are doing good and great, I was now able to raise 1dozen &10 chickens (Local though ) unfortunately, an unknown disease is ravaging my flock of fowls it's started last month unfortunately it claims a life of one of the younger chicks

No need for a long story, I got married 2 yrs ago, during our friendship I mean courtship it was very sweet and lovely, we got married 2 yrs ago and I have 1 kid,the problem i have is that, the girl family come to greet almost every time and when they come they eat like elephant, anything eatable they eat it, they don't use eye to see bread tea or butter in my room, they will finish it within a day, I will end up spending a lot during the time, when i noticed that it becomes offen i started telling my wife that I am broke, I don't have money, although my wife is very nice she earn salary of 40k a month, and do funds and cook many times with her money, before now I was it okay, we are like a family, now i just realized that it making me not think straight within a week oil and cooking things we bought will just finished the cartoon of indomitable that last the 2 of us before 1 month or month plus will just finish within 4 days of thier stay, some time 3 of her family will come once and another set will come again, my wife is the first daughter, the poor parents gave birth to 9 kids all in the name of looking for a boy, so she said although the 2 boys is number 7 and 9 position, her parents should be around man 60s and the woman 45yrs old. so now I am tired of the marriage, I don't know how to talk to my wife about it, that I don't like how thier family do come offend since we got married, my families has never come to sleep over in my place for a night talkless of spending holiday in my place my parents gave birth to only 3 of us 2 boys 1 girl.
Now i am just tired I can't be responsible for someone else burden why give birth to many kids and unable to train them, i plan to have only 2 or 3 kids only, and her family want to make me be like thier father sitting at home doing nothing depending on pension for survival, i have realized that I can't achieve what i should have achieved if i continue life this way,
before our marriage we agreed no family members is coming to stay with us , the issue now is they don't stay but come to eat and go, it a big cheating to me I am tired for real, even if I say I don't have money and she use her own. The money should have be able to do other important thing . She spending is also affecting me a lot, we should have a be able to buy land or car or live well, not feeding battalion. I am tired please I need advice on what to do

I had similar experience in my marriage and I will advice you on the solution. It is left for you to take it or leave it.
1. Map out a stipulated amount every month depending on what you earn. Say 5k for support. It may not be regular. Discuss with your wife about this so they stop coming over.
2. If number one does not work as was my case, change your accomodations to a far location. By the time they transport themselves, twice or thrice in a month visiting, they will know how far and rely on option 1.

Please my fellow nairalanders I moved in a new Place around March this year , it's Bungalow with 2 Flats . I'm staying in one while a married man with 4 kids that happens be the Caretaker , he's also a Builder infact from my understanding he handled the projects of the House he's staying in the other flat. My Landlord is a young Man he's from the community and owns Poultry farm in the compound . He always come around to check on the Birds. Now to the main story in my Parlour there's a visitor Toilet that's not completed the tiling & paint aspect so I have to drop my spare key to the Caretaker because I don't stay around unless in the evening , I'm a business guy. So after like some weeks The toilet was not completed I was not happy even The Wc seater that was meant to be fixed in my toilet The caretaker collected it and fix it in his own apartment . I was not happy with the situation but I pretend . Because the landlord and caretaker are very close friends because The Block , plastering , plumbing , tiling , door fixing , painting etc the Caretaker handle it . Both of them got outstanding . Because I paid upfront before the house was finished.
Initially my landlord supposed to stay in the other flat but because of the huge amount he's owing the caretaker he left the flat for him to stay there so that they can do plus and minus as time goes by.

So on that Sit at home day May 31 because we didn't go out they use that opportunity to fix the tiling in the visitors toilet but no Wc and piping was not completed. I brought out drink for us cheer and gist . So since there's no need to leave my spare Key with caretaker I quickly collected because I was not happy that someone might be entering my apartment when I'm not around.
So last weekend I brought back some can malts and spirits home that's what I deal on . I was expecting my babe on Sunday she didn't show up. It was 12 cans half of Amstel malt so I took 1 it supposed to remain 11. I came back on Thursday day before yesterday because once I'm back I'll always check my fridge to check if the have fix the light issue we had since this week. E shock me say my malt can dey miss 3. I went to my room I noticed some movements showing someone entered my house . I quickly called my landlord on phone and explained things to him . He came I showed him my observation we counted the remaining malt . He told me that I should check myself very well if I gave my spare key to anyone . I said no . He told I can see no trace of any sign that a criminal break into my apartment. So he left the matter self tire me . I took one malt and it's remaining 7 and check how I kept my belongings and left in the morning. I came back last night and check my fridge the can malt supposed to remain 7 but it's 6 na was e shock me again it looks like a Nollywood movie so I observed my parlor it's been swept half way because I applied snipper insecticide because of mosquito and other ant's so i don't even have time to clean up my house unless on weekends . Na wa I carry sit dey think many things I call my landlord on phone again and told him I'll like to see him. After so minutes he came I explain the things to him . He went to call the caretaker all of us just dey reason the matter . I want to even dey fear self wether na spirit dey whine me so. But I no offend anybody na . So my landlord said I should be prayerful before they left he brought one oil there pastor gave him that after praying I should sprinkle it around my house . Make we observe tomorrow if such happen again we'll know the next step to take. So when they left I drop that oil for one corner. Base on say I be spiritual man white garment church Bobo . I smile codedly I knew that my landlord is aware that I'm a white garment church person but not before I parked in because of different kinds of perfume I dey apply . He taught I'm using it for business boom and all that but I use it to drive away negative spirits and Evil people I meet at my shop . So sometimes he'll try reason me say one day make I try follow dem come there church that we're one family in the compound. He attends the same church with the caretaker .

So in summary I'm going to give him back the oil that meself spirits dey fear me oo. I'm thinking of telling him that I need that parlor door key to be changed I'll personally go to timber and I get a new key to protect my privacy . Because I think someone still have one of the keys . My landlord only gave me 3 keys from my own understanding the keys might be 4 or 5 , because even before now my intuition do tell me someone enters my apartment when I'm not around.

So my fellow nl guys what's your suggestion on this . Sorry my story might be long and errors.

Nnamdi Kenny Okwu Kanu, or simply known as Nnamdi Kanu, is a Nigerian political activist based in the United Kingdom. He is the leader of one of the several Biafran separatist organizations, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and the director of a London-based radio station, Radio Biafra. To many Nigerians, Nnamdi Kanu is a troublemaker, while many Biafran supporters believe he is their hero and leader.

His Childhood and Early Life
Nnamdi Kanu was born in Isiama Afara, Abia State, Nigeria sometime in the 1970s. His father HRM Eze Israel Okwu Kanu (JP) (a traditional ruler) and his mother Ugoeze Nnenne Kanu raised him in Umuahia. He is the first of five children and the first son of his father. He attended Library Avenue Primary School (now part of Government House, Umuahia) and went to Government College for his secondary education. Later, Nnamdi Kanu gained admission to the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) but was forced to leave for Europe in order to finish his studies, following delays occasioned by incessant strikes by the university’s academic and non-academic staff.

He Educated Himself in the History of Nigeria, Igbo Tribe, and Biafran War
Being an individual who has a voracious appetite for historical books, Nnamdi Kanu knows so much about the history of Nigeria. Having discovered that the various ethnic groups and tribes in Nigeria are of different cultures, religions, beliefs and different understanding of life, he believes that every Nigerian ethnic group is different in every way, and are not meant to be together as a nation.


Also, believing his people, the Igbo tribe, are marginalized by the federal government of Nigeria, Nnamdi Kanu took interest in fighting for the restoration of Biafra, a nation for the Igbo people.

According to Kanu’s father, Nnamdi Kanu finally decided to fight for Biafra by himself after it was discovered that Ralph Uwazuruike (former leader of the Movement for the Actualisation of Biafra), was allegedly collecting money from the Nigerian government, in the name of the pro-Biafra struggle, for personal aggrandizement at the expense of the Biafran struggle.

Nnamdi Kanu, being a fighter of the people seriously condemned this and as you would expect, Uwazuruike felt he was challenging him and decided to fight back. The result of this altercation culminated in the formation of IPOB.


Kanu’s rise to fame and popularity started in 2015 when he was arrested in his hotel room at Golden Tulip Essential Hotel Ikeja, Lagos State by Nigeria’s secret police – the Department of State Services (DSS). His solicitors, in a press briefing, said that between 14th and 17th October 2015, their client’s whereabouts was unknown until 18th of October, 2015, when the Press broke the news of his arrest and detention by the SSS in Abuja.

His Arrest Was Shrouded In Many Controversies
The news of the arrest of Mr. Kanu led to a mass protest across different parts of the South-East and South-South geopolitical zones.

On October 19, 2015, it was reported that Nnamdi Kanu had been granted bail after a secret arraignment at the Magistrate Court, Wuse 11. However, the bail seemed “controversial” and there were claims the DSS announced the bail only “to calm the angry people of Biafra”.


Although the bail conditions were stringent, Kanu’s lawyer said they eventually met the requirements in full. However, upon the issuance of Form 36, the order came back unsuccessful. They were unable to produce the prisoner. The lawyer, Vincent Obetta, called Nnamdi Kanu’s continued detention despite meeting his bail conditions “a clash between judiciary and executive” in a democratic Nigeria.

Kanu was finally arraigned on November 23, 2015, in an Abuja Magistrate Court for the first time on charges of “criminal conspiracy, intimidation, and membership to an illegal organization. After prolonged detention, he was released in 2017 amidst many controversies.

Nnamdi Kanu is married to Uchechi Kanu and on Tuesday, January 5th, 2016, while still in detention, their union was blessed with a baby boy who was delivered in an undisclosed hospital.

Where Is Nnamdi Kanu Now?

In September 2017, after the Nigerian Military began its second phase of Operation Python Dance II in South-Eastern states, the home of the IPOB leader was invaded by the army in a bloody raid that led to several deaths and casualties. Following the attack, he was rumored to have been captured by the army. The military, on the other hand, couldn’t account for the whereabouts of the IPBOB leader. However, as time passed, it was revealed that the activist fled through Malaysia to the UK with his family. Months later, a picture surfaced online, showing Nnamdi Kanu and his wife at a Suya spot in Ghana. Reports further claimed he and his wife Uchechi are living at an estate, Cantonment, in Accra known as Arabella while other speculations suggested that he is living in Isreal. Although the UK government allegedly demanded that the Nigerian government reveal his whereabouts, nobody is still sure where the bold activist is hiding currently.

1. He Has Die-Hard Fans

Nnamdi Kanu gathered for himself many fans that accord him godlike respect. Some of his supporters had been caught kissing his feet with some worshipping him and calling him their savior. Besides “worshipping” him, some of his dedicated fans don’t mind losing their lives to show how much they love him. In 2016 alone, Amnesty International recorded that Nigerian security forces killed about 150 of his supporters. More deaths were recorded the following year up until his disappearance.

2. He is No Longer The IPOB Leader

After his disappearance in 2017 following the army invasion to his home, Nnamdi Kanu has been reportedly accused of running with embezzled funds that were contributed to promoting the cause. This led to his dethronement from the position of IPOB leader.

3. He Wanted Biafra By All Means

Kanu did everything he could to gain freedom for Biafra since he believed that Biafra was the “Promised Land” and his mission was to restore it. However, his mission failed prematurely after the soldiers stormed his village (in Abia State) in 2017.

Fayose was providing him with propaganda information to be used against Buhari, Nnamdi believed Fayose when he told him that Buhari was dead. Being drunk with power, and having been corrupted by power, he crossed boundaries by attacking every ethnic group that is not Igbo.

He even went further to lunch a murderous campaign against Igbos that don't support his evil agenda, Nnamdi has never done any work in his life. He has no house of his own. He has become rich through contributions by vulnerable Igbos to IPOB. Nnamdi is now worth over 10 million pounds.

So I developed passion for teaching during my NYSC. After service I couldn't get regular jobs because of the distance from my place of residence to city so I resolve to apply for teaching.
Since I started teaching in private school I have been exploited, over used, underpaid, and so many ills. I have made up my mind to quit because there are lots of frustrated people running the schools. I'm planning to quit by end of this second term. I applied for PGDE in education in one of the federal University but I feel it ain't worth it anymore, i will jus go for the program just to enhance my certificate.
I plan to run online course and certification to improve my employability and I currently learning some skills as well

I have an half breed Caucasian that is very very active, to everyone surprise thieves broke into my house when there was no one at home, the security man outside claimed the dog did not bark at all and when we returned to the house the dog was still very active. There was no sign that the dog was wounded. What are the likely scenario that can account for it not attacking the intruder. Can the dog be distracted? because the thieves broke in through the back window after scaling the fence. Thanks

I wanted to apply for schools that will offer accommodation far from my place but I found none.

Keep applying. Don't give up. Google list of secondary schools in Lagos (Lekki) for example then submit your resume online through their website. Pray for interview invite, attend and when you succeed, tell them about accomodation.
