There's nothing like "anti-corruption candidate" but the most "hypocritical candidate". |
LogicStatement:Now that's funny... . I can understand your frustrations and pains here. But hey! Try this stunt with those in your league. I'm above such gimmicks. ![]() |
LogicStatement:Sorry dear, you haven't back your idolatry with any scripture because non supports it. You're only good at butchering the truths. Don't forget you still haven't answer the one simple question I've been asking: Which of the saints did Abraham & Jesus asked for intercession, as given in your examples of those who made intercessions for the people? And yes... the only support and facts you can rightfully claim here, is from paganism. |
Ubenedictus:This has zero sense. Come up with something better. Diverting wouldn't change the fact that you're an idol worshiper just like the traditionalists do. |
Ubenedictus:You mean the corrupt one that has on its pages the apocrypha? Yours is inconsequential and therefore damned. |
Ubenedictus:I know who they are, it's a pity you don't know. |
Ubenedictus:Of course it does to all discerning minds except you. Sorry. |
Ubenedictus:Is this the best you can come up with in differentiating between you and a traditional worshiper? Okay well done, but that was a very lame attempt. |
Ubenedictus:I do not know of a true Jew nor the early disciples that prayed to a saint in heaven for their intercessions. Not that there's any; but none. |
Ubenedictus:Your traditions is inconsequential. While you uphold traditions, I uphold the scriptures alone. |
Ubenedictus:Sorry bro if you feel insulted. I wish I could somehow sugar-coat this truth, but no. Kneeling/bowing before a statue of a so-called Mary or Jesus in an act of prayer is not different from what traditionalists do. Can you tell the difference between yours and theirs? |
Ubenedictus:You don't expect me to swallow such brutal twisting of the truths, do you? Your fellow traveler claims that Abraham and Jesus made intercessions for the people, and I asked: Which of the saints did they asked for this intercessions? |
Ubenedictus:I don't need to refute anything. His butchering of the truths is conspicuous to discerning minds except maybe you. |
Ubenedictus:And where is it written that the dead can intercede for the living? |
Ubenedictus:Which of the departed faithfuls did Mary pray for their intercession while she was alive? |
Ubenedictus:These are explanations you give to your fellow Catholic, not someone like me. Being smart by half wouldn't work here. “Intercessions aren't made to saints”, so what do you do when you kneel before the statue of 'a' Mary and pray to the idol? The question is: Which of the faithful servants throughout the ages has ever prayed to a departed faithful for his/her intercession? You may as well help in answering this one question: Which of the saints did Abraham or Jesus prayed to for their intercessions? |
jamp:It is too small a thing to counter, I've done it for uncountable times. Thing is: he has no point! He can't even answer the simple question I asked him about the intercession he claimed were made by Abraham and Jesus. Can you help him by telling me which of the saints that these intercessions were made to? jamp:I'm not here to change any view. Don't forget this is a public forum. |
jamp:I don't know any of these churches. So, I don't speak for them. Now, all these talks of “what about this... what about that person” is stale already. Are these people your own standard? While there's absolutely nothing wrong in having a friend's picture in either your house, car, office, etc, the moment that image becomes an abomination is when you put it before you, kneel/bow and pray to it. That is outright idolatry! So, in which of these churches you've mentioned is the worship/veneration of images sanctioned, as it is done in your Catholic church? Tell me, that I may also call them out for their idolatry. PS: Philippians 4:6 states: “...but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God”, not unto “Mary” or the “saints.” You don't need an intercessor to get your prayers to God, pray to Him in the name of Jesus as the mediator and you'll be heard! Abraham, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, Samuel, Deborah and other faithful servants of God never ask any saint or angel for intercession, but all made their requests and supplications directly to God, who is the hearer of prayers! (Psalm 65:2). |
effico:I see. All these talk of insults is nothing but an emotional blackmail. Sorry, it doesn't work on me. Op has no biblical backing for his rank idolatry, but the same old terrible twisting of scriptures to say what they want it to say. I asked a question which you may as well help him answer: Did Abraham asked Noah to intercede or was it Jesus that prayed for an intercession from one of His angels? Op's submission in his bid to justify the worship (all that talk of "honoring" is a grand deception!) of Mary is simply humorous. |
LogicStatement:Who is a protestant? Where is the insult and the superior argument? Seems you're a starter in this forum. I'd advice you to go for more studies. At least learn better ways of twisting Scriptures to somehow support your idolatry. Your outing here is nothing but a disaster. Such wicked butchering of the truths! |
kabasa77:Yeah. Aside his lame attempts aimed at justifying their rank idolatry and sheer butchering of the truths, the question is: Did Abraham pray to Noah to intercede or was it Jesus that prayed to angel Michael for intercession? And yes... he doesn't even know who a saint is. Such a needless show of ignorance. SMH |

So Sullivan Chime decamped to APC and a party is thrown to welcome him? You see! APC is nothing but a conglomerate of highly skilled and un-retired thieves! ![]() As for Oyegun and his bogus claims, good to see that the old man still have a good sense of humor. ![]()

I wonder how people will see babalawos and still called them pastors. ![]() |
Learn1: Really? Okay, calm down. Pre-intimacy must have drained you of all the excitement before the real deal. It's normal. |
Learn1:Oh congratulation bro on your new found status as a eunuch. ![]() |
omenkaLives:What happened to that obligation, seeing that you're here commenting on a mad man piece? Are you also mad? omenkaLives:You've just described yourself. Is the pot then calling the kettle black? omenkaLives:I feared most for yours.

So sorry for such a frustrating plight. I'd advice you to watch your speed when you talk; take your words calmly. And of course if possible, do away with anger entirely. Pele. |
Kericoo:You're mistaking self-consolation and chronic frustrations at its peak to mean self-love. This is a show of a desperado. ![]() |
Safiaa:Not until you're Adesualize. ![]() Safiaa:Kini? Wait until your pastor starts using it as his sermons topic, then you'll know that you haven't seen anything yet. Safiaa:Their relationship is the next big thing after Mary/Joseph's own. So what? Honor them like the Catholics do. ![]() |
