I am of the opinion that marriage profits men more than women. Somedays I just want to run away and leave loverboy  with his child let them fend for themselves.

You said best friend abi? Yes I would. The mistake people make is telling someone who is just a friend, neighor or co worker.

marriage is a lot of hardwork. you have to consciously create time for each other by doing whatever it takes. with kids running around there's no privacy for romance oh. Each time my daughter sees the bedroom door shut she will knock and knock and whine till she is let in. you cant even knack in peace. Lol. Frustrates the heck out of my husband. I am all for shipping the kid off to grandma. Enjoy peace and quiet and each others company.

When I go to a crusade or prayer session, I go not to be impressed by miracles or signs of wonders. I go to receive the word of God. The whole miracle thing has been taken to strange heights in Nigeria. Never put your trust in man because the more you look the less you see.

the fact that some men out there would prefer to give this rat the money without thinking shows you the state of the "marriage business" in 9ja.
to some (like the poster of the above statement) its just about appearances, being married at all cost so that everyone around him/her will "believe" that they are happily married while its just a sham!

they want to do all the cheating in the world but yet dont want to pay the consequences of their action and instead would rather pretend to be somebody they are not, get married and ruin someone's life by not being honest.

if people want to get married, this is the stuff in their (very near) past that their spouse should know about.

there is dis chick i've bn following up wit for ova a month ago, she stays in lag while i reside in abj

I flew into lag after close of work on friday wit high hopes and xpectatns,my flight was delayed so i culdnt c her dt nite i just hanged out wit some of my guys.
The following day which was saturday, her no was nt reachable til lyke 2pm only for her to even tel me dt she wil nt be chanced 2 c me becos there is dis show coming up at d lagoon and she's one of d organizers.

I felt very bad, considering d fact dt i came 2 lag because of dis chick though i had 2 lie 2 my peeps dt i came for a training, saturday was a very long day for me took lyke 2 bottles den followed my cousin to a joint in Ikeja and was there till lyke 3am b4 going home.

Sunday was another boring day for me, i was @ LTV, spent lyke 30mins b4 heading 4 d airport and i got back 2 abj around 9pm on Sunday.

Anyway I think your experience happened because she wasnt even really your girlfriend, didnt give you any real go ahead to fly in on val's day to see her. Blame yourself.
