What is the range of your pod's short range tiny camera ?

Does your camera have image magnification lens ?

Then you need men on ground to walk into enemy base and place laser designators on the enemy equipment for your pod to work, your soldiers will enter inside Nigerian army base abi ?

Else you need to fly only withing range of the pod laser/FLIR to find target and risk enemy air defences fire.

Your targeting pod has no missile to guide from a Gripen, all you have is a slow snail speed guided bomb that will be shot down by Roland SAM[/s]

If you need 150 hours for combat qualification, and you have 50 hours only, you will be able to fly the aircraft, but your incompetence will show when real combat comes and the F-7 jet s.hoots down the Gripen jet in 5 minutes of combat[/s]

At present the SAAF can only muster six qualified Gripen pilots who only have 150 flying hours available across the whole Gripen squadron this year, according to Maynier. The annual target for fighter flying hours was 250 for the 2011/2012 period, according to the Department of Defence’s most recent Annual Report.

SAAF only has 6 qualified Gripen Pilots, and only 9 Gripen Pilots of a total Gripen crew of 18.

Yes, you only have 9 Gripen Pilots. We aren't bothered, it is SAAF which has to deal with a severe pilot shortage.
