This issue is very serious and demands the attention of the leadership of both countries. |
Nigeria needs a very credible, knowledgeable, intellectually engaging and consistent opposition. Democracy without opposition is dangerous and while I am not a politician; I'd rather have three big parties as options for the electorate rather than one party. |
Reno seems to be getting easily pissed these days. |
It is my prayers that the President gets well soon and return in great spirit to confront the challenges for which Nigerians elected him. Pending that, everyone should support the acting President in continuing to drive positive changes in our country. God bless Nigeria and Nigerians. |
In civilized societies, the Law does not recognize or respect anyone. You commit the crime, you face the consequence. Chikena! |
Accept it or not; Reno Omokri did a far better job of defending and protecting ex President Jonathan than what the current media aides to PMB are doing. Why cause disaffection for your Principal when all he needs is the support of the majority to succeed? |
It is not about whether the present oil crash is over or not rather it is about if we have learnt any lessons on planning, saving and development. Dubai, UAE envisioned that there crude reserve will be significantly exhausted by 2016 and therefore set a plan in motion towards creating alternative sources of earnings to preserve and sustain their economy. And in 26 years; Dubai is now one of the leading tourists destinations in the world and a major power broker in global aviation. This should be the type of visions, plans and critical developmental strides that our government should be concerned with not oil price today and something else tomorrow. The good news is that we can do it if we put aside corruption, selfishness, religious and ethnic bigotry! |
There are some things better left unsaid. |
Great work and quite creative too. Don't drop the vision; keep working at it and you will be celebrated soon. |
Waoh. His guardian angel may not recognize him again! |
Let them just face the business of the day and work for Nigeria and Nigerians. |
Some of the languages these so called spokespersons use are rather uncultured, raw, unrefined and lacking in in decorum. One should be able to address issues without name calling and abusive cannons. He that lives in a glass house shouldn't be throwing stones! |
Maturity! |
Harvard is arguably the best business school in the world but that is not the catch. There is a powerful alumni network that ensures that things work for those privileged to have attended. |
African have a long way to go. Some Nigerians roads are even longer! |
All these outbursts show only one thing: Most of our celebrities go into marriages of convenience. Once it gets hot; they get out! |
This is a critical case to be urgently addressed by the DSS. If left unattended to could snowball into a major crisis as the level of illiteracy in the North leaves no room for lethargy on this type of rumour. |
Chelsea must be wary of the way Swansea now plays under new coach Clement. They are very good with the ball and quick on the counter. Luiz mus t have been warned of that and to keep in line with Llorente and Routlege. |
Mynd44:Bros Na wah for you! |
I am speechless and puzzled at the same time. |
With this muscle, Nigeria should have no worry qualifying for the World Cup. ![]() Get well and kicking soon Bro! |
There are ALWAYS three sides to a story: 1. Side A 2. Side B 3. The Truth. Whatever has gone wrong with a beautiful relationship that a multitude of young female adults have looked up to should be carefully handled. The way Tontoh and her husband have handled this unfortunate reality leaves much to be desired. For all that it is worth - let them remember that there is an innocent child involved. I pray that God intervenes and that they keep quiet at least! |
Zenith Bank is one of the the financial institutions in Nigeria that is really committed to the development of the ICT capacity of the youth. They gave this type of center to University of Lagos and it has been productively used for years. When successful corporate organizations get more involved in CSR, our country can only be better off for it. |
The Vice President's work ethics is well documented. If only others can keep at pace..... We really need to be moving fast to recover lost grounds and only the speed of Usain Bolt will do for now! |
Hate Gov. Ayo Fayose or like him; he will always say his mind. The truth is that there is urgent need for matured politics in our country. This one that we practice as if God is not relevant has not and will not lead us anywhere. For instance, nothing stops the APC led Federal Government from collaborating with PDP states for the progress of all Nigerians. At the end of the day, what ordinary Nigerians will remember is the positive impacts of our politicians in their lives not how well they were able to stay loyal to their parties. |
Jose Mourinho has won 10 out 12 cup finals. Safe to say that his record is almost impeccable. However; football is never straight forward and when you expect it to go one way, it could divert to your chagrin. Who wins tomorrow and who bites fingers? It is the first major finals of this season and it is going to be thrilling to say the least.
|
At least he went the productive and creative way instead of just giving out money. |
If our government has been moving at this pace over the past 18 months, we would have been seeing at least a semblance of the change we all crave for in our dear Nation. Hopefully the sack will ginger some serious actions towards addresing safety, security and decency in all our airports particularly the international ones. An airport is the first contact most visitors have with any country and it could make or mar! |
I am beginning to think that there is actually something that should be tagged as the 'curse of the Olympics'. The most recent unfortunate incidence of the Rio event is nothing compared to what happened to Greece after they hosted the world at Athens in 2004. It is arguably one of the main reasons that beautiful country got into a terrible economic recession. |
It was an emotional statement and that is to be understood. However, the owners of Leicester City knew that they either take a decision or watch their team drop down. Ranieri did well and history will never forget him but it was time to move on! |
Asiwaju Tinubu has done what is expected of a man that understands that 'life is cyclical'. Atori laye; to fi si wa ju, a a tun fi seyin ni! |
