fogechi:My mum did it for all of us growing up. With hand ooo, not washing machine. |
caprini1:I lived there for 2 years. You know what they call silent poison? That is what most Ghanaians I have met are. I have been refused a sale in a shop simply because I was a Nigerian. One of my guys had equivalent of N300,000 stolen by a Ghanaian couple, who then reported to their police that the guy was threatening them. We used some serious strong arm methods to recover that money. If you are a Nigerian living in Ghana or planning to go to Ghana, please be very wise. It was their extortionist $150 charge for rapid COVID test at the airport (when Sierra Leone was charging $80) that forced a serious complaint at ECOWAS level before a uniform charge for ECOWAS citizens of $50 was mandated. Nigerian students are the ones propping up their educational system as all fees are paid in US dollars. Left to me, Ghana should be kicked out of ECOWAS and left on their own. Let them start requiring visas of everyone and let everyone also require visas of them. Let us see how they survive. |
Read the bible, pray and know God for yourself so you can hear from Him directly...they will not hear. It is to be chasing one prophet after another to be seeing for them. They will keep falling for such people. They never learn. God says..I know my sheep, and my sheep hear My Voice. Come closer to God and be accounted to be one of his sheep. |
tutudesz:E be like say you no get sense. Do you know what war is? |
orlaglobal234:He has just been given a life sentence. |
raji1980:That means there are discrepancies in your application. Maybe with your financial statements. As a rule, you must show you have about 100 pounds per day for the period you will spend in the UK. That means if are spending 5 days, you must have at least 500 pounds per day in spending funds. You should also have a place to stay (confirmed hotel booking) and your expenditure in the UK must not exceed a certain percentage of your monthly salary or business inflow. Also, have you travelled before? If you were given a previous tourist visa and you overstayed, or you stayed for a very long time, it raises doubts as to whether you have a job or a business at home. That can be grounds of refusal of entry the next time. Also, if you do not have regular transaction activity, and you suddenly show a lump sum into your account prior to application, you will be refused. |
200naira:Try looking for a house in Ghana, then you will know they are the worst of the worst. |
VEXT:I am a remote worker bro. I also operate a business with a company in one of the adjoining islands. Every citizen of Barbados has a government issued ID card with which to access services. If you are a foreigner, you should be working towards starting a business and not working here. The process of getting a work permit is difficult. |
Meanwhile Barcelona got roasted 3-0 by Benfica. |
He is right. In theory, it is visa-on-entry for Nigerians. But in reality, it is not. If you cannot prove what you are going for, right from Murtala Mohammed airport, dem go bounce you. Airline won't even board you. Then the transit visa. You have to prove your reason for travel beyond all reasonable doubt. So your packaging has to start from your finances first, for at least 8 months before you can even start to apply. |
Life in Barbados is sweet. But expensive. However, everything here works. As in, everything works! My house has no fence. Nobody puts fence around their houses here. What does that tell you about security and the way of life here? Met two Naija couples who came here for delivery. Also met some students of Nigerian origin in American University of Barbados. |
Ah ah!. The dude is from a wealthy family ooo. |
Acidosis:You see? You apparently did not ready my post. I clearly said there were countries that incorporate both. I did not go out listing them all because my point was already made. Even in America, entertainment and sports is where the blacks make it. Where do you see blacks anywhere else? Even Barack Obama has a white woman's blood in him. Are the blacks in control of congress? Are they in control in the US Supreme Court? Even the largest church in America is not pastored by a black man. Even in the sports betting industry in Nigeria, who are the people behind the software? If the EU decides to prohibit online gaming or stop the companies in Malta and Cyprus that provide the backend for those sports betting software, all those big names are screwed instantly. Anyway, I have made my point. Anyone waiting for Nigeria to adopt science and technology as the basis for its economic progress is wasting his time. |
Real Madrid beaten at home. |
The best player in PSG's side does it. Neymar, Mbappe and Gana have been wasting and spoiling balls all day long. Finally Messi decides to do it himself. |
chatinent:There are countries which thrive on academic excellence and creativity of the human mind. America, China, Germany are such countries. If you want to thrive as an academic champion, that is where to go to. There are countries that thrive on entertainment, frivolities and enterprise. If you are strong in these areas, Nigeria is one such country. Some countries have space for both types of stuff. But you see Naija? Nigeria has no place for academic excellence, which is why investment in health, education, research & development, science and technology (or STEM courses) is ZERO. As a parent, I did this analysis some years ago and decided where my children will be headed. |
This is even worse than Wan Bissaka's tackle. How is De Bruyne still on the pitch? |
Why is everybody wailing? Simply convert your compound soakaway pit to a biodigester and say goodbye to cooking gas. |
Zonex1:Take down your drivers license quickly. The UK government is about to start issuing temporary visas. They need 100,000 truck drivers. Go and apply sharply with a certification of your trucking skill. Such opportunities are once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Do not waste it. |
Cousin9999:Anyone who wants to learn how trucking in the US works, please subscribe to this fellow's YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7qhEuCYkV1Q5jFSxS21Oxw |
Vietnaminfo:Don't mind that fellow. He is very ignorant. I have challenged him to come to this place where I am on his so-called "visa-free" status. BA will not even board him at MMIA. I don't understand how people will be arguing with those who have walked the walk. They will just sit there and be talking. |
Mandela887:I am just laughing at this foolish and senseless post. Since Barbados is visa-free, I challenge you to travel through London Heathrow or through JFK or Boston airports to this place. Let me see who will issue you a transit visa through those countries on your "visa-free" status without valid reason. Have you ever applied for UK transit visa before? You think it is a joke? Do you even know how to get here? I presently live here. I have a bank account here (let me see who will give you this on a tourist visa). I passed through the process so I can talk with confidence about the process. People like you just read stuff and talk theory about things they do not know. |
No agent issues visa. Get that straight. Also, a visa is tied to work, study or tourism. Some are tied to investments (usually in millions of dollars). Some like the one I used to go to Barbados, are tied to special government programs. Each pathway has defined rules. No government will ever issue a visa to a riff-raff or to someone who is coming to drain or overburden their systems. As a student, you are paying fees, which brings foreign inflow to that country. Depending on the country, you may be given limited working rights (UK, Australia, US), or you may not be given any working rights at all (Ghana, Malaysia, China). As a skilled worker, you are bringing skills in areas of special need. The company you work for will sponsor the visa for you by applying on your behalf to the relevant ministry in that country. As a tourist, you are bringing tourism dollars. You cannot work on a tourist visa. An investment visa means you have to open a company and employ locals, or buy government bonds, or invest in property. Roman Abrahmovic's purchase of Chelsea FC in 2003 is an example of such an investment, which gave him the rights to live in the UK when he was having some issues in Russia. He also owns CSKA Moscow, so he brought with him knowledge and experience of football club investment, which is why that deal to buy Chelsea was ratified after scrutiny. Forget what any agent will tell you. They will only give you fake visas and put you in trouble. There is no such thing as going abroad to hustle. It is a fallacy. If you are going abroad, go from a position of strength. Don't jump out using some fake documents that will keep you operating under the shadows. Here in Barbados, my stay is legal and I move around freely. Even my pastor asked me how I came here to be sure I was here legally, before I freely joined the church. |
Likah:I can categorically tell you that this option is available. I met a Nigerian couple yesterday who are flying back this week with their baby, born here in Barbados. |
All of you making noise about Vietnamese women...do you know how many babies were born to American soldiers serving there in the Vietnam war? THOUSANDS! Are your own Nigerian money-hungry girls doing olosho work in Dubai, Italy, Ghana and all over the world and in Nigeria any better? See that married one Tega opening her legs for that Boma fellow...a married woman disgracing herself, her parents and her family on live TV. Or is it that one called Angel that cannot keep her slutty hands to her self? Free the dude abeg. He has found his golden fleece! |
I am happy that the guy has got a lot wiser. All the years I spent in Naija, I just dey apply for foreign gigs and nothing. A few weeks in Barbados and I already have 2 offers from America and one from Europe. Same CV, same everything. You will never know you are in hell until you enter heaven. |
This is a total breach of extant regulations governing the award of professorship in Nigeria and globally. Those involved must go to prison. |
Lula will floor Bolsonaro any day, any time, anywhere. |
Same thing. My former boss sacked me unjustly, and paid me N25,000 out of my N40,000 salary. His cousin who damaged my car and whom I got to repair the damage, told the boss what happened and demanded that my boss deduct that money from my salary. My boss cut my money further and gave to him. 14 years after, I sat at MMIA with the same man a few feet ahead of me. As I entered the line to fly out of Nigeria, I caught him looking at me in amazement. The look on his face was priceless. God said, sit down at My right hand while I make your enemies your footstool. |
Nebulax:1-0 is not raping please. Both teams missed thousands of chances. |
Which form did you fill? Did you fill the W8-BEN form? Or did you register as a US resident? |
Junk journalism. How can a journalist just take excerpts from a speech by the CBN governor, and write a story without actually going to each of the 25 banks to confirm if this is true? |
