Evolutionlove:
We are Coping absolutely fine.

Infact I just gave my Wife N500,000 to go to Market and stock up the house with everything we will need for consumption till December.

I have Paid my children school tuition fees for 2024 season.

I just Deposited N5,000,000 into my Children Trust Fund Account.

This Regime is the best and i keep on praying it will continue to favor me and my family.
You are selfish.

I was earning N3m a month before I left Naija. Dollar was 460 - 520 then. The calls I get daily are gut wrenching.

Try and assist whoever you can please.

I am a single guy living alone though I have aged parents to take care of.

Currently battling suicidal thoughts.
Think of your parents. Don't do it.
AgricultureRe: We Bathe our Pigs To Achieve Healthy Pigs And a Smell-less Pig Farm (Video/Pict by staga: 6:07pm On Aug 14, 2023
Pigs lack sweat glands. They cannot sweat to cool down their massive frames.

That's why they have to wallow in mud so it can act as an insulating mechanism to ward off the heat. If you can spare the time to bathe them or splash water on them, it achieves the same effect.

I don't understand why Tinubu is carrying this Niger junta matter on his head like firewood.

Niger isn't the first west African country to experience a coup in the last 5 years and would certainly not be the last.

The reality here is that Nigeria doesn't have the resources to sustain a war.

War is expensive. Hitler lost WW2 cos he invaded the Solvet Union and as his war with the Solvet Union prolonged, he couldn't afford to feed and supply his over 3m German soldiers fighting on the Eastern from. Most German soldiers in starlingard starved to death. Many ran out of ammunition and surrendered cos they could not be supplied.

If Tinubu sends 10,000 soldiers to Niger. He shouldn know that feeding 10,000 soldiers for just 1 month, replenishing exhausted ammunition, artillery, tanks, fuel for the armoured divisions, magazines, and you'll still pay their salaries, medications...etc. You'll agree with me that the expenses would run into billions of naira.

If the war escalates to like 6-8 months, Nigeria wouldn't be able to sustain itself cos it would have exhausted all it's finances on the war.

And the west who are urging him to go on wouldn't support him with a penny. So we would finish our resources on a war that isn't our business, loose thousands of service men, become dead broke...and for what, to please the west?

Somebody should talk sense inside that man's head.
I am sure he has been threatened by the West. Why? Maybe the grapevines have the answer.
TravelRe: Japa: See crowd At The UK Embassy In Nigeria by staga: 8:29pm On Aug 11, 2023
It is normal to see such crowds in August. People going for summer holidays and students prepping for school resumption in September.
It has nothing to do with any japa syndrome.

Besides, that is probably the offices of VFS Global and not UK embassy. You do not visit UK embassy in person to process visas.

brother you said they were mature when they left and came back older with knowledge of their villages ? Do you know how long slavery went for ? Like 300 years. Nobody who went came back unless you fought the slavers on the ship and escaped and returned back I. Which case you would still remain your african name. All those names are the white masters that owned them . Anyone who has those names is a many generational slave.
I think she meant the descendants who decided to come back from Brazil on their own.

All descendants of Brazilian slaves of Yoruba origin who returned voluntarily. I watched a documentary about them recently. Heard they even have a strong association in Lagos.

I don’t support the use of force. But I want those military leaders out of power. Military guys aren’t intelligent enough to rule a nation.
Step back and look inwards. The military built all our critical infrastructure, from roads to refineries to airports. Your civilian politicians built nothing.

JaskanFactor:
As fellow software engineer who works in Europe. All i can tell you is that if you got good career path in Nigeria better hold on to it.

People very seriously underestimate how rampant racism in UK can destroy not just your career but your life.

I have been to jobs as freelance robotics developer, where i did not just have to deal with racism of fellow engineers, but security guards.
So that in Europe in many cases when you go to work, it also has the risk of incident that could lead to police involvement everyday you go to work. The sort of risk you would expect from going to rowdy night club, and not place of work.

If you have something good in Nigeria, dont leave it for career in country of those who treat your people like enemy who deserve no right to life.

I haven't worked for them in over a decade , and it was a very disturbing very ugly 20 years i worked for them in over 20 companies as i realised very early in my career that permanent job offered me no real career prospects, so became freelance after 3 years out of uni.

If on the other hand you see yourself as a professional ass kisser , ready to bend over backwards for sub human level of shit behind closed doors, they will like you a lot.

If you have some morals and principles , they will ruin your career and ask you to pay for it by coming to your house to ask for taxes ,even though they block your path to real career.

Better to make your money in Nigeria and visit Europe when you feel like it ,
Ask yourself why rich Nigerians still live in Nigeria, and you can work from home for European companies now.

If you planning to go live amongst people, its good idea to know what they say about your people

https://www.bitchute.com/
That's one example of a very racist website where Europeans go talk all kinds crap about black people.
Those will be your work colleagues if you want to work in Europe.

The more high-tech the more advanced the level of intellect required in the field the more racist the place is, do you get it now.

And the only reason there aren't massive bill boards warning japa people about the dangers of racism is cause they the Europeans run Nigeria all the way down to NTA and the price of bread.

Been in Europe over forty years and i still get blood pressure every time i go grocery shopping , never mind an office. I do most of my shopping online as result of racism.

If you got good career [prospects in Nigeria, dont leave it to go work for those who are encouraging each other in their view that people who look like you dont deserve a right to life.
The question that begs answering is this: if it was this bad, how in the world did you end up spending 40 years in Europe and still counting? Surely there must be gains working in Europe and not Naija.

Niger does not have what it takes to stand ECOWAS.
Also I don't want this war on Niger, they are trying to find a govt that will suit them, but I seriously don't want them to think a military dictator is better than a democratic govt.

I think they have to look for a voice in Democracy than settling for military rule
How will this come about when politicians only know how to manipulate election results, buy votes and pervert the course of justice?

SmartPolician:
If Tinubu could govern the richest state in Nigeria and his biggest achievement was leaving behind a plan for his successors, nobody should expect anything from him.

I live in Lagos, but I thank God I work remotely and online too. Before now, I'd budget 11k for 50-litre PMS for my gen per month. Now, 12k cannot even fill a 25-litre Jerry can. However, electricity has significantly improved - probably because we are in rainy season.
Oga sharply convert your gen. The gen in my facility in Naija runs on LPG fully.

Christianity EtcRe: Religion Has Finished My Mother.. by staga: 10:35pm On Jul 12, 2023
She is what we call a transactional Christian. Jumping from church to church looking for what I don't know.

God sets the solitary in families, but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. (Psalm 68 verse 6).

Families here is both nuclear and spiritual family. Just as you cannot change your family, so also you should be in a church and take root there. Those who jump from church to church are like vagabonds with no foundation, no covering. A rolling stone gathers no moss.

I just hope your mother can be sensible about what she is really doing. Is she really after God, or just after things she believes she will get by giving beyond her means? God is not a robber and will never demand from you beyond your ability.
