@ rheether, honestly I don't have a single believe in Nigeria (individual something though).
@dandollaz, that language barrier is why I am strongly considering Ghana. Though I can take French classes, download translation apps and study French books too. Thanks for your contributions.
I need more detailed explanation on the two.
Ghana is a hostile country for business. Forget the place.

Hello friends, my daughter is very far ahead of her peers (class mates and outsiders) academically and otherwise. She started school when she was 2yrs. 3wks in school she had already knw how to write 1 to 10, A to F (I mean write not just to read).

Now she is 3yrs and she does things extraordinary. She can write 1 to 200, Aa to Zz without anybody assistance. She does her H/W alone, can read and spell two letter words. She sings a lot. I wanted her to play at least one musical instrument b4 she turns 5.

Two yrs ago, I had this vision of grooming "exceptionally intelligent" kids btw 9-12yrs to study outside their normal school curriculum. I mean a 9yr old kid in JS1 answering physics and advance maths question. Am still working on it. But my child is just 3yrs old and i am begining to be afraid. Married with two kids, an average of 30k monthly income as a private school teacher, I think, I lack the financial resources to push my daughter to where she deserves.

I need proper advice on how to guide her now.
Nurture it. Let her learn languages and musical instruments.

I do not know what parent will invest so much educating a child abroad, only for the child to come back home to be hitting on a girl under your roof. Yet you are handling the matter with kids gloves.

I am bringing this topic here to see if I can get any good advise from youths of the same generation.

My son returned from schooling abroad two years ago and after completing his NYSC, has been trying to get a job. None has been forthcoming but he tries to keep occupied, trying his hands on different projects. He still lives at home but says that once he is financially stable, he will get his own apartment and move out.

He is generally a calm, law abiding , likeable gentleman until when he recently started bringing home this girl who dresses like a prostitute and who I discovered stays overnight in his room with him. His dad and I have fought him over this subject to no avail. I confronted the girl to tell her I do not feel comfortable with her sleeping overnight in my house especially since I do not know her family and will be held responsible if anything happens to her. She apologized to me and promised not to come to sleep over again. However, I noticed that after that, he started sneaking her in at late hours of the night when he thinks we have gone to bed, sometimes when it is past midnight. He hasn't introduced the girl to us as anything to him even though I have asked him several times what his intentions with this girl is but he will just say she is a friend that makes him happy- that's all.

He told his uncle that he likes the girl. I don't even know what else to do. I have tried talking to him, reasoning with him, but it all falls on his deaf ears. I do not like this girl at all. She comes across to me as a street girl- even though she is generally polite when she meets me at home anytime she comes during the day. I investigated and found out her work place is not far from our house. What I do not like about her is that she dresses, exposing delicate parts of her body and is a chain smoker.

Furthermore, to me, a girl who sleeps out in a mans' parent house, continually disregarding how his parents feel about it, cannot be good news. Once, I caught her almost naked in the night walking along the corridor leading to my sons room. She ran inside his room when she saw me. I was so embarrassed and wondered what if my husband had been the one who ran into her? What kind of thing is this? Only her pant on, breasts bare. It was the following day I traced her to her work place and gently but sharply and firmly told her I do not permit her to sleep over in my house again. His dad also spoke with him. I also spoke to him. Everything has been to no avail.

He still sneaks her in. Or did she jazz him?, Please advise me. Thanks.
Sorry to say this, but you have failed as parents.

Mind your business. Your son is matured enough to chose who to love. Isn't it better you try to know the lady better than just portray her as a prostitute?
Then he should move the hell out of his Mama's house.

I can't understand how people want to enjoy life without the accompanying responsibilities that go with it.

A lizard in Nigeria will not become a crocodile in London. If you are facing these things in Nigeria, you will face worse abroad. Life abroad is for those who are educated not just with a paper, but with skills. Not just any skill, but 21st century skills. Clearly you do not have these. I will advise you to stay back and improve yourself.
TravelRe: Best Countries To Survive Global Apocalypse(Pix) by staga: 8:49pm On Oct 10, 2021
During an apocalypse, there will be a total collapse of modern technology, economy and governance. There will be no mobile phones, electricity, internet, money use, etc. It will be basic survival.

At that time, food and housing are the only things that matter. If you do not have agric land you are prepping in case of those times, I am truly sorry for you.

Read Revelation 13 and 14 and see the sequence of events. The mark of the beast must appear before the angel that will reap the earth in Revelation 14 verse 16 (the rapture) will appear to do his work, before the destruction of those who took the mark starts from verse 15. I seriously doubt Christians will be raptured out before the new world order is rolled out. It is already occurring in the West. People are being denied of their jobs and livelihood until they show evidence of the vaccination card.

The next phase is to show the mark before you can buy, sell, hold employment or pay for anything in this world. Then, people will know money will become useless. All the moves towards digital currency by central banks is all part of the gameplan.

If you do not already have one, buy 2 plots of land somewhere off the towns. Use one plot to grow vegetables, then grow cassava, plantain and rice for carbohydrates. Keep chickens to provide meat and eggs for protein. Plant a palm tree to give you palm oil. Buy seasonings and condiments in bulk and store them properly. Get a borehole. Get electricity off grid using solar panels. There are loads of YouTube videos showing people already doing this around the world.

TravelRe: Advise: Relocating To Ghana by staga: 10:47pm On Oct 08, 2021

The best route is via London Heathrow using Virgin or BA. This requires your guy to fly ASKY airlines to Kotoka airport Accra, and from there to LHR, or for him to fly to Lagos and from there to BGI via LHR.

I preferred BA because the DTAS visa procedure is much more straightforward. Virgin has overnight layover, which requires you to apply for the other type of transit visa which comes with the fear of you leaving the airport and disappearing, so the approval rate of that visa is lower.

Another route is via Istanbul, to New York or Boston. However, the US just banned flights to and from Barbados because of rising COVID cases here. Moreover, that route will not keep you in the 72 hour window between the pre-departure COVID test and your touchdown in Bridgetown Airport.

I cannot advise on any other routes involving Copa airlines or transit via St. Lucia.

Hi guys, please I need advise on if I should take the step or not.

We all know the difficulties we are facing in this country, the country is not helping the youth with vision to grow. Expecially, we into entrepreneurship.

I have it in mind to relocate to Ghana to start life, I'm just tired of this country.

Please if you are a Nigerian and living in Ghana please let me know how life is over there. I own a business, and it's 100% online, but the amount I spend on petrol daily is nothing to write home about.

Please let me know if relocating to Ghana is a good idea, let me know the country's economy, electricity and accomodations rates there

Thanks!
Lived there two years before I entered Barbados on the Welcome Stamp. If you can keep your head low, you will enjoy the place. Prepare for wahala with house agents. The police there are not an issue. They can be "reasoned with", if you know what I mean. There is bias against Naija people but it is covert and harmless. Since you earn online, enter there with the 60 days visa. Before it expires, go to their immigration headquarters and get an extension. Make friends with one or two of the ogas and let them put you through on how to legalise your stay permanently.

What is the problem with these players sef

Mendy of manchester city

Adam Johnson too
Adam Johnson had consensual sex with the girl involved and did not know she was underaged because she was physically mature. Etim Esin had the same problem. If he every enters Europe, he will be picked up to serve his 2 years sentence.

Mendy's case was that of not taking precautions. You can have sex with a white lady and tomorrow she will accuse you of rape. The guy will be arrested immediately. If your body brushes against a woman mistakenly, she can accuse you of sexual assault.

Don't forget our own Isaac Success wey go carry ashawo. The woman accused him of rape. He was lucky to get off the hook.

Good afternoon guys, so straight to the point guys.

I met this girl few months ago and we started talking, ended up asking her out, we started dating, at that time she told me she was single, honestly me too I was.

Fast forward to somedays back, she came to visit and we were cool and all suddenly she started having mood swings and all, I was worried, kept asking what is wrong and she always said nothing, surprisingly someone texted me on whatsapp and was telling me that she was dating her and many other talks, that night i almost had an heart attack. I was beyond surprised till now I am yet to recover from the shock.

When I asked her about the guy she first said that she doesn’t have any other person, when she knew it was very serious she then opened up to me, and told me she and the guy had issues and he broke up with her and that now the guy wants them to come back. I saw her chat with the guy, telling the guy she loves him and will never stop loving him bla bla and telling another person that she misses him but she has decided to stick with me because I've shown her so much love that no one has ever done, and honestly i love 10000%. I treat her like a queen.

Right now i am confused, i asked her now what do you want and she said she wants me, but then she still keeps communicating with the guy and the guy is in same state with her while me i'm far away from her, i don’t even know what do i'm so depressed i have never loved like this before and this is what is getting to me. I can’t even eat or sleep when i remember all of it, i confused if she wants me really or she’s just considering the fact that i'm wealthy.

Guys please constructive criticism are welcomed, please i need advice on what to do I’m madly confused.
Congrats, you have been appointed as the Assistant Boyfriend.

And what are they doing about the situation? So is it the Frontiers (Nigerian-owned covid testers) people who are faking some of the results? Im getting the impression that some countries/people are deliberately "cashing in" on this covid thing to enrich their pockets/economies.

In the case of Ghana maybe if there're no "fake" covid results some of these hotels won't get clients? I don't know

Your points appear moot.
OP complained about non-flushing toilets and dry taps in our airport restrooms.

The glitch was temporary and has already been resolved.

Have the broken toilets at our airports been restored?
Now listen. I don't want to stretch this talk. I travel a lot through ABV. That woman is exaggerating. There are definitely more than two toilets there. If two were not flushing, she could have used others. On my last foreign travel, one of the toilets in LHR Terminal 5 was not flushing.

I no wan talk too much. Many of you think the grass is very green abroad. Perish that thought. Even China that generates 1200 GIGAWATTS of electricity is currently having blackouts.
TravelRe: My Experience At The Abuja International Airport Today by staga: 3:59pm On Oct 03, 2021
balmofgilead:
My flight from the UK into Abuja was partially smooth seeing as it had rained and the flight was a bit shaky. Thanks to God we arrived safely, disembarked from the plane and entered into the newly renovated Abuja airport. I came in with my fiance who is cameroonian and he was already filled with praise for how beautiful the Abuja airport is. In my mind I was like lets not be hasty with our compliments. Is it not my beloved country Nigeria again?

We lined up at the border control and as expected begging ensued. The official who was clearing me held my passport, telling me that he was soon going home and that my fiance should come and release me o. I was weak. Forced bribery in daylight. We went further to baggage claim begging continued. We proceeded to final exit, and we were ready for more begging and we were not disappointed.

Meanwhile the redundancy of most Nigerian procedures was once again made manifest in the fact that we earlier filled what is called a passenger health declaration and screening form online only to be told again to fill it manually. Deep sigh. Also, the Nigerian policy of paying and re-taking another covid test 7 days into your stay, could not be more of an inconvenience to travellers, only to be topped with the mandate that the covid test must be paid for upon entry.

The Nigerian hospital we had booked the 7 day covid test told us that we could pay when we come to take the test at the hospital only for the airport health officials to insist that we pay before we were allowed to pass through. That's how at 5am we started calling family members to help us with payments using a Nigerian card. Thankfully the payment on the NITP website was relatively easy I must say.

Ok, I now said let me use the toilet in our beautiful airport and like i said earlier let us not compliment too fast. The two toilet cubicles in that section of the airport was not flushing and was messed up with the unimaginable. I shook my head. Going to wash my hands, water was also not coming through. Hand sanitizer, nowhere to be found and we want to kick Covid. I laugh in Chinese.

Are the elevators and escalators in this renovated airport working, you ask? What do you think? Na so so trolley we dey push up and down. The saying what is worth doing is worth doing well could not be more befitting for the renovation at the Abuja airport. The staff of FAAN should also be rehabilitated. No more begging naw!! Professionalism should be the watch word. Let's become serious, so that the world can take us seriously. Thank you.
Madam, do not be so hard on Nigeria. Granted, the number of sanitizing points have diminished but they are still there.

I passed through London Heathrow recently and there was nothing like social distance anywhere. I was not even impressed with the standard of the toilets. Imagine brushing in the morning and hearing Asians and Caucasians grunting all around as they are pooing. Not fun as well.
I am sure you must have also heard of the glitch that occurred which did not allow for scanning of the boarding passes. I can tell you that the Blaise Diagne airport toilets are far better than LHR and ABV.

The only problem we have in ABV is the beggarly attitude of the screening staff, porters and attendants.
The immigration and DSS guys there are very professional. I have never been asked for money or for gifts at any point by them.
