bizme: Allow me to disagree with you on this. If we are to look at it objectively the oyibos have much better society using both economic and morality parameters to judge. So if we copy the good aspects of their life, it wouldn't be a bad idea at all.
Secondly, I don't think immorality is increasing everyday in our society like you have put it. Instead the ready access to the internet makes it easy for us to learn about things we wouldn't otherwise have known. Neither do I believe that this generation is worse than the previous. Our fathers and mothers and people before them were part of equally immoral generation, they simply like to be hypocritical when talking about the younger generation. Just like many of us might also feel like telling our kids that their generation is unnecessarily permissive morally speaking. It is all a lie. Our parents did their own kind of atrocities in their time, they were not saints.
Back to the oyibos, without flogging kids they somehow manage to produce more empathic and more human human beings that build the society. We continue to lay claim on a higher morality in our society yet we keep churning out terrorists, yahoo-yahoo, and corrupt individuals year in year out. It isn't a bad idea to copy their style of raising up kids. What world are you living in? |

Odewaleadesoye: With all sincerity my people, Nigeria has 3 major problems which need urgent attention. The problems are:
1. Religion: Before the introduction of either Christianity or Islam, Nigeria was busy and no worshipper of Sango would go to the house of Ogun worshipper to canvass his own belief to him. Everyone worshipped his or her own god gently and there was peace almost everywhere. Immediately Christianity and Islamic religions set in, things started going upside down. Christians won't want to see Muslims and vice versa.
Sometimes I wonder the essence of these religions.
2. Ethnicity: Another maggot that is eating this country up is Ethnicity.. I'm Yorùbá, you're Igbo and they are Haúsá. This is so serious in our country and the rate at which it's destroying this country is alarming.
3. Corruption: You'all should understand this. We are in deep mess because of this problem.
If Nigeria should tackle these 3 problems, trust me, this country will emerge the best in the world.
I don't have anything to say on his release for now.
ODEWALE ADESOYE Can you explicitly tell us how "tackling these three problems" => Nigeria being the best in the world? I am confused. How do we start from point A to get to Point B? |

God stunned me heavily this year.
I came back from abroad after some colossal business expenditure for expansion with only N12,000 in my bank account. The year had started slowly (as if a foreboding of things to come) and as I hit NAIA in February, we were already being asked to fill health forms and I was heavily worried. Thank God I came back when I did or I would have been trapped by the airport closures.
Before long, lockdown came and all our locations were forced to close till June. But God expanded my online work heavily. Even our offline business recovered and grossed in 6 months what we grossed in 2018 and 2019 combined.
Most importantly, me and my entire family are in sound health. We buried no one this year. |

As the man of the house, is it everything that you tell your family? Even when telling your wife, do you give all the details? Did Abraham tell Sarah God asked him to sacrifice her only son of old age Isaac? If he did, would she have been able to handle it? Even if God had broadcast it to the whole world, the world would have laughed it off in mockery. |

2 Kings 4 v 26-27
"Please run out now to meet her and ask, ‘Are you all right? Is your husband all right? Is your child all right?’ ” And she answered, “Everything is all right.” 27When she reached the man of God at the mountain, she clung to his feet. Gehazi came over to push her away, but the man of God said, “Leave her alone, for her soul is in deep distress, and the LORD has hidden it from me and has not told me.”
This was Elisha, who said: "by this time tomorrow... in 2 Kings 7 verse 1.
The same Elisha whom the king of Syria was told that God used to reveal to him the things the King said to himself in his bed chamber. (2 Kings 6 v 12).
God is the Alpha and Omega. It is He who decides what He reveals to His servants and to His people. He allowed the pandemic so everyone in the world, including Christians can consider their ways and re-order their priorities.
Revelations 16 and 2 Peter 3 v 10 speak of more trouble coming as Christ's return becomes imminent. We must reset our ways and follow Him and draw near to Him so we can hear expressly what the Holy Spirit is saying in the last days because more perilous times will come. |

Business › Re: I Feel Sad & Fed Up, Lost Funds Unnecessarily In December #payoneer, Upwork by staga: 12:48pm On Dec 31, 2020 |
KushCollectible: Here goes the story.
I freelance on upwork on a part time and make small change. I luckily secured my highest paid project for 2500 dollars some months ago. I was so happy and worked hard at it for 2 months. I finally finished the project and the client played. I decided to get a land from the fund so as to have something tangible from my freelance funds.
I spoke to a trusted adviser about the land and he was able to find one for me at a good location for 700k. I wanted to withdraw the funds using payoneer and a trusted exchanger so as to get a better rate of 450 naira per dollar (making about 900,000). Note that this isn't my first time using that option, I tried it once before and it worked seamlessly.
My mind didn't transfer the whole funds so I sent in half of the amount to my payooner on December 3rd. I noticed the fund was placed on pending, so I thought it was network or something. Days later I got a message from payoneer that I Need to verify my account and my USD account is blocked until then. I sent in a picture of me holding my international passport as well as other stuffs. Since then I've sent countless message , emails, calls, tweets but they didn't approve the funds. When I went on Twitter I saw tweets from a lot of people experiencing same even for longer than I have. Funny thing Is those that protested too much had their whole account closed. I've been frustrated since then.
So this evening I saw the advisor on the land stuff and I explained to him. He told me he got other option in another location that was cheaper about 500k. This area wasn't as developed as the first one but I decided to go for it just to have an asset to show for my efforts. And also so i could take solace in that and try to close my mind off the funds from payoneer. So I spoke with the exchanger if he could help me withdraw the remaining balance with his payoneer account direct from Upwork so I could take advantage of the higher exchange rate. I figured if I could get about 450k I would add 50k of my personal money to get it.
So I logged into my upwork to set it up only to see balance as 0.00. Alas I had forgotten that I set up scheduled payment for last Wednesday of each month when balance was over 1000 USD. I only put that in when setting up my upwork account because I never thought I could possibly have over 1000USD at the end of each month. So the money was processed to my GTB automatically this morning at their sh*tty exchange rate. Today of all days! Just because I was one day late I ended up loosing a potential 100,000 naira. Funny thing Is the funds hasn't landed To my GTB account yet.
Now its like im back to square one with funds that cant cover what i need it for. That's my present predicament. This may be partly your fault. Payoneer had sent a notice of the change from Wirecard to its own in-house payment processor and had asked all account owners to submit their verification documents SIX WEEKS before the November deadline or lose their accounts permanently. I did so and mine was approved without hitches. You probably waited until the last week to do yours, or probably you did not even meet the deadline. There is always a last minute rush and you must have been caught up by it along with millions of others who also waited to the last minute. Also, you need to stop using exchangers. This is now being cracked down on from source. |

I'm planning to stop asking her for sex forever. I'm a playful somebody and she tries to avoid me playing with her.
Is it the childbirth that caused this? Do you want her womb to tear? U guys should see your doctor to allay whatever fears she has. It may be due to the cs she had. |

Taught me as a Christian that all the prayers we pray regarding physical blessings are all vanity. I have cars. I did not even warm any of them throughout last week. I have lands...no project on them now. I have clothes. Na only 1 tracksuit and T-Shirt I don dey rock since. Money in the bank. What am I buying this period? Easter travel to Europe I planned with wifey...gone bust. All the money spent on suya, shawarma, joints, etc..they are all closed.
We have all been levelled out. All my friends who are abroad are all lamenting. Some of my clients are sick with the virus. One that stays in UK has been down for 24 days and was practically asking me what we are using to treat our people here that is making our death rates so low compared with their country so she can look for it. That her doctors are all clueless as to how to help.
It is terrible but we thank God for mercy. |

Jeromejnr: I have been seeing some deluded Athiest on here bashing religion and saying things like all religions (especially Christianity) are waiting for scientists to find a cure then they will thank God instead of the scientists.
First of all, many of those scientists are Christian's.
Secondly, most of the drugs you enjoy today were discovered by Christians e.g. Penicillin.
Thirdly, Hospitals were first founded by Christians.
Fourthly, United States were most of these cures come from was founded by strong Christian fathers who gave the country a good foundation.
Lastly, Athiests enjoy the benefits of Christian prayers today (although they don't know it). Because of this, most of them are still alive. But with that same breath, they choose to curse God.
So the question is, what has Athiesm contributed to the world? Nada, except their continuous noisemaking. They forget that the mechanism of immune response was a mechanism designed by God Almighty when animals and humans were created. He even gave rules as to what we should eat and avoid, but the Chinese people no dey hear word. Their love for shark fin soup, ivory, rhino horn and other exotic stuff is creating poaching, extinction and new diseases. All the new diseases of the last 20 years, from avian influenza to this new one all originated in China. Ah ah! |

I have a burning feeling that if adequate testing is being done, then we would have a different statistics. It is possible to contract the virus without manifesting symptoms. So what criteria is being adopted for the so-called tests that is yielding the results on hand so far? Brother, there is a shortage of test kits, even in America. They are being reserved for only those showing symptoms. We all know the case count is actually higher than reported. |
