PassingShot:Your argument is highly flawed. The northerm man sells his product by himself and keeps the proceed to himself without being taxed. If tomatoes ebola is ravaging the north then it affects the farmer just as it affects the buyers from south. If the northerm man pays tax, sets his price by himself then he should leave the oil money alone and allow the oil people pay tax to the FG and come to tomato market with their money. That way, the market forces dictates who is relevant to the 'other' and who isn't. |

AnotherSeun:How? If the study was done well then fine. |
Black on black cruelty. I suspect some law enforcing people go through some process(es) that pass(es) that spirit behind cruelty into them. How they adapt to killing without having kill during training might just explain their perspective and mindset. |
Instead of lowering what the ND contributes, why not raise what others contribute? Imagine Osun n Kaduna bring gold, Ondo and Lagos bringing bitumen and oil. And the northern states to bringing in lead, tin, iron ore and copper. |
Fake threat. Return what you stole, do about 24-30 months and go back to your wives and children. |
Everybody wants bail out. I hope they don't give the banks bail out funds. They 've been thriving based on easy oil money and a corrupt system for too long. Let them give reasonable loan to farmers, manufactures and artisans who are bedrock of productive economy and not 'general supplies' contractors who import things at exurbitant rate, thereby sending our capital to foreign land and shrinking the volume of money available to go round within. Some commercial banks may need to go the Microfinance way and grow into commercial bank again. The false prosperity inspired by easy oil money in a corrupt system isn't a sure bet for banks. |
How trve is this news? I hope it is true n that Buhari govt goes after them fully. |
OP please include the east. It will help your thread make much more sense. Aregbe can confidently sit down and borrow so much because the people on whose behalf he is borrowing aren't paying with their sweat. They feel no sense of indebtedness and thus allow governors mismanage allocations. |
The indebtedness level of Osun is partially reflective of mismanagement of school systems islamizatiom. Why run Christian sch when you can't pay workers of the remaining schools? |

Did they also force you n your party to share the FG's allocation of the excess oil fund? Scam man. I am sure he has hand in NDA and other groups. |

ISIS has killed 38 of its own members amid a hunt for spies in the group The US-led coalition has had success with drone striking ISIS leadership The US coalition has killed the ISIS 'minister for war' Omar al-Shishani ISIS commanders are killing their fighters by dropping them in vats of acid as the terror group searches for spies who are passing information to the US military. The terror group has lost several senior members to drone strikes in recent months prompting the major security review. In March, a senior commander with ISIS was driving through northern Syria on orders to lead militants in the fighting there when a drone blasted his vehicle to oblivion. Scroll down for video The killing of Abu Hayjaa al-Tunsi, a Tunisian jihadi, sparked a panicked hunt within the group's ranks for spies who could have tipped off the U.S-led coalition about his closely guarded movements. By the time it was over, the group would kill 38 of its own members on suspicion of acting as informants. They were among dozens of ISIS members killed by their own leadership in recent months in a vicious purge after a string of airstrikes killed prominent figures. Others have disappeared into prisons and still more have fled, fearing they could be next as the jihadi group turns on itself in the hunt for moles, according to Syrian opposition activists, Kurdish militia commanders, several Iraqi intelligence officials and an informant for the Iraqi government who worked within ISIS ranks. The fear of informants has fueled paranoia among the militants' ranks. A mobile phone or internet connection can raise suspicions. As a warning to others, ISIS has displayed the bodies of some suspected spies in public — or used particularly gruesome methods, including reportedly dropping some into a vat of acid. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/06/05/19/F4Fm0B87Yf42da652fa043a6cef-0-The_terror_group_fears_its_leaders_are_being_betrayed_and_set_up-a-2_1465150299425.jpg ISIS 'commanders don't dare come from Iraq to Syria because they are being liquidated' by airstrikes, said Bebars al-Talawy, an opposition activist in Syria who monitors the jihadi group. Over the past months, American officials have said that the U.S. has killed a string of top commanders from the group, including its 'minister of war' Omar al-Shishani, feared Iraqi militant Shaker Wuhayeb, also known as Abu Wahib, as well as a top finance official known by several names, including Haji Iman, Abu Alaa al-Afari or Abu Ali Al-Anbari. In the northern Iraqi city of Mosul, the biggest city held by ISIS across its 'caliphate' stretching across Syria and Iraq, a succession of militants who held the post of 'wali,' or governor, in the province have died in airstrikes. As a result, those appointed to governor posts have asked not to be identified and they limit their movements, the Iraqi informant told The Associated Press. Iraqi intelligence officials allowed the AP to speak by phone with the informant, who spoke on condition of anonymity, fearing for his life. The purge comes at a time when ISIS has lost ground in both Syria and Iraq. An Iraqi government offensive recaptured the western city of Ramadi from ISIS earlier this year, and another mission is underway to retake the nearby city of Fallujah. Rami Abdurrahman, who heads the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said some IS fighters began feeding information to the coalition about targets and movements of the group's officials because they needed money after the extremist group sharply reduced salaries in the wake of coalition and Russian airstrikes on ISIS-held oil facilities earlier this year. The damage and the loss of important ISIS-held supply routes into Turkey have reportedly hurt the group's financing. 'They have executed dozens of fighters on charges of giving information to the coalition or putting (GPS) chips in order for the aircraft to strike at a specific area,' said Abdurrahman, referring to ISIS in Syria. The militants have responded with methods of their own for rooting out spies, said the informant. For example, they have fed false information to a suspect member about the movements of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and if an airstrike follows on the alleged location, they know the suspect is a spy, he said. They stop fighters in the street and inspect their mobile phones, sometimes making the fighter call any unusual numbers in front of them to see who they are. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/06/05/article-urn:publicid:ap.org:98512c11bc72441c95f5a6657837d9ca-F4Fm0B87Yf42da652fa043a6ccc-516_634x457.jpgThe US coalition has killed the ISIS 'minister for war' Omar al-Shishani, pictured, in a targeted air strike Source |
naijaking1:The discussion is about GEJ and not Buhari. How come a relatively healthy economy failed after injection fo record oil windfall coupled with good economic policies? I expect more from the proponents of GEJ being a hero. |
Religion of peace that leaves men in pieces. |
deji68:It Fell? Please how? My maiin point here is the economy even moving in the downward direction when there was Good policies n excess crude fund. Please let's try and focus on that and not on Buhari admin, I can do a whole thread for that. |
deji68:You don't need to post n run away. If there r positives and the economy was failing then what does it say about GEJ govt as a whole? Say it the way it is brother. |
deji68:Given the fact that the economy nose-dived towards the end of his tenure, could these points of yours be valid as positives? It sounds like an indictment of GEJ admin. |
@psucc, i am here to know where is good policies worked n not to just acknowledge them. |
mikolo80:I know for every cool headed Nairalander, there are 10 cyber touts so I am ready to wait till the 11 th reply to get the education I came here for. |
Please, matured replies please no need for insults, just educate a brother. |
