So tomatoes, onions & the likes will provide enough money to pay civil servants, build roads & flyovers, import cars, petroleum products etc. Why are they not exporting now? The 10% are even the ones feeding the poor talakawas & almajiris. How big is your IGR which is a pointer to how big your GDP is. The North is simply a baggage of liability weighing us down!
Your ignorance is frigthening. With the rate oil earning is going down the north has it most critical needs met. The south has oil of which, when sold can't handle their feeding as well as the North can feed themselve. Before oil came didn't we tar roads, buy cars, build house and had more food? Oil can dry up anytime. Use ur mind and stop seeing the south as a source.

MrEverest:
You still do not get it, what is the value of their economy without oil proceeds? have you seen how most parts of Nigeria became grounded just because of reduction in allocation & what do you think will happen to the northern economy the moment allocation entirely stops going to them?? How successful are countries like Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Mauritania, CAR etc that lie approx on the same lattitude with Northern Nigeria?? The South will have more oil income to go round & remember that ECOWAS made free movement of goods posible which means that Northerners will still try to bring their goods down here to make more profit. U guys should be grateful to the South!!!
You are the one not getting it here, you are talking of the 10% who depend on direct earning by relation or self from the government. They are mostly farmers and artisans and engage in production of things that are most crucial to survival. Without patronage from oil money they could have exported their product to Europe and Asia. The North is easily 10 times better than the south.

MrEverest:
There is something you dont understand, a huge fraction of the tomatoes, onions, cabbage etc grown in the North gets spoilt before they are consumed because of glut during peak production, that farmers in the North are able to make optimal profit is because of the demand from the South! The moment South stops buying, a lot of farmers in the north will either liquidate due to losses or they will significantly scale down on production to minimize losses. They dont even have storage facilities to preserve them, its even one Igbo man that built the largest tomato paste factory in SSA here in Lagos to help them market their products!!
so if the south stop buying the north minimizes its losses first before any other thing. That makes them secure in terms of feeding themselve. Can you say same of the south whose scarce or non-existing fund will be glaring. As long as you buy from them you are dependent on them more. Fact!

If North goes today, even with that food they have, they will suffer starvation. Why do northerners themselves starve, anyone who has been there know theres something called suffering.

Cant even to analyse this mans nonesense.
Going by the bold parts up there, how will they suffer starvation if they already food in excess? Is It your imaginary oil and its 'imaginary' value that's best imagined you want to trade in exchange for food? Stop being delusional man.

War against corruption will always look like witch-hunt. The opposition was in power and naturally will account for 95% of catchable looters. Don't forget Tinubu experience under GEJ.

6. Forex issue for Nigerian students studying abroad: Buhari said foreign exchange will not be made available for students studying abroad, and those who cannot afford it should come and continue their education in Nigeria. Reminded that his own children are studying abroad, the president said it was because he could afford it.
If you need dollars go earn it. The FG is virtually the only one earning dollars has been giving it out at controlled rate since. With the FG's Dollar source running low it has to chose whether to pay its workers, serve 170 million people or to import toothpick and help foreign students pay school fees and live large. The masses understand this and aren't bitter about Buhari's choice.

4. Continuous decline in the nation’s economy: The exchange rate of the naira against the US dollar has been unstable. This has affected the price of consumer goods, plunging the people into more hardship.
The economy isn't Buhari fault and Many people out there know and are still discovering the economy is, atleast 88%, in their hands and the state governments' hands. As oil earning keeps reducing the state are suppose to come out with aggresive innitiatives to boost exports and earn dollar to help support forex and pay tax, but they only good at phantom projects from oil allocation and increasing recurrent expense to help boost looting margin. Good example is Fashola and Uduaghan. One awarded borehole, website and flower project out at over 1500% their regular cost and the other used signboard to siphon billions of Naira via IPP and airport. So u have a system with no investment and control. If at $108pb the borders are porous, no investments were made and 70% of earning went into salaries and recurrent bills then at $38pb Nigerians understand are and ready to wait 100 years for Buhari. Buhari has performed for even paying salary.

3. Poor power supply: The electricity generation profile in the country has continued to drop, and the Nigerians are not happy about it.
Given the history of power supply apparatus vandalism that wont go away anytime soon, Buhari may incure the wrath of few not-so-understanding citizens. Majority understand power isn't flower as regards Fashola being the minister, but the Buhari has shown that he is capable of getting results out of more criminally-minded 'technocrats'. Power will surely improve and So Buhari is on the right track and the Majority who voted him are still behind him and will still grow in size.

2. Persistent fuel scarcity: The people have been complaining about the difficulty in getting petrol. Black marketers are taking advantage of the non-availability of the product and the long queues at the petrol stations to sell at exorbitant prices.

You are free to add yours..gringrin
You already justified the fuel scarcity when you admimt that the Fuel is in the black market. It is only being hoarded by opposition loyalist who have over time grown used to having billion of easy oil profit and loots. It may take time for Buhari, Kemi, Kachikwu to purge such a system, but i guaranty you it won't go for even up to four years the past President admitted is not enough for him.
With this in mind, Buhari is on the right track and the Majority who voted him are still behind him and shall continue growing in size.

10 reasons Buhari's popularity is dropping drastically Nkem Ikeke Yesterday 1051
[/size]
Nkem Ikeke
No doubt, President Muhamadu Buhari’s popularity is gradually dropping following the various challenges the nation is facing. The people had high hopes and expectations from the Buhari administration and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). They believed in the APC’s ‘Change’ mantra and were very optimistic things were going to get better. Immediately after Buhari was sworn in May 29, Nigerians were happy with the improvement in power supply and they attributed it to the body language of Buhari. Anybody who tried to criticise the president was referred to as the ‘wailing wailers’. Ten months down the line, the people who were chanting ‘Sai Buhari’ have made a U-turn and are now losing hope in the ability of the president to save the country. This could be as a result of fuel scarcity, poor power supply, the fall in the value of the naira, among other issues. Below are reasons why President Buhari is currently losing his popularity among Nigerians.
1. His frequent foreign trips: Buhari has traveled to more than 20 countries since he was sworn in and he has been given the name ‘Wakawaka Buhari’. Some called him the ‘Junketer-In-Chief’.
[/b]
Lame. This travel excuse is at the best Lame. Buhari's foreign trips has, among others, greatly reduce the incidence of fleeing BH member using Cameroun, Niger, and Chad as a safe heaven from military onslaught and in planning attack. Also he has to heal the wound in our relationship with countries like Morrocco whose King was technically insulted under the ineffectuals. Even with the above stated reasons travelling under OBJ was far more than this. So Buhari is on the right track and the Majority who voted him are still behind him and even growing in size.

If the attempt at rigging and skewing public perception couldn't work for PDP even in addition to Billions of dollars thrown at it, i wonder how it will ever help bring them back. Just yesterday(few hour ago) we saw ho GEJ declared that Four years isn't enough to fix Nigeria with oil selling at $108 pb. I wonder how they expect Buhari to fix the economy with oil at ~$35pb.
The moment phony prophets who couldn't accurate predict the downfall of PDP started tell us Nigerians are very impatient and blah blah blah . . . I knew the daft plan of the relatively broke largest opposition party in Africa was to post silly videos like this.
