Longeria: Dear governor

................... Good morning sir.
I say good morning to you even when it's after noon, because your own day is just breaking. To be sincere, your administration proved that young people can perform administratively. How the success got to your head to the extent of insulting the president, I don't know. Did you Still remember how you tongue washed him at Vanguard newspaper award ceremony? Can you tolerate that from LGA chairman? As you're the leader of PDP in rivers state, so the president to the Nation. You know how you manhandled those who disobeyed your orders, how you expect to be pampered by the president for disobeying him by contesting NGF CHAIRMANSHIP, I don't know. Bible said, obedience is better than sacrifice, but you prefer to disobey now your sacrifice resign. See, when war is declared, two things are involved, either you kill or you're killed. Like a broken glass, the trust Jonathan have for you can never be amended, and those who urged you to fight him are now making peace with him. Your denial of not having a Presidential ambition is like crying after the head is off. Put on your thinking cap and........
THINK.
LONGERIA
Portharcourt
So GEj is also the President of NGF in your sweet logic?

Mr O P, by helping them realize all their problem does not start and end with the fact that people of other ethnic group are in power or rule over them directly and indirectly.
Politics › Re: Photo Punch Headline : Day Elrufai Visited GEJ Urging Him To Contest by Standing5(m): 1:49pm On Aug 15, 2013
The Picture Mr OP used says this:
Mallam Nasir El Rufai, on Tuesday said President Goodluck Jonathan was free to vie for president in the 2011 elections, despite the zoning arrangement of the Peoples Democratic Party.

El Rufai spoke to journalist at the state House while reacting . . .
Did he urge him to contest or imply he can contest in the face of Zoning arrangement within PDP? You are not serious Mr OP.
He might have supported the struggle that paved way for Jonathan to stop reading Turai's Complete Sport and become President, but can now see clearly what Jonathan represents.
Politics › Re: Nine PDP Governors. Float New Party, Apply For Registration. by Standing5(m): 8:37am On Aug 15, 2013
ojubi: At first they claimed they were saving Nigeria's democracy, now we know why.
But if this selfish ambition is achieved then GEJ would have a very easy ride to 2019 cos the new party ll divide northern votes with APC,
While halve of northern votes will still go to GEJ, in addition to block vote from SS, NE, MD, and half votes from SW. As for Ameachi this party will lost in his father's compound.
So thank you 5 governors and PPM.
How is the bold part above possible when all the governors involved in this move are currently with PDP? Abrakadaba Logic!
They will be splitting PDP votes than that of any other party.

rbjimoh: . I'm not a christian, so pls pardon my incursion. But if not crimal connivance, where else do you espect a colonel in the army to have gotten a hundred million naira from which he paid 10m as tithe other than rubbery? You well know that even a general in the army may never have earn 100m throughout his service.
You would av made a valid point if Winners Ota was one of the below-1000-members-a-week churches, go ask very well, there are well acomplished people(Doctors, rtd army Generals and more like that) who clean toilets and sweep.

Nashville: I do not believe in bashing churches but the truth is that in Nigeria of today, if a church should receive a cheque for anytime more than 5 million, they should at least try and verify the source. The name of the account holder will be on the cheque and I am sure the person will be prominent in the church. Nothing stops them from asking in confidence what the source of money is. If someone pays tithe of 5 million then the person made 50 million. That is a lot of money for a Colonel. Its not nice to keep hearing these kind of stories about churches.
The truth is 11 million is no big deal in winners, Otta. Even if the church were to ask for the source of the money i am sure he will come up with a 'Testimony' of "what God did".

mens dept: Lol!!!! Oyedepo is a fake pastor deceiving fools like yourself. Big deal my foot
I am not here to defend or oppose anyone but how is Oyedepo and those at winners chapel suppose to know that the payer of tithe did not obtain his money the right way. Some people shouting murder here will gladly market their products to anyone with money without questioning the source.

Pataki: You should be banned again for derailing this thread. Since you are bent on being a further nuisance, hope you smile more in the nairaland gallow ban.
That guy must be a classic mumu in the mumudom. He takes Nl so serious to the extent he is challenging a Moderator to produce health report of our president when he never produced a report of Jonathan as the governor of Bayelsa state. He even goes on to create an imaginary opposition team on NL to justify the blind & paid support him and his team has for Mr. Presido when we know fully well that there is no opposition team but a mediocre governance opposition. I challenge him (Sincere 9gerian) to produce the report card of Gej as a governor before i will take his attack of Fashola serious. If Gej with a very mean record as a governor could transform into their Messiah (Jesus on earth) from the total failure he was as governor , one is only left to wonder what Fashola will transform Nigeria into.

CyberG: LMAO! If he had used common sense to educate his people with $44 M it won't be such a waste! Why does he need a foreign fishing firm when the ND lives virtually by water? Is he going to teach his people how to fish with $44 M? LWKMD! grin grin grin And these are the kind of people we are forced to live in the same country with? I suggest you send the money to Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Osun at $ 11 M each! I bet they have pressing infrastructural projects, education programs that will appreciate it right away not glad handling the money to a foreign firm that will help you to catch fish inside water you lived by all your life or the now environmentally and oil polluted waters your governments have done nothing about!
Fish farm in Bayelsa . . . Lol, that's like building a biofuel structure next to a petroleum refinery. Next thing you know they will build a state physical cash vault at the cost of their 4 years allocation.
Politics › Re: Bayelsa State’s Governor Dickson In Questionable $44.1million Fishery Projects by Standing5(m): 4:30pm On Aug 08, 2013
ssii: This is how Nigerian money is being wasted! Bayelsa has nothing to show for all the allocations she gets, yet the Niger deltans are being made to believe that their underdevelopment is because of marginalization by the North or Southwest. The corruption and wastage in this country is just too much, and the government keeps on borrowing. We need to hold our leaders accountable for how they spend our common wealth.
Of course Hausas/fulanis and Yorubas are the problem. This the type of track record Jona made for himself before he was supported by his 'brothers' and elected to the Aso Rock.

Let them go try that in some southern states like Rivers, Delta, Part of Edo, Bayelsa and see if 30 % of that money wouldn't be used for community settlement before the impose their local labourers on them. Ogun deserves all what they are getting today.
