Billionaires: Wole Soyinka's IQ is only exemplary in literature. Outside literature, he is a thorough loser.
He worked hard to get to where he is today, and never had to pull nobody down. I think you should atleast accord him some respect for his works and stop saying trash on faceless online forum.

1) Please i want to know how flexible the shipping options are. Can i specify an address that's not Lagos i.e Asaba, Enugu or Jos and still get my orders delivered with such precision? If not what's the process of moving such goods like and or how far do the various shipping option go within Nigeria.

2) How reliable is Alieexpress generally speaking?

3) This one is more of a suggestion. Seeing that the thread, beginning from season 1 might be considered too long to go through why don't the Mods of this thread and section creates a list of FAQ and corresponding answers, and maybe post after every three pages of reply to reduce redundancy of questions and make the thread neater?

Sincere 9gerian: The exact cost of the Lagos-Abidjan road has not been determined. So the comparison for now is baseless. When the cost and design of the project is determined, then we can make sensible comparison
What about the east west road?

Politics › Re: Oando To Build N16bn IPPs For Lagos, Abuja Airports by Standing5(m): 2:37pm On Jul 15, 2013
"The IPP, when eventually ratified, would be powered by gas and the capacity would be 30 KVA for each of the airports and when completed the projects would be primary power supply to the airports while the present power project almost completed at the Lagos airport would provide secondary power supply during the maintenance of the IPP and other planned interruptions."

Just 30KVA? isn't that too small?

Thought an airport would need more power.
Just what i was thinking also. Except there would be no Air Conditioning units in those airports, i see little sense in the project.

Looking at the thread, another one quickly comes to mind for those of us (Beaf included) who were registered with NL then. It was the famous O-thread started by Gbawe. https://www.nairaland.com/933109/osun-kicks-off-n300m-hydro-power and quickly the derailed by the likes of Beaf/Wesley/Ejine/Rad1cal and co.

jagabanban: 10. World Wide Web
And finally, no-one would have stumbled across this list save for Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who created the web to help scientists working at the European research lab at Cern. He says the secret of the rapid success of his invention was the fact he made it freely available.

Not all inventors are driven to make money but some want to make a contribution to the "common good", says Dr Tilly Blyth, Keeper of Engineering and Technology at the Science Museum.

"We tend to focus on the commercial development but in fact its often public and government research that has got it to that stage," Dr Blyth says. "If you look at the iPhone you think it's a great invention from Steve Jobs and Apple but look at the vital components like the screen, the chip and the processor and their origins were all in government-funded research."

"A lot of the real cutting-edge research comes from the pure and blue sky thinking done in public research facilities for the good of humanity rather than to make money."

Politics › Re: Rising Oil Theft: So Why Was Tompolo Paid N15 Billion? by Standing5(m): 1:26pm On Jul 15, 2013
Gbawe: That is part of it. Most savvy analysts know that GEJ is trying to create a shift in the money/power order. He is attempting to do this with the underground looting of Nigeria. It is as simple as that. This is why we are seeing crazy decisions that are the real reason some world leaders have dumped diplomacy to say "haba, this is too much" !!!
Anyone who followed this Subsidy saga should remember the "Na our oyel" Punchline. No need decoding what has been decoded here many times. It is our turn, so they say, but let's watch how long it will last.

It is alleged that Soyinka made a third class while Gej has a PHD, but looking at their impact on the lives of the ordinary Nigerian, i am forced to ask the question Certificate or Productive effort/Goodluck which should be rewarded?

And why is PEJ the one to speak for Soyinka's admirers? The woman funny small sha!!! Now that it is clear that she, her husband and their co-travellers are fast losing popularity, they ve decided to speak up for Soyinka's admirers. They are simply afraid of the multitude who will applaud Soyinka's stance.

PointB: Seems to me that the writer has a very low self esteem - which he invariably projects unto others.

Hear him:

Imagine that coming from an African, and some people are falling head over heel to laud him, simply because he mentioned Patience and Jonathan in the megalomaniac write-up. Shame!
What you just displayed here almost mirror what the writer tried to address. Abracadaba logic that leeds to feeling of the kind inferiority that drive Patience Jonathan.
