https://www.nairaland.com/1129498/multi-billion-naira-ilorin-central#13350496 True topic, but i bet most don't know how wide and serious the effort to Islamise anything government is. |
Please i need to know, was this Mosque built by the government or by Private investors? If this was a Church, i doubt the thread will be this quite and sane as accusation of Pastors diverting Church money for flexing will be flying all around, but here we have the commonwealth of the Nation being used for the religion of some citizens. A case of that which has been entrusted to Caesar by all being used to Glorify other gods - if you ask me. |
ollah1: 1st to comment.. laaa laaa laaaaMade a Big fool of ya sef bros |
@OP, Is it a government built Mosque? |
Hi NLders, in the next couple of weeks a will be needing some form of online transaction (buying items and pay dollar through a Naira account) and i don't know which online payment platform to use. I already have a savings account with First Bank which i intended to use but from the little research i have carried out in my spare time (mostly Googling), their online payment service in nothing to write home about. Please i need your advice on which system/bank will help serve this purpose best. |

Registration is your right but diversion of your vote without your consent isn't right. "None of The Above" option or not? |
^^Lol. @Jarus, will nomination of a particular figure or event for Hall of Shame cancel out nomination of same for Hall of Fame? I am eager to know. |
If they do all of the above a competitive rate, i will gladly accept Tinubu or anything ACN as my Papa. |
Would have loved to split mine 50-50 between Gbawe and Katsumoto but for sake Nl rules, Katsumoto has it all. |
Some do Ifa, others do Opele, but you Musiwa do Satelite Imagery. Come on, hit them with the Almighty Breakup Economic-success Algorithm. |
Dumb tribal bigots making a fool of themselves indeed! If not, why will a sane person want to compare Olaoye to Okoye? |
Total takehome or basic pay? Cos what i am seeing here is childs' play compare what i have read before. |
Katsumoto it is for me. |
See question o! |
The sack of Barth Nnaji, unlike Okupe, Orubebe, DAM, and co. will not unsettle Gej relationship with 'awon boys'. |
Hall of fame :Save Nigeria group/Bakare. Hall of Shame : Barth Nnaji, for taking credit for the rise in rainfall that boost the generation of power from our hydro power plants this year. |
Federal Character probably contributed to Sanusi's rise. A principle that allocates position of power on the basis of population and landmass of regions without cönsidering the availability of capable hands is indeed a wrong principle for Progress. |

take dat: I do not think it conforms with universal electoral practices. Citizens can decide not to exercise their voting right if they are dissatisfied with the arrangement on ground, undecided voters can also abstain from the polls. And i don't think there is any hard and fast rule to how election exercise is should be conducted. Voters really do abstain from elections but in Nigeria it is seen as free votes to be flipped in favor of one party or the other for some fast bucks. Me think one of the biggest problems for now affecting our electoral system is Voters Apathy so having a "None of the Above" option on ballot papers will not really be the solution for electoral malpractices or to express dissatisfaction since most people are uninterested but I can reckon with you that if the total vote cast isn't up to a certain percentage of registered voters due to voters apathy and dissatisfaction with the whole process, a re-run should be called for.By the time the election is over the main damage has already been done. I am trying to see how it can be checked so parties in collaboration with crooks don't hijack what they perceive as free votes. |
Yes! you guys heard me right. A "None Of The Above" option for elections in Nigeria as a way of checkmating the fraudulent diversion of votes that characterized the April 2011 polls. We all witnessed how voters registration was encouraged en mass during the last voters registration exercise (to the extent of machineries going from state to state just for registering more voter profile) and how the slots of undecided registered voters was diverted to the favor of certain parties. I want to propose a None-Of-The-Above Option in view of this sharp practice being perpetrated by most power-hungry crooks. Let voters have the option of casting their votes for no party in particular, i believe this will help exposes the true level of dissatisfaction of the masses towards the ruling class as well as reduce the level of ethnic bigotry we see in display. If the level of dissatisfaction is too high, let there be a re-run election involving new candidates. All these along with solid reforms in INEC i believe will go along was in helping Nigerians see through their subconscious emotions, mostly negative ones and make better choices politically. |
