Most times it does mean so... But if you just installed it from Play Store, No you are not!

Go into Application manager in Settings and clear the apps cache and data, set your phone to 3G and try again. Sometimes setups doesn't work on WiFi but mobile data alone (From experience)

Unzip it to any part of ur pc, install Samsung drivers. Download Odin. Put phone in download mode and Odin should recognise ur phone and u should confirm this with the text added on the Odin or the yellow sign showing the com port u are connected to. Then hit on pda then u will be prompted to point to the file u downloaded and zipped. Then hit start. The rest is for Odin to do. And ensure re - partition is not checked

This one has a higher Changelist tho - http://terafile.co/6002f0b9a075 (server with this file seems to be down now tho, that is 'resaix11'). But aspmx22 holds the one above and it's up. So I advice you wait for resaix11 to come back online or you can download the first one. I have a terafile premium account, so i know using a Free account is not the issue...

Soooo many easy things that you can just do a Google Search for. Simple Google search.

Settings > About Phone > Software Updates. Check there. If not you have to download the firmware and flash it via ODIN.

Don Demu: Pls i got this samsung galaxy s4 this morning, not brand new but "London-used". The issue i have is the phone is stocked on 2G as when i go to Settings>>mobile-networks, it will not change from "gsm only" to WCDMA or GSM/WCDMA(auto). Kindly assist me cos i have been going up and down google, android forums, youtube etc;and solution that seems to work for others refused to work on mine. I had to fall back on tethering wifi from my galaxy tab just so i can open a web page on the Galaxy S4 with no High BP. I am using Airtel on it and the sim seem to have 3G provisioning cos i tried on two other devices and the "H" sign with arrows pointing up and down was on the screen and the speed was fast. If you are rooted, go into data/app/ and delete all the .odex files you can find there. Cheers!

Get the apk from anywhere, a custom ROM maybe.
Then Push it to system/app/ using a Root enabled File explorer. Like Root Explorer (best) or ES File explorer
Long press the pushed apk and set Permissions as

MsTeez: thank you actually ended up figuring it out that they removed that in favour of using the pen on the capacitive keys. on note 2, you could navigate by pressing down the button on your pen and drawing > to move right, < to move left and ^ to bring up the menu. thanks tho

Oga, we can't help you with your MTN Network issues. Call MTN. Or change SIM.

The only thing I can suggest is Settings > Application Manager > ALL. Then scroll down to Google Play Store. Select it then wipe cache then wipe data. Reboot phone. Make sure ur phone is on 3G, then Try again.

I don't know exactly what u mean, but yes.. It was frustrating to always comeback and use ur finger for the capacitive keys. But on note 3, the S-Pen works on the Menu and back Capacitive keys.

If you upgraded the bootloader, you CANNOT downgrade back to 4.2.2
Reboot into download mode, if you see a line like 'Warranty bit' then, you are 'F*CKED!'
