Skrrrrrrr:
Because Denver are soooo much better than the Lakers that they can win regardless...... The constant whistle doesn't affect their flow.
That's why Denver is a number 1 seed and you guys are the 7th seed.
But the excessive whistles disrupts the warriors and stops them from finding Rhythm. Considering that the teams are almost on the same level, the FTs gives an unfair advantage to the recipient Team. That's why they are the 6th and 7th seed respectively....
But for FTs, all the games vs the Nuggets, would be blowouts....
If you don't foul, the refs won't blow. It's as simple as that smiley

Skrrrrrrr:
Good. We are making progress.....
The difference between the Nuggets and the lakers is the bitching part.
We all agree the lakers were fraudulently awarded FTs..
Only GS and their fans are saying the Lakers are fraudulently awarded FTs. Denver just sees it as part of the game and forges ahead grin

Android17:
At some point in this game the refs had given the Lakers 27 FTs compared to the Nuggets 10. They had tried to do to them what they had done to the warriors in the SFs. #Shameless
The difference between you and the Nuggets is we didn't hear them bitching about the FT disparity. They just went about their business and won their games despite. That's how you know a team that's actually good.

Saw a video on Twitter how Phoenix Mercury head coach Vanessa Nygaard was angry LA Sparks didn’t sellout the arena for Brittney Griner's first game since returning from prison. Then I looked through the comments and someone posted this link grin

I trust Pelinka. He'll pursue Kyrie this off-season like flies hovering around a cow's butt. LeBron is old and I'm not even sure he can be the second best player on a championship team. Let him play the CP3 role and have AD and someone else run the show. It's going to be a long off-season.

It was a good run, I enjoyed it. It was good to see Lebron in the playoffs again. I will be watching game 4 Monday regardless.
Yea. This one was probably my least painful exit from the playoffs. We've been riding on house money for over 2 months now. We were in freaking 13th place after the trade deadline. It's not a shame to lose to this Denver team. They're the best team in the league and have the best player in the league. I now understand how it felt going against prime LeBron teams all those years grin. Jokic is a problem.

Its over. Its been a good run but we have to tone down the noise now. MJ remains GOATed. Thank You.
And it took LeBron losing in the conference finals at 38 for you to confirm that? Nice smiley

Blowing a 12 point 4th quarter lead at home in a game you absolutely must win is another level of bottling.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:13am On May 19, 2023
Denver are just too good. Let's take it back to LA and see what happens. We have to win the next 2 or it's over in 5.

What is LeBron doing?
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 2:45am On May 19, 2023
Reaves should not take his license to shoot for granted. He's 3 for 9. He should tone it down abeg. Don't force it.

The calls has been good abeg. Stop crying
I saw an unnecessary flagrant 1 that the refs called and that's what I'm complaining about. Even Van Gundy and Mark Jackson said it wasn't a flagrant.

And you saw the cancelled dunk by AD. You also saw the foul on Bron on the drive that was missed. The commentators agreed with me on all these 3 instances. Except you're watching boxscore of course.

But come to think of it, it was silly for Darvin Ham to start a 3 guard lineup against Denver. How do you carry over a tactic from the previous series into a new series? You need size against Denver, even a rookie should know this. That's the major reason we were thoroughly out-rebounded in the game. 47-30 rebounds is unacceptable. 15-5 offensive rebounds is even more unacceptable. See how solid we were when we had AD, Bron and Rui in the game. Rui was tasked with guarding Jokic higher up, which allowed AD to be the help defender that could either block/interrupt shots form Jokic or be the first to grab the rebound. Jokic made zero FGs in the 4th and had zero offensive boards.

Imagine criticising a player after a good game. Choose another reason my dear friend.
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 4:36am On May 17, 2023
When AD goes 11 and 7, no one would say LeBron's impact was needed. Or when LeBron goes for 30/9/9 in a closeout game, we won't say his impact was huge. They'll wait for the time AD scores 40 before they come out with their di*ks dangling. Una go dey alright. I hope you people find peace of mind in your lives. LeBron won't be the end of you grin

A little too late here. Costly turnover just a moment ago. And if that 3 from Bron had gone in angry Onto game 2. We better not start that atrociously in game 2. I don't know whether we should bring Rui into the starting 5. He's done a good job on Joker in the 4th.
Just looked at the boxscore and Rui was a +10 and the bench unit altogether was a +18 while the Nuggets bench unit was a –31. Darvin Ham should be doing a lot with that information if he's going to have a shot in this series.
