Warriors had Prime Iggy and DPY Draymond, Livingston, Javale and looney as a solid 8 player rotation with Zaza, West and being seasoned fillers
The Spurs reign was so long,but they always had quality guys, Kwahi, Mills, Splitter, Boris Diaw, Danny Green all in their prime not old men on their last legs and for the older chips Steven Jackson, Bowen, Scola, Finley, Barry, Bris Diaw, Bonner, Horry.
2010 Celtics had Rondo, Rasheed Wallace, Perk, big Baby.
Let's not even get to the Miami big 3 at all.

PS: like I said before if you're judging them based on their big 3, then that's more than fair, but saying Gasol, Ariza, Bazemore, Wellington and Howard are quality enough to fill spots 4 through 8 is disingenuous. Unless you are judging them on their names rather than what they are right now. There guys are in their career are where Matt Barnes was for the warriors old guys who should be the 8th, 9th man type.
Finally I did not ignore the strength of their big 3, which is just as strong as what the warriors had with the warriors team being younger. The main issue with the Lakers is the level of drop-off after their big 3 is just too steep and that is what you are refusing to admit

Thats the point my guy. What use is a PG that shoots more than he distributes, if he is shoots 43%, 35% from the 3. If you are the pg distribute. If that is not your strong suit, shoot lights out. Its the worst of both worlds if you cant do either. Just playing hard will not beat Bucks or Nets.

I want to see who else they bring on to fill the roster. Everyone is rightly concerned about getting shooters. But they also need to beef uo the defense, especially rim protection.

Is derozan still a possibility? That would be a killer starting 4

Leave am. Can Westbrook help a team without being ball dominant? I didnt watch him much on the Wizards, but this is his perennial weakness.

I worded it wrong. KCP is a better fit for this team than Russ. Way better fit. You need complementary pieces, not a ball dominant guard with a low FG%. KCP is a spot up sharp shooter. Exactly what you need with AD and Lebron on the floor.

If I was going after guards, I would look for a Conley or a Lowry. even a Lonzo Ball.

Superstars with no bench equals no ring. I would take KCP over Westbrook any day. And AD will have his regular injury bug, which will leave the team depleted for stretches. Add to that, Lebron will not be carrying team load in his 18th year, unless he wants to be injured for good.

The team as constructed could have won a ring this year, they just needed to stay healthy. Well sha, lets see if Lebron can work his magic and make Westbrook fit
