Black coaches doing the most in these playoffs. No wonder everybody wants to hire a black coach now ![]() As for Doc Rivers, such a disappointment. Your record was already atrocious going into these playoffs, but you found a way to do more. Terrible coaching. Can't even make in-game adjustments, neither can he make from game to game. After this job, any championship team hiring him is doing so at their own peril. |
Khanben:Na Lakers e dey come. Can't waste that house in LA ![]() |
The highlight of the night for me has to be Pat Bev getting ejected. Man had been talking smack all game, but when he received a little of his own medicine he couldn't take it. Lovely scenes ![]() Lakers Run L.A. |
Jae Crowder decided to show up tonight. Who would have thunk it? |
birdman:Well said. |
Did someone in this thread just say that KD guarded Giannis the whole series? Like the KD we all watched? KD that was doing absolutely nothing on defense. KD that was busy standing under the rim on defense waiting to grab rebounds because he could afford to give P.J some space because he was always stationed on the corner. Hian. After dem go talk say people no dey watch the games. The people that guarded Giannis the most in that series were Blake and Green. Even Harden and Brown guarded Giannis more than KD. |
We about to have a Hawks vs Suns NBA finals
|
benji93:Lol. For real man, the only thing Kobe and Book have in common is the mid-range game. Apart from that, nothing else. |
Jae Crowder is such a terrible basketballer. ![]() |
So this is the Booker Stephen A. said is the next Kobe? It's amazing how we just think scoring is the only important thing in basketball. What about mentality? What about defense? What about IQ? What about playmaking? |
Warren G on stage talmbout "they got guns to my head" Some gangstar sh*t right there. |
Ah, Warren G on stage. Nostalgia on overdose. |
SheikhErsan:Hehehe They would struggle against the Bucks, just like they would have struggled against the Lakers if AD was healthy. Who guards Giannis? Crowder? . Abi na Cam Johnson. If they dare put Ayton on Giannis, not only would Lopez have a field day, Ayton would enter foul trouble by second quarter. |
birdman:Nets/Sixers ke. I always thought the Bucks had a chance against the Nets, injury or no injury. The Clippers honestly can't do this without Kawhi. What else do they need to win? They outshot the Suns about 13-6 from 3. Attempted 6 more free throws even though they shot way fewer shots in the paint, matched them for turnovers (8 to 9), plus Booker shot poorly. Now you have CP coming back. They really can't look to anything to hang their hopes on. Nothing I mentioned here can get much better; it will only get worse or stay the same. The 3 point discrepancy can't get much better, same with the free throws. They can't get much better than only 8 turnovers. Booker will probably not play this bad again. CP is returning. Omo, this series is ending 4-1 at most. |
blacksta:Lol, when they've not even tasted CP3 at all. Now their game plan changes entirely, and they're in game 3 already. |
I'm hearing CP3 will be back for game 3. Ah, I smell a sweep ![]() |
blacksta:Yea. Payne also exploded last night. That game was close largely because Booker played poorly but also because they didn't hit their outside shots. Crowder missed a few open shots. Payne and Bridges too. |
I think this one would be too difficult for the Clippers to come back from 0-2 down. The Suns are just too good, and they don't have Kawhi. Plus the Suns expect CP to return at some point in the series (that's if they don't blow out the Clippers). So, let's brace up for a Bucks vs Suns finals. ![]() |
"The East is easy. The East is easy." They constantly said this to undermine LeBron's dominance in the conference. But he has gone on to win in the West also. And since he left, the Raptors and Heat have made the finals. The Hawks are in the CF and have a shot to make it out. These are teams that had/have no business going that far. So my question is: If the East is weak, why haven't the big guns been making it out every year. In the three years LeBron has been in the West, guys like KD, Kyrie, Harden, Giannis, Embiid, Tatum and Westbrook have played in the East and yet none of them have made the finals. They're about to let Trae Young and Clint Capela make it instead, just like they let Jimmy Butler last year. This is the equivalent of LeBron letting DeRozan and Al Horford make the finals when he was in the East. |

Folks making it look like KD just had the best playoff run in NBA history.
|
joshboo:For real. I've even forgotten about that one sef. |
Imagine playing 53 minutes with a grade two hamstring strain. Make baba calm down abeg. |

joshboo:Blake is a fine key player for them. I think he stays. But for how much? |
benji93:Na slim people get resilience and stamina pass na. No body fat and extra muscle to hold you back. |
People who are saying the Nets played without Kyrie should also say the Nets played the Celtics without Jaylen Brown. Can't write history to favour one side only. |
Omo, if to say KD toe no touch line for that potential regulation winner na so I for just sad this night. Omo, God is good.
|
Patrick33:If the Clippers try that small ball for the Bucks they'll be disgraced. |
afrodoc2:For real man. That's utter rubbish coaching. That it worked in game 5 doesn't mean it should be the way going forward. Suddenly you can't play Claxon and Mike James? These guys literally played a key part in the earlier games in this series and in the earlier round against the Celtics, and now you just shut them out, even knowing that Harden is not 100% and needs rest too. This is just BS coaching. Rookie mistakes. |
But honestly, how Joe Harris suddenly became a bum from the 3pt line needs to be studied. Like wtf was that shithousery? |
birdman:True. The basketball gods are alive. |
