I guess you are asking after we come to Jesus if we still keep the Commandments, actually what happens is that we become the fulfillment of the Commandments, we go beyond the Ten Commandments, we are now living by the law of christ or the law of faith, which is the law of liberty and unity with God and Jesus christ.

Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Take note the Ten Commandments remain but it is fulfilled in them that believe.

The holy spirit does not strife! The spirit does not help anyone who depend on the law.
The Help the holy spirit will give you is to turn you to Jesus.

The spirit of Jesus only cause the new birth in anyone that comes to him.

Jesus cannot be Lord over anyone who does not put down their righteousness and accept Jesus righteousness.


You have to reconcile with God, put down all pride and arrogance and superfluousness of naughtiness and accept the sincere milk of the word.

It's simple! God declares anyone who put his faith in Jesus christ as righteous on account of christ sacrificial work.
The ten commandments is to expose sin and lead sinners to the saviour.

Why would God almighty, the Creator of the universe/multiverse, pick a particular tribe, in a particular country amongst all of his creations to manifest himself knowing fully well the time it will take for that tribe/people/nation to go round the world talking about him and bring them close to him will take thousands of years. Of which some might even die without geting to hear about him? Why won't he just manifest himself to everyone since he's omnipresent so that we can all walk in his ways?

God can make use of anybody, it is not in your place to question God.
God could simply have made you a donkey but he made you a man.
The answer is all for his glory.

free from sin does not mean one don't have the capacity to commit sin, it means one is removed from those who are guilty to suffer eternal condemnation and also regenerated spiritually.
This is made possible through Jesus Christ.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

'ways' to what? There is just 'one way' to have the life God intended for humanity and that is Jesus.

One of the most misconstrued verses in the scripture is Philippians 2vv12
Which says

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Like most scriptures, text had to be read in their context, with other verses and related verses.

Was Paul saying we should work for our salvation like hustle for your salvation? This pretty is what many misconstrue this verse to mean but actually it says workout not work for.

To work for something it means you don't have it before but however, you are hustling to get it. while to workout means you have it but you working to bring it out.

If you read from Philippians chapter 1 you would find out what Paul desired from them, he wanted them to be filled with Joy, unity, love, and to put away pride and vain gloring.
He cited Jesus christ humility to be the example to follow.
Paul acknowledge that they have always in obeyed, but in his absence they should workout their salvation in fear and trembling.

What does Paul mean?
1. They were already in obedience by receiving the Gospel.
2. To work out their salvation in fear and trembling means to continue to submit to working of the operation of God in them and doing away with whatever hinder their sanctification.
Note it is God that is working the salvation in them.

This salvation is actually sanctification!

When we are saved, God began a work of sanctification in us, in other for the life of his son to be revealed in us but however we have a role to Play which is, to submit to his work in US and remove whatsoever that causes hindrance to the manifestation of the life of Jesus through us.

Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

There is a new heresy going round now that faith does not just mean to Believe that it means something more than just to believe.
The devil and his ministers would not give up their quest to pervert the simplicity of the gospel.
2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Jesus is not complex! God made the gospel so simple so that anyone could believe it, the poor, the rich, men, women, children, educated, non educated etc so that all may be saved who believe it.

Faith simply means to believe all things concerning christ, to believe all things christ.
To believe both the both the bad news that says all have sinned and are bound to hell due to their sins and to believe the good news that Jesus the Son of God was given to us that by trusting in him we become saved.

What is the difference between the righteousness of faith and righteousness of works?

The righteousness of works is dependent on human performance but righteousness of faith is the righteousness that depends on faith in christ.

The righteousness of works believe humans can be righteous or atleast close to righteous by striving to.
But, the righteousness of faith says no one can be righteous or close to righteous even our very best is nothing but filthy rag before God and our only hope is Jesus christ himself.


The righteousness by works is self base, one is directed to self but the righteousness by faith is external, one is directed to the cross.

The glory of the cross is reveled, the benevolence of God demonstrated, the total depravity of humanity is exposed and the inability of man is made known through the preaching of the righteousness by faith.
In the which God alone is glorified, exalted, his unmatched holiness revealed, his justice met in the cross, his abundant and unmerited love demonstrated upon the recipient of his grace.

While in the righteousness of works, God's standard is lowered, his holiness is put down, his love hidden, his justice compromised, the cross lose his power, for if righteousness could be attained by works then the cross becomes irrelevant, Christianity becomes yet another vain religion that teaches piety, good deeds, good morals etc

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Jesus said men are already dead but they would live when they believe in him.

This is the case of an unregenerated human he cannot please God by will power he must be reborn spiritually.

Why do I have to ask god for forgiveness for a sin I didn’t partake in (adams sin) .

There is Adam's sin, there is the Adamic nature and there is your sin.
Through Adam's sin you recieve a sin nature (adamic nature) however when you obey that sin nature you sin, this is your sin. You have a choice to either obey the commandment of God or not, failing to do so you commit sin and you will be Judged for your sin.

One of the lies that have being fed humans is that all religions lead to God. People are taught that truth has different versions, people are taught to just be good people or have clear mind and that is what you need.

But is truth relative? Are there different versions of truth?

For truth to be truth it has to be absolute
A half truth is worse than a lie!

Religion is man's attempt to reach God Except Christianity!

There is no religion, school of thought or whatsoever that can boldly say this!

There is no assurance of salvation anywhere else apart from Jesus christ.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

All other ways are base on works either doing good or being morally upright etc

One thing about works it is grossly fall short!

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
That is because humans are in darkness and do not know where they are going to and their religions, philosophies etc are like the blind leading the blind.

Only with Jesus can one get full assurance and safety.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

The opportunity of salvation is available only when you are alive, after death it is gone.

After death all is over.

God created a perfect world but Adam who was the head of the physical creation disobeyed God and brought sin into the creation, everything on earth is under a curse, hence the hardship abnormalities both medically and in otherwise, this world is literally dying, there is chaos,bitterness,pain, sickness, poverty, and every other malady.

But thank God he provided a means of redemption, Jesus christ the lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world.
Jesus Christ is the solution to sin he literally became sin (by taking on our sin) so we can become the righteousness of God.
the creation itself would be set free from its bondage when the sons of God (the redeemed are manifest) but however the future of this universe is complete annihilation by God.

However, God has a plan of creating a complete new heaven and earth with new human beings in them, this new creation is free from sin and as a result free from the woes of this creation and this my friend is what we the saints look forward to.

Dear friend to be part of this new creation all you have to do is to repent, (have a change of heart towards God by embracing his way) and faith towards Jesus christ.

Jesus is Lord
