Chizuru01:He is a looks stern, spartan and does not have you people's weakness which is thinking of your stomach first. This Buhari's secind term will change Nigeria. All the soft, corrupt decadence will be pressed out like dross. If your nurture is to steal, loot and cheat to take care of your needs your life will be hell between 2019 and 2023. The most painful part will be that you can't avoid it and there is nothing you can do agpbout it. There is the path of hardwork, discipline and prayer. Take it |
Guruindahouse:Very possible to run any biz in absentia. Deploy technology and do batch production, with each batch you know your target turnover and profit.Release money per batch and talk regularly to customers and distributors, you will hear enough to know how your staff are performing. Watch the fuel and power cost, they also tell you about production level. Please don't start your business with a construction project, building your own factory. Rent in a convenient place. There are also medium size bakeries made out of 20ft containers for instance. Cash is king. Actually cash is also queen, prince and princess. Don't "over establish", just turnover quickly and make profit. It's all about bread quality, efficient operations and sales, sales and more sales. |
Fabricate your equipment locally or buy used equipment from tge EU. www.exapro.com or www.mascus. com. For used Chinese equipment use www.alibaba.com However, it is highly recommend to use local fabricators. Keep three months working capital including salaries and the cost of hiring sales staff. Start only in new locations unserved by a current bakery. Buy a cheap vehicle for distribution. Bakery is the best business in any Nigerian city above 3million in population. Hence it is the best business in Nigeria, period. |
Go to all airports in the US. The most beautiful young people are sitting on the floor busy with iPhones. Nigerians don't even know what to post anymore if this is an issue |
This is a stupid thread. Low IQ. Me and you can ask whether any public officer declared an asset. Why are people so dumb in this country?. If I see a federal perm sec at a construction site, I am empowered by FOI, my rights as a citizen et.c to find out if that asset was declared. Asset declaration is not secret occult information. It's a DECLARATION. Pls Google up the meaning of D-E-C-L-A-R-A-T-I-O-N |
I love Buhari but modular refineries are VERY STUPID. |
From Lagos CP to Bomb disposal unit. So they not only are taking food from his mouth, they want to kill him on top of everything LOL. I am very happy the way PDP are being paid back in own coins in very cruel ways by Buhari. God has turned his back on them for 16 years of rigging, assassinations, cornering if economic opportunities and corruptment if judges. If the democracy is not working let it die. It gets much worse from this point on and no mercy. People must pay. |
You destroyed your own work calling Adamawa, Kwara, Borno, Edo and even Nasarawa for Atiku. So much work analytical work based on wrong premise. Is there something they sprayed in the air that is making people post wishful thinking as fact?. And you based it on 2015 election results. 2015 elections were rigged by PDP. They lost yes, but they still rigged. |
This is Jimi Agbaje's idea but very welcome. Lagos is 65% water. Its GDP will increase by 300% if we start using boats, ferries, barges and lighters to move people and goods. Kudos to Sanwo Olu, kudos to Jimi Agbaje |
PaChukwudi44:Yes but he won't sit over important cases anymore for the next six months. The people who do this spend to thinking.. really thinking while you are on social media. The guy will just be a figurehead CNN and there are many more petitions coming. There WAS actually an offence committed with serious implications. |
PaChukwudi44:He will step down. You have to think. It is blackmail yes but a very very effective one. You have to pray for the Chief Judge. Corruption weakens people that's the bitter lesson and Buhari is now a patient chess master. If you are corrupt , you are defenceless. |
Of course it was hacked. Only people who went to bad schools actually thought the "keep America safe mistake would exist on a party website for so long". It does not happen. The other wordings don't even fit the America safe context. Someone did it. |
Stephandeswardt:Upgraded Alpha jets bought from re-sellers like USAir always had NVG since GEJ administration. They sre also capable of accurate ordinance delivery but not precision strike . |
TooNoisy:The worst is Wike, yet most Rivers indigene are not exposed enough to know the guy is messing up big time. We hear the state is losing businesses, schools, families to Lagos. Municipal services, security and more cerebral ways of collecting taxes are the only way for most other states. |
Shawnnn01:I beg your pardon. Nigeria's population in the lifecycle of this refinery is 400m. His might be the only refinery supplying petrol to half of that figure. Add at least 20 other petrochemical products supplying raw materials to thousands of African industries, industrial gases and so on. He might just be the richest African. |
This is MASSIVE. The first in the history of Nigeria. We are getting to a new dawn gradually. God bless Nigeria.
That's looks like an ordinary flash distillation unit to extract more light ends. It's not even the crude distillation unit or the complex crackers that will be installed. |
Sizzorkay:Framework agreement was there since PMB last visit. We'll probably get Chinese Intellicence and a lot of weapons on credit. I think Nigeria is starting to distrust the western countries. |
jakeporeshenko:BHT showing amazing stupidity. Someone lied to them that Haramattan was limiting most NAF gunship operations. Obviously not. |
Covert1:The SU 34 will never be able to find and kill Boko Haram as cheaply and effectively as Super Tucano. The Super Tucano can be used proactively, loitering with its boring turboprop engines droning on and looking for insurgents with one pilot scanning sensors poring through sahel savanna brush. The other scenario of scrambling high flying SU 34s to counter random raids by 500 ISWAP guys on distant Nigerian Army who frequently melt away in many predetermined directions is interesting but far stretched. I would rather buy 12 more Super Tucanos and save all that operational cost. I believe SU 34 will be acquired but will purely be a more strategic asset available to warn neighbours that we have the reach to strike insurgent camps in their countries if they don't act to proactively remove them. That's all the usefulness of SU 34 to the COIN effort. SU 34s also give capability to effectivrly police the Gulf of Guinea and threaten possible strikes at Libyan terrorist camps if need be. |
komekn:Let me give an example that butresses your point. The point being that we are a country with serious attitude issues and young people under 45 are currently the worst in this area. You saw the video on social media of the soldier in slippers, carrying a modern rifle, with colleagues carrying modern gear but boasting that they ran away because Boko Haram came with more sophisticated weapons?. Meanwhile Boko Haram came to steal their unit's own more sophisticated weapons and actually succeeded carting away field guns, MRAPs and a Shilka ..all these were subsequently destroyed by NAF from the air but the example illustrates that today's youth are just full of shit. That's not even my point. I had a look at the 2019 defence budget with paper and pencil comparing with 2017 and 2018 budgets. VERY ANNOYING!!! I saw MOD units buying brand new cars every budget year. There is an MOD R & D arm spending more on cars, office furnishings and comfort items than the equipment and software they need to develop new stuff that would actually be impactful in the North East. Meanwhile there seems no sense of urgency on those projects looking at the budget votes in that document. The crazy expenditure on brand new Peugeot vehicles every year is the most hard to understand. Do we understand that cars are capital items only fully depreciated over 4 to 5 years years?. Why must every Nigerian MOD department buy cars every year while we are struggling to source funds for MRAPs and IFVs for soldiers?. Almost every weapon system, aircraft, military vehicle that will make a difference to the war is underfunded while questionable barracks construction is taking all the capital expenditure money. The Navy and NAF seem to have a more well thought out development plan and professional procurement system but the Nigerian Army seems arbitrary, chaotic, planless and in need of modern defence management processes and tools. Army aviation has been on the cards for more than 8 years but they are just paying second instalment for three small choppers. Meanwhile the exact nature and quantity of procurement they are doing from the ECA is shrouded in mystery. It is SAD. All this is in the attitude space. Nothing else. |
EricBloodAxe:Did you type "once and for all"? I am really getting worried about my countrymen. You guys don't get it. I just estimated 50 years and there will be more. ISWAP is religious based. There will be many that are nationalism based like Fulani herdsmen or ND. There will be some that are organized crime based like they have in S. America. Whatever the tyoe and complexion of the insurgents, fighting COIN wars within borders is a new type of capability national armies have to develop and it is not by inviting foreign private companies to do the job. You sit down, you do threat assessment, you train and equip against those threats. |
EVarn:I won't apologise for being harsh. It is insulting to my country for someone to suggest I should bring a S. African to fight my war. Not even the S. African Army,... a S.African PMC. The other day under GEJ you sent an aircraft with cash to buy arms and they messed you up. Is it a curse on you guys? The suggestion calls into question the nature of education and political orientation that this generation was brought up on. A white S. African owned PMC fighting misguided radical Islamic insurgents for you a few decades after you helped to liberate the continent from apartheid?. Why don't you kuku admit that the black man is actually inferior?. Nonsense. A little problem in the field, a little complication and they start with wild ideas. All based on the premises that we are not capable and there is only one solution - throw money at the problem. Get a white man to do the job that discipline, diligence and professionalism will. RUBBISH. Nigeria has been asking for help but through . Mostly training and weapon supplies. Most times training, the country will contract out the job to a PMC. This is much preferred to contracting fighting to a PMC. I have asked on many fora; how do you cost the fighting contract ? Is it lump sum - if you capture Baga, I will give you $20m or is it unit rate - I will give you $5k for every terrorist killed or is it hire rate - I will pay $30k per day for every helicopter, $500 per rifle. How do you do it? They will CHEAT your dumb ass and the NA generals signing the invoice will become billionaires and because of that the conflict will not end. |
You are now going to blame Buhari for Jonathan's appointment. It is really pathetic. What I find is that GEJ makes most of his supporters look weak and silly. |
SamuelAnyawu:This is stupid suggestion. Eeben cannot stop Boko Haram and he himself has said so. You need to think hard about issues before making childish suggestions. First of all, there are solutions that are worse than the problem - nobody can pay someone to sleep with his wife for instance. You can, i suppose from this stupid idea you are espousing. Some of upu guys have been brought up with trader mentality, you think money buys everything. That is dumb and believe me it's a serious limitation on your life. Eeben cannot stop ISWAP/Boko Haram. He himself is above 60 and has been realistic and honest about what his PMC does. He is not as duncey has some of you posting without thinking. He has mostly suggested TRAINING contracts with MOD. Since then our Army, Navy and Air force personnel have gotten cheaper more effective training from US, UK, Germany, Russia and Pakistan. There is nothing Eeben Barlow will bring. What we need is discipline and professionalism in the field at FOBs. We need skilled majors, colonels and Brigadiers who are aware of their environment and can call on resources when they know ISWAP is planning something. Boko Haram/ISWAP motivation is ideological, religious, tenacious. Only Nigerians will fight them, expel them from Nigeria and do so for the 50 years or more that we require to prevent them coming up again. By then, Eeben Barlow would have died and his company maybe liquidated then. It is a threat that will last decades. In case you are so ignorant that You think it will end with weapins and tactics alone. IT WON'T. ISIS is not dead. They moved from Syria to Afghanistan and Libya and they are coming south to Nigeria. You don't fight a battle or two battles and say you have lost the war and start begging some old S.African to help you OR you win some battles and relax like the stupid Buratai and his team did. |
deboysben:This is Pastor Adegboye (meaning: a royal blood took the title) not Adeboye (a royal blood met his due title). PDP and social media has destroyed the educational system in this country. Everybody is impetuous, shallow and unnecessarily sentimental. |
komekn:This is nonsense. It's because of Chad that Boko Haram is still strong. Look at the map of Lake Chad area. They are mostly hiding out at the Chadian side of the rapidly vanishing lake. The problem we have is that our far flung FOBs need more frequent air support ISR and patrols. Also we have deployed inexperienced soldiers at FOBS who also have poor regimental behaviour and poor discipline. |
komekn:Chadeans are worse. Experienced but poor discipline.Their soldiers dont just run, the entire unit just disengages and withdraws. Their officer corps is shit and I hear they are owing months in salaries. We complain about the Nigerian Army but it is not lost on us that they are actually better at COIN than US, Afghan, Egyptian and Russian Armies. What Russia did in Syria to take out rebel forces and ISIS was not COIN... but complete scorched earth destruction of entire provinces where rebels were based. We cannot do same against our own people to clear out Bokos. Afghanistan has lost 85% of the country to Taliban in spite of security spending x5 of Nigerias. Only Algeria is performing better than Nigeria but they are spending atrociously on hardware. |
Legally she cannot be removed by PDP protestations. If INEC has a protocol for managing conflicts of interest then a few staff of INEC can complain and invoke it. GEJ had his classmate and long term family friend as INEC REC. PDP is actually on a karma receiving cycle. They should shut up and take their punishment. |
EricBloodAxe:You be warned. If your locally bred and educated mind cannot proffer better solutions than paying 500 mercenaries $10m a month to chase 10,000 zealots who are in it for life then you SHUT UP. The brain is a free resource. We need to use it. |
nemesis8u:If it was not mechanical failure, they obviously did not use the full capabilities of MI 35M. They did not use their sensors adequately and/or they were probably starved of standoff weapons like longer range Iglala missiles on this mission. They used MI 35M chopper like MI 35P Thats a lot of young lives and USD35m down the drain. |
EricBloodAxe:If you continue with stupid talk of mercenaries we will insult you. Please be warned. |
