Hmmmm. I finished my service last year June.
Lost my dad last year September. All the money I was able to save after service went to the burial.

Well I have been searching for a decent job. I got an offer at Lekki recently as a front desk officer and the salary is 60k.

From where I live in the mainland to and fro 6 times a week, 4 times a month will cost me all the money so I refused to take the offer. I have applied to places online but no response.

I have dusted my shoes and began the job hunting within. In one of the places I went recently I was told that the only available work is packaging and I was asked to come back tomorrow. Well I am going back there tomorrow. My plan is to start somewhere first then get a skill that will earn me passive income.

Also I want to delve into shoe making business. I have been talking to a friend who has the machine I want to use for the shoe making business. I want to save up and buy the machine. I will have to dedicate my weekends to acquire the skill.

Honestly it is not easy in the labour market. I have spoken to an uncle who works as a civil servant and given him my CV. Hopefully when he is able to secure a decent job for me with recommendation I will have to relocate from this Lagos. It's not easy in Lagos.

Drugs has finished this man. If you see the level of drugs these ppl consume you will shed tears.

My own advice is for them to know what they want. Set standards for yourself but don't be too strict. Be friendly and nice to guys.

Just set good standards for yourself. A guy who sees good in you will endure and have you eventually.

And please don't be dependent on men cos you will loose your value also. Get something doing for yourself and also focus on adding values to yourself.

I remember when we used to read in the faculty of management science at night with street lights during exam period with mosquitos feeding on us daily. Even after that some of us still get zero due to error from ICT or other departments and then the stress of writing letters and getting signatures from lecturers and HODs and eventually still carrying the course over. All these we went through and someone can achieve just that with "transaction successful". Let justice be served please.

Last year during my NYSC service days in Yenagoa I was robbed of all my belongings. A new phone I bought for 75k was taken from me with all the money with me that day and I was pushed out of a moving Keke. Thank God I didn't die. Sometimes these ppl don't deserve pity.
