Well u need to confirm catergorically if the agent submitted a DS 160 for U so the info then and now do not conflict.
Be that as it may, if u cannot confirm there, merely submitting an application and not going for the interview does not constitute a refusal.

However u must have an explanation ready for (a) why you didn't show up for the interview and (b) the reason for any conflicting info if any

hello everyone I need some help on this I applied for a US Non-Immigrant visa using an Agent. After he claimed to have paid the Visa fees in GTB(a reciept was scanned to me), I noticed some funny character from the agent when he claimed he had scheduled me for an interview. I requested for a confirmation mail as a proof of appointment but he didn't send any. So I backed off the appointment to avoid ruining my immigration status. (Note. I didn't attend the interview because I felt it was a scam). Now having been a silent follower of this thread i wana do it myself,My question is whenever I am scheduled for an interview, ''when the VO ask if I have ever applied/or bn refused a US visa, what should be my appropriate answer''? Please note, the reason why I am confused is that I don't really know if actually the said agent truly booked any appointment for me since he couldn't provide me with a confirmatory email
from the embassy and I don't want to go and embarrass myself in the
presence of the VO in terms of lying. In summary, booking an appointment
and not attending, does it count as a
visa application/rejection? and if
appointment was booked but not
attended what should be the
appropriate answer when asked if you have applied for or have been refused a US visa before? Thanks.

My appointment was slated for 8.30am.
I meet some men outside that were screening people to go inside, when it got to my turn he wrote TB on my appointment form. I asked the rational for the TB, he said the confirmation number in my appointment don't correlate with the that in my appointment slip. I was furious and and he didn't allow me to go in and I left angrily . By 2pm I went back to the embassy. I demanded to see the head of the consular session and the security allowed me in. I bemoaned the way I was treated and he asked if I was ready for the appointment. I said yes I did biometric am transcript of the interview.

Me I responded vacation and that I intend celebrating my birthday in the Usa.

How many grandchildren in Nig? She forgot for a moment and started counting them (lol); 4
How long is she planning to stay : 180 days
To pick her 2 yrs' visa on Friday and was advised not to use more than 6 months in the US at a time.

It varies,for my course its feb 15th(for those wit d intent of getn a scholarship) while april 15th for others. So the deadline for ur dpt mite b dfrnt,jst check d dept's website and dt of the graduate studies.

i submitted in dec bt application completed jan bfor d deadline date. You knw urs is MPA so is quite different.

Na wa for all these canadian universities o,so tey if u nor get 4.0 and above it's hard to get an offer for a masters program. Anyway,decision made on my application to U of M and it is GPA(3.71/5.00) not competitive. Still gat 2 more skools to go i blv God will make me smile.

Okay cos I was kinda confused! Anyway if he lost or there's a mistake in his e passport, tthe rate to get a new one Orr effect a change is very high now, but if it's the old passport that he lost or needs to make a change in, I will advice him to go for the new e passport and forfeit the old one
