NEVER let a woman come between you and your brother, NEVER.
Didn't the bible say a man should leave his parents and siblings and be one with his wife?

Never let a man come between you and your family.

But the truth is, when a woman knows that a man loves her infinitely, there is a chance that she becomes spoiled and may begin to take the guy's love for granted.

I am not saying don't affirm your Love everyday, I am just saying don't completely 100% display it in a jeapordizing way. Like, don't make yourself vulnerable in that way because it spoils the relationship.
How do you show love without showing it 100%?. You think we women are mugus?

PoliticsAwo's Legacy: A Blessing Or Curse To Yorubas? by StFunmi(op): 7:19am On Feb 24, 2009
Awo's legacy graced Yorubaland with free education for years and many of us reaped from the fruits of his vision. Was Awo's  vision truly a blessing or curse in disguise?.

The recent drop of Yorubas in school may be a result of the demise of Awo's free education policy. If most rural Yorubas are not used to paying school fees, do you think they'll wake up suddenly to do it?.

Secondly, the population density of south west may also be a factor because we spend more percentage of our federal state allocation to furnish these schools that cater for children  from every part of the nation while they spend less and achieve more in their own states that have a higher percentage of indigenes.

Do you think we should bring back Awo's  free education to boost the interest of Yoruba youths in schools. We should understand clearly that the more they drop out of school the more the population of area boys and almajiris increase in our land.

Also, I studied the statistics and foresaw a trend that may be shocking to any yoruba person that cares. There is still  a big difference between male and female enrollment in schools. If females are more in population but when it comes to education, they drop, what does that tell you about our culture and how it subdues women?. The more we educate our women, the more we curtail careless pregnancy and poverty. If igbo women are twice as educated as Yoruba women, it's a shame indeed.

What is wrong with Nigerians? Angry

srzly am getting sick/tired of every Nigerian
the country shld separate, theres nothing to be proud of
There is nothing wrong with Nigerians. You may wanna ask : What is wrong with Nigerian men( especially Yoruba, Ijaw,Bini and igbo men) because 99.7% of these criminals are men from these ethnic groups. Nigerian women live abroad too but the only thing associated with them is diligence and hardwork while their male counterparts are largely known for cheating on their partners and committing fraud. Don't lump us together abeg.

Yes and very tall  but the guy is old enough to be her father. He must be loaded. I don't know how couples that are over  two generations apart cope with their marriage.
FamilyRe: House Boy Or House Girl? by StFunmi(op): 8:43pm On Feb 23, 2009
TOSIN OLORUNISOLA

I would go for a young girl of below 10 years of age. This girl shouldn’t be from my tribe. Females, I believe could take care of the home, they have attributes of motherly care compared to the male counterparts. But one thing stands out, no matter how dutiful the girl is, she is restricted to washing my husband’s clothes or working in my room. A male house help stands a greater chance of corrupting my daughters, especially when I’m the busy type.
Any of you care to know the reason why this woman is running from a yoruba maid?. If she has a good intention for the maid, why is she running from one that can easily be traced to her?

my parents worked all the time. saturday and sunday my mom does all the cookings, when the soup is out, even at night, she still fixed something for the next day. if no light, we warm the soup. if the soup is sour, she made another soup. sometime she got up early in the morning. as we grew, we helped out.

one thing i saw was that some of the women using house help don't work. they spent the day visiting friends and gossiping. while omo odo roamed around shopping only to come back home for beating.
Exactly.
