IbnSultaan: NA. Good old days are truly gone Chadian forces deep inside Nigeria. Active around Gamboru after air strike on BH actually bro. we nees the chadians to move in from the cameroonian side while we advance from within. since the cameroonians are not brave enough for such large scale offensive. recall the last offensive we carried out that pushed them into cameroon. that's because the cameroonians refused to fight from their boarders which made that offensive useless. such scenario needs to be avoided if we are to deal a desicive blow to BH. Gomboru is a MJTF AOR bordering cameroon by which cameroonian army refused to contribute to. so letting the chadians block any BH escape from there is not a bad idea. dude, the main fighting is not along the border villages but from deep within Nigerian territory. right now gulak and madagali have been surrounded and about 6000 BH fighters are trapped. operations will start latest today. sambisa is being bombarded by Nigerian troops, 10 towns have been liberated by Nigerian troops from withing Nigerian territory. all these will continue to be succesful as long as the chadians(since the cameroonians are scared) continue to block any escape from the border. but i've come to reapect the chadians for their involvement(make i hear any cameroonian come talk rubbish here about killing 500 phantom BH again). why do you think the americans got tired of offensive operations in afghanistan, anytime they get serious, Talibans run across the border into pakistan. and same thing happens to the pakistanis. even their recent offensive against TTP waa not a success because those guys just evaporated into afghanistan till the situation is calm. please, you people (especially Nigerians) need to learn to understand some things firat before running your country down ignorantly (no offense). |

So the Troops are no longer ill-equipped, it is now an excuse about them been expired. i saw the interview and i was just laughing. first they said they were not given enough weapons, then another excuse was that they were given RPGs, mortars and artilleries that didn't work. abeg, wetin you need to take defend FOB again na? nuclear bomb? the same weapons boko haram siezed and used effectively till they were recaptured!! i think femi falana needs to take a nap. dude doesn't even know what he's fighting for and that's why he has never won any case supporting those bloody cowards. |

Fynline: Captured from BH you mean "recaptured". it's surprising how CNN, BBC and some cowards and traiyors who were never meant to be in the military keep telling the world that the army lacks weapons when most of the "recaptured" BH heavy weapons actually belong to the same army they accuse of lacking heavy weaponry and ammo to tackle BH. the recruitment process relly needs to be fixed asap to avoid more recruits of hustlers instead of real soldiers. weatern media sha.... dem get swag no be small. |

As usual:
[citation needed] ignorant south africans. Nigeria and chad have fought over control of islands in the lake chad basins. we wooped them so bad like we did the cameroonians over bakassi that their master in the UNSC had to intervene for settlement. we still control those islands. so tell me how the loser can still have control huh? you south africans are just too dumb to be argued with. In 1983 Chad also fought an interstate conflict with Nigeria over the status of some of the islands found in Lake Chad, to which both countries have borders. A settlement between the two countries ended this disputewww.ucdp.uu.se/gpdatabase/gpcountry.php?id=32Nigeria is not libya |

agaugust: Nigeria and Chad have fought several times in that desert, last time around 1982 Nigerian army fought and defeated Chadian army as usual, we pursued them deep into the dessert and the Chadian army kept running!
When Nigerian army was 50km away from N'djamena the capital of Chad, our DHQ ordered our troops to stop advancing and come back home.
The bones of the Chadian army buried in the desert sand is a message they will never forget.
Dude, Chad is a terror only to South African army, you ran from Seleka, they stayed behind as your masters . these south africans don't know history. they were still struggling for identity when a lot happened in Africa. ignorant people |

patches689: Added armor will reduce mobility and off-road
You guys should develop something like pic related - it can easily be done by simply removing the body of a light truck or 4x4 attaching roll bars and weapons mounts - suspension may be stiffened if HMG's are planned
Fast, epic off-road capabilities, and not difficult to manufacture only thing is "no protection". that's why the latter is designated LAV. that's what we need to beat ambushes that's very common in COIN |

Chad will fight exactly like BH
Its their doctrine
Go look up "the toyota war" and see what they did to Libya and they will keep dying like BH. go look up the thousands of BH the NA have killed. Nigeria is not Libya. unlike libya, we have mastered how to fight insurgency (chadian army). |

SavedbyYaweh: [s] A flash of what i saw this morning made me come here to write this. Sorry to derail your thread a little but this is of upmost importance I usually follow nairaland from time to time because i have had my own very tough spiritual challenges and God saw me through it all. Not more than five days ago, i wanted to study the word and after praying that God should lead me where to read and where i was led to was Mark 13 from vs 14-27. It was talking about the awful horror that would take place. Unlike me i said some prayer concerning that event. Fast forward to this morning around some minutes to 8 in the morning, i was half awake half asleep and the flash came just like a dream i was hearing shouts as if it was from afar and then it was coming closer then i started seeing flying objects bigger than planes like all these flying objects that aliens use to fly to earth in all these movies flying all over, there where giant beings that where not human walking around, there was destruction everywhere, i panicked but then i remembered what i read from the Bible which was for everyone to remain where they were. I was sitting on a couch, i just held the person next to me and started singing praises and everything vanished. All these took place in less than 3 minutes, i jumped up from my bed and had to look for a way to share. I do not know when this will happen but i just want to use this medium to tell all those waiting on the Lord that are getting weary to stand firm because he is coming soon and for unbelievers to please repent and be prepared for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ because he is coming soon. Please if you can share with your family and friends. Thank you[/s]. guy, go buy fansida. na malaria dey worry you. and don't post this rubbish here again. |

NaijaPikinGidi: Something to ponder upon and a further proof of the biased, unethical and poor ethics in journalism that is the hallmark of western/foreign news media! This is the BBC for you ... caught between a rock and a hard place trying to speak from both sides of the mouth. However, the key point here is that 2000 people didn't get killed in Baga! Impossible. In deed, this is a weak attempt by the BBC to appear to be credible ... following our NA's strong rebuttal and statement of the actual number of casualties in Baga.

Romance › Re: How To Know If Your Girlfriend Is Cheating On You by stillchris: 2:36pm On Jan 14, 2015 |
guy, my gf had feelings with like 3 guys before i met her. i didn't know at first till i gradually began to notice. but i played cool and still treated her like a princess with the believe that "love thrives with patience and underatanding".
in every serious conversation we had i always tell her i trust her and trust her to trust herself. i just tried to stay calm and enjoy the relationship because she's such a lovely girl.
long story short. one evening she called to meet (i had given her a break then to test how much she felt for me). then she told me about these guys and how she was in love with them even while we dated blah blah blah.. (me just calm down dey sip my beer dey listen), then she told me she realized her heart is now fully mine that she has moved on and no longer confused. no be small romance we play that night.
don't force the truth out from her. give her time, treat her right, stay on top of your game and keep an open mind. women are naturally weak emotionally. trust me, if she get sense she go come to you. (except na olosho she be) and if not. you just move on to the next one. |
