The Igbo man is still bitter that the war they asked for in 1967 was not fought on Yoruba soil as they planned. Hold on to your misery while we hold on to our wisdom and peace. |
basilo101:Why should there be a rusted roof in a 21st century structure? Who builds a baroque architecture in a 21st century futuristic design? Both are developments of their own era, and because there's a new, doesn't mean the old should have never existed - except of course there's no history to talk about. Now what is your own old? |
The same Sheriff they termed as a boko haram sponsor when he was in APC having joined from the legacy ANPP. He soon became their darling when he decamped to the PDP and led the advance team of President Jonathan's entourage to Chad - a visit that ended with a negotiated amount of $40M to help prosecute the Chibok girls release, but Nigerian presidency staff still managed to steal $35M out of the funds. Then he became a saviour whose money would help the dying PDP, who according to Godswill Akpabio, did not have any money again since there was no president to run to (for public funds to be siphoned and embezzled). They made him an acting party chairman, having only spent 2years in the party that had existed for over 17years with many long term loyal members overlooked - a party without ideology. Now he has been termed as HIV bride that cannot be married at the altar. Boko Sheriff has since decided he will never be used and dumped, if no marriage at the altar, even the party isn't too big not to be sacrificed at the altar. Hopefully the blood will wash away Nigeria's sins and bring about a rebirth of the country in the aftermath of the demise of PDP. |
balancediet:Do you have any proof for your invitation to that office? You owe your country a duty to stamp out corruption. Forward the necessary details to the police, DSS, and EFCC. Also the particular matter you were investigating should be disclosed so that their own investigation can be narrowed to that. You just might help reveal another corruption scandal that PDP loyalists will term as propaganda. |
amtaken:The almighty Tinubu, right? Haters like you can't resist the temptation to keep your enemies relevant. More grease to your elbow, your unsolicited image laundering is much appreciated. |
chernest2002:Especially an unrepentant thief. |
How can a president who made the famous Jim Nwobodo campaign for stealing, win the Mo Ibrahim award. A president who siphoned unallocated funds claimed to be for arms to fight terrorism. A president who agreed $40M with Chad president to help negotiate for release of Boko Haram kidnap victims but only remitted $5M and his aide pocketed $35M on his behalf. Mo Ibrahim award would have been discredited forever. |
If true, then the scales are beginning to fall off their eyes. |
emmykk:I nor the government is concerned about what PDP did with Tunde Ayeni's money, or that of other government cronies who had previously been sold government assets for a pittance, and were only giving the agreed kick-back as campaign funds. What PDP did or did not do with such funds is PDP's business. The present government is not concerned with PDP campaign funds or how it was raised or disbursed, rather all Nigerians of sane mind are concerned with how federal government funds, both budgeted and unbudgeted, found its way into PDP for campaign purposes. Ali Modu Sherrif has been fingered as a recipient of funds traced back to Dasuki as distributed by Esther Nenadi Usman, that was meant for arms despite not being budgeted - a crime on its own. Ali Modi Sherrif, Dasuki, Metuh, Okupe, FFK and their gang, are not being prosecuted for how they spent PDP funds, but for how they stole government funds and made it PDP's funds. Theft of public funds as enabled by Jonathan is the matter here, not how PDP spent its own funds. Whether APC is saved or not at the next polls is not the matter, what matters is that the cancer called PDP must remain dead at the center - a reasonable penalty for 16years of nothing. |
emmykk:No one is probing PDP campaign funds, we know the party had a fund raising drive towards the elections and cronies like Tunde Ayeni donated more than N2Billion naira. Rather the federal government is probing missing federal government funds from government coffers, and missing unallocated federal funds claimed to be for arms to fight boko haram. If the above missing federal government funds ended up in PDP campaign, then what exactly is your problem with the federal government's goal to retrieve such funds? |
This PDP circus is very interesting, so long they remain out of power at the center. |
A university professor and a SAN who happens to be a senior partner in a law firm with annual personal income running into hundreds of millions, can afford to live in Banana Island and send his kids to any school he can afford. Even his own parents gave him the best of education at Corona and in the UK. He has only done what is expected of a man with means and who is a living testament of how far quality education can get you in life. As you make your bed, so you will lay on it. |
Tompolo na Government, he gave the people a pittance while he consumed the bulk of the funds in true fashion associated with all corrupt governments. |
If you were smart enough, you would understand that this is a statement of result and not a certificate. This statement of result was produced on demand and can always be produced on demand any other time in the future. Where you expecting the school to provide the results demanded in 2015 on a result paper format of the 1960's? Did you see any remark (credit, distinction etc) beside the Igbo subject, or you do not know what a slash to represent nil entry is? Or from your argument buhari sat for all the possible 21 subjects that now exist on the 2015 result statement template? As for the principal's name, did the entry request for a name at all or you have taken it upon yourself to decide what is ideal and required? Calm down, borrow yourself some common sense, then look again. You would realise you have already cleared your own concerns with the very 1st point you raised. |
blackmatter007:Why the contradictory statement? How does your wish for Delta state not to be part of the Western Region erase the historical facts of such occurrence? So SE Igbos are more related to Itshekiris of Delta state than Yorubas? So Igbos own Delta over the majority Urhobos? As usual, SE Igbos deciding who is SS or Niger Delta. You never change, you never learn. |
blackmatter007:Nice that you know there are Yoruba majority in Kwara and 1 out of the 3 senatorial zones in Kogi is Yoruba land. But do you see Yorubas in the SW continue to harp we NC/SW? You even put the SS first before typing SE (we SS/SS). This shameless attitude of SE Igbos should stop. The SS is looking at you in derision. You have even made it your role to decide who is true SS or not. I see comments you lot make about Edo and non-Anioma parts of Delta. Yet you point your finger at others claiming divide and rule tactics. |
blackmatter007:Hate and Envy? What did you hope to gain by starting this thread? And what are the oil rich Itshekiris to Yoruba? Are they not related Yoruba groups in the Niger Delta too. But do you see Yorubas acting so needy of them? Do you see Yorubas typing We SS/SW like you lot type SS/SE, despite having Edo and Delta and parts of Bayelsa as former Western Region? |
hagmond1:They need the SS to grant them independence hence the subservience to the SS of late. Or what is the use of a SE independence from Nigeria when the SS still ensures you are trapped within Nigeria? |
Another wailing session from a tribe that has felt miserable since 1966, and leading to much anguish up till 1970. Let the Niger Delta worry about its oil, the Yorubas have oil and other sectors to worry about. As for the Igbos, let them continue to worry about foisting a "we SS/SE" identity that the SS doesn't even regard. I don't envy the needy SE right now. Some will soon come here to tell us how the Igbos are the majority tribe of the SS. |
amtaken:Oh you even know Jesus? Who would have thought so. The great achievements of PDP's 16years federal governance in your state and region should be enough to console you. They surely must have done so great for you to really think so highly of them. Continue to enjoy that, while those who want something else continue to get the much needed development. |
amtaken:**** You will always get what you desire, failure or progress, kponmo or infrastructure, the choice is yours. You criticised Buhari's trip to China but celebrated Fayose's trip to the same China and Wike's trip to watch Real Madrid play in Spain. You criticised the loans being sought by the president in China, but now expect that your state and region have some benefit from the loans sought by other states, which you will still criticise in the future. You rejoiced over the coastal railway removal from the budget just because of Amaechi and Buhari. I hope you now rejoice knowing that the senators and reps who redistributed the funds to their own village projects did not have those items in any budget to begin with, nor were those projects defended by any ministry? **** |
madenigga:He is presiding over your region in the manner you wish for. You want failure, you will get what you desire. When you hear he's travelling to France, hurry up to be the first critic on the irrelevance of the trip. Then when he returns with the goodies, be the first to lament that you were not carried along. Now you know the definition of an aimless wailer. |
amtaken:Firstly, Lagos and Ogun projects are state projects. The Lagos rail was already flagged off by Fashola, while the Ogun-Chinese free trade zone is Ogun's version of Tinapa. The president has only helped the states secure funding for completing their projects just like he recently approved the loan sought by Edo state for state projects. On a different note, you of all people continuously insist that the president must fail, that the China trip is a waste bla bla bla. Yet you are now asking why nothing is coming to you? Did your governors request for any presidential help with international loans that was not rendered? Did you not rejoice that the president and Amaechi's bid to have the coastal railway approved was rejected by the National Assembly? When did people start to rejoice over their own loss of development? If you want Buhari to fail, he will surely fail, but it must be in your state and region. You are your own enemy. |
madenigga:So China trip is not useless afterall? For those insisting Buhari will fail, he must surely fail in their states and region, not the ones hoping he will succeed. |
aresa:Don't mind them. It's just like Fayose suddenly asking why Ekiti state did not get any deal in China after sending a treasonous later to the Chinese to rubbish the same President. |
Fedayeen:What are the projects you want in your region and who is fighting for it on your behalf? The Ogun-Chinese free trade zone project is an Ogun state project with the Chinese that the president has used his high office to seek support from China. The Lagos rail is a Lagos State project already started by Fashola that the president only helped secure funding for, just like he approved the loan sought by Edo state. The loans are state loans sought from international creditors. So if your governors and political leadership in whatever region you come from are not interested in any project that requires presidential support, and would even berate the same president and Amaechi for insisting that the coastal railway must be retained in the budget, then stop shedding crocodile tears. No region or state will be begged to receive federal infrastructure or support. Those who need it are already taking from you to complete their own, while you continue to hate without any gain. Suddenly, critics like you and your named cohorts now realise that the China trip was useful? Yes you are a tribalist. |
iswallker:What has Aisha Buhari's interest in helping to support families of victims who have suffered the crimes of boko haram got to do with your assertion? Was it the failure of Aisha's husband that made the government of that day prevaricate for 3weeks before finally accepting that the chibok girls were missing? You will never be happy in this life or the next. You will never get any help in your miserable life. Rather than supporting you when in need, potential donors and benefactors would rather spend their monies catering for their animal pets. |
Did the ignorant critic not know that the funds realised from the book launch was meant for the families of the same abducted girls and the FGC Bunu Yadi boys massacre? Must people always feel so entitled to criticise the good intentions of others? I reckon any other date or day of the week would have certainly had reasons for being inappropriate for such book launch, when dealing with this kind of blind critics who love hearing their own voice and seeing their own typed words. |
JuliettaBitch:The issue of route for the railway was not determined by the Buhari administration. This is a project that had been on the drawing board for years. This is a coastal railway that traverses all the coastal states in Nigeria. I thought Igbos said they own Port Harcourt (Igwe Ocha as called by IPOB). If indeed it does not pass through any SE states except Aba in Abia State, does that make it irrelevant as a coastal railway? Lagos to Kano railway does not traverse the NorthEast region, does that make it useless for the route it runs through? Have the North Easterners demanded for the Lagos Kano railway to be scrapped? If the SouthEast is not interested in it, how does that affect the benefits derived by the towns that would host the coastal railway? The Yorubas already have the Lagos to Kano railway traversing their region. If the rest of the South, including the SouthSouth that is to benefit the most, are not interested in the coastal rail, then Buhari should approve the Budget in the manner the Northerners have already redistributed the funds to favour projects in their own region. No government has to beg any region to accept infrastructure if it is not wanted. |
rottennaija:That is the antithesis they are selling to the Southerners, who despite being suspicious of the North, can't help themselves from supporting the argument if it will make Amaechi and Buhari look bad. 20years from now, no one would remember the political animosity against Buhari or Amaechi, what will remain will be the infrastructure or lack of it. |
Yet some foolish Southerners are supporting the same Jibrin against Amaechi, claiming that the Coastal Railway was not in the original budget. Are Jibrin' s and Dogora's project in the original budget? Were they included in any subsequent amendment like Amaechi did for the coastal railway? Did the relevant ministers defend those projects during the budget defence? Lastly, did Jibrin wait for a supplementary budget before inserting his own personal projects outside the statutory allocation for constituency projects? Yet the same Jibrin is telling Amaechi and the President to wait till a new supplementary budget is raised by the executive before a critical project can be approved. The problem with hate is that people self-destruct, thinking they are hurting their enemies. Some are determined that Buhari must not achieve anything good within their political domain, as if he was responsible for the failure of their own son on home soil. Buhari and Amaechi may never need to use the coastal railway in their lifetime, but the supposed beneficiaries are supporting the arguments of the very person who has robbed them to make his own people happy. Years from now, a new generation of Southern bigots would proclaim that the North allocated lots of infrastructural projects to themselves, oblivious of the self-hate that caused their own neglect. |
