Infact, PDP is not a party but a cabal that was determined that Nigeria must never prosper. Their agony will surely find them. ”Neither the PDP as a party nor its spokesman have the moral authority to condemn anyone, least of all a President that is working hard to rescue Nigeria from the abyss to which it has been plunged by the former ruling party. ”For the PDP to brush aside the latest revelation that a government it sired could not account for $ 700 million from the Sovereign Wealth Fund (SWF), or the fact that the party could not account for billions of Naira in its own campaign funds, and then launch a frontal attack against a reformist government, is the height of shamelessness. ”For the ethically-challenged spokesman of the same morally-deficient party to continue to spew trash under the guise of opposition politics is totally provocative and absolutely unacceptable. Worse still, the lack of focus in the labyrinthine statements being issued by the opposition party has confirmed the prescience of the APC’s offer to the PDP’s spokesman to take a crash course in how to speak for the opposition,” PDP is indeed a shameless gathering. |

omolami: Buhari had on several occasion been challenged for his stance on probing only Jonathann's regime and have equally affirmed that he will not go beyond his immediate predicessor. I wonder why he is now persecuting and witchunting Senate President Saraki over an issue of 12 years ago. Period he was noboy still failing in his bid to become president. No Attoney General of the Federation but a senate preident is been sent to a kangaroo tribunal . Buhari should just stop these impunity because Nigerians are not fools. When Tambuwal did same, the pdp accomodated him even though the whole issue was orchestrated by APC. Why wont same apc swallow their pride and accomodate Saraki. Nigrians love Saraki and buhari hates him i think the senate should tell buhai to leave through imeachment rather than these daily embarrasment of Nigeria's No 3 man People like you are the reason why sterilisation should be advocated for couples who are incapable of transmitting intelligence. |

All I see in the post you've quoted is someone making valid claims as to the rot in the banking sector while Soludo was CBN governor. He simply failed in his oversight duties while promoting growth. But he will have no choice than step up his game when he remembers that Buhari is his president. |

He could be better than Iweala, but the rot Sanusi met in the banking industry suggest that Soludo is very awful as far as oversight and monitoring is concerned.
Most of the bank executives were having a filled day enriching themselves illegally while Soludo seemed not to be bothered or was totally clueless about the Banking industry besides the economics of recapitalisation and growth.
However, if Soludo gets the nod, I hope he would use his position as finance minister to proceed with his plan to re-denominate the Naira by removing as many zeros as possible. Our Naira amount is too much for the value that it can buy. |

We all remember how he was convicted eventually for perjury and forgery but allowed an option of fine of mere N2000. We fly to your protection oh umbrella, despise not our theft and our greed. Saraki has truly learnt his lesson that APC, unlike PDP, is not the refuge for his type of person. Femi Fani Kayode realised early and ran back to PDP where he got refuge and his court case disappeared in typical PDP efficiency when it is not a public infrastructure or utility that will benefit the masses. Saraki will end up returning all his family, including his father, have ever stolen. |

Politics › Re: Why Do The Igbos Hate Buhari? - The Nation by StOla: 7:51pm On Sep 15, 2015 |
Ioannes: i think another logical question to ask is why do igbos hate yorubas so much as u can see from their response so far. as far as they are concerned yoruba is the reason why they are not making progress as a people, yoruba is the cause of all the evil that has befallen them from time immemorial. yet they load marco polo buses everyday and head to yorubaland for sustenance.
the igbo psyche is puzzling to say the least.
they say yorubas are cowards, yet their biafran army was routinely routed and defeated by the nigerian side led by a yoruba, while their commander in chief abandoned them to their fate and ran off.
they say yorubas are dirty yet aba is the dirtiest town in nigeria.
i could continue but whats the point. they revel in their hatred. their hatred of yorubas and buhari gives purpose and meaning to their lives.
they continually lie to themselves that they are the chosen race and if not for the "yolobas" their gully infested land would be paradise.
well i doff my hat to the yoruba tribe that can hold down such a "mighty and god chosen" tribe like the igbos.
the igbos unconsciously feel that since they hate the yorubas then that means the yorubas must hate them with equal venom.
not so. what does it take for the yorubas to start a pogrom to wipe out the igbos in their midst? nothing. cos there are very few yorubas living in your non productive land. so no fear of retaliation.
the more you hate the less productive you are. yorubas dont hate you. and am sure buhari doesnt hate you, he probably despises you. lol.
give it a rest will you. and i wish you all the best in your quest for biafra. (expecting insults and curses). I concur. |

You are known for your irrelevant posts.
The real reason is that a thief with over 20yrs experience cannot be expected to eradicate theft.
No customs insider who has risen through the ranks can usher in a new era of patriotic service. A lot of new recruits are only there to continue with the decay, sadly for them the rules will change and they must adapt to the new reality that they will only truly earn a honest pay.
Yes, all the DCGCs are incapable of patriotic service when all they've known throughout their careers is to monetise their authority and portfolios. They pledge loyalty to the likes of Dangote and other big importers more than to the federal republic.
The era of the Atikus and Umaru Dikkos is over, now you have juicy posts but you'll still live and retire like Buhari, Ali Monguno or Prof Tam David West. |

Duru1: Where are most Nigerians always at the wrong end of intellectual exercise? The forces that got Ojukwu running, if it will make you happy, was led by Gen. Yakubu Gowon. It is only in a zoo such as Nigeria that ninnies such as Obasanjo or Buhari would become military head of state and democratic president. So I guess Gowon as military president led the forces while sitting on his favourite chair in Dodan barracks Ikoyi. Obasanjo took over the 3rd Marine Commando from Benjamin Adekunle. They secured the victories that eventually got Ojukwu to fear for his rich life and up and leave. That was when he realised there was nothing romantic about dying a hero. The Biafran government eventually surrendered to Obasanjo. What were you yapping about intellectual exercise again? |

What is a man like Ben Bruce even doing in the NASS when he should be vying for the governorship of his state?.... What impact can 1 man possibly make as a senator in a country like Nigeria? Ben Bruce already did vie but lost the primary ticket to Dickson for the 1st term. He was compensated with a senatorial ticket that's why you know him as a senator. |

Duru1: At least, Obasanjo got to British West Africa Military Academy in Teshie, Ghana were he was flunked not ones but twice by one Captain Chukwuemeka Ojukwu and he was weeded away from proceeding to RMA, Sandhust, UK. And this Obasanjo eventually led the forces that got Ojukwu running to Abidjan while they conquered his Biafra. Same Obasanjo would become military head of state and democratic president, 2 great heights this same Ojukwu aspired to but fell short true to stature. At least, we know Buhari excelled in his own military cadet course in the UK and senior military courses in the USA. |

MizMyColi: He did not mention anything about the PDP, there is no need roping them in. He merely took us down memory lane, and except a person has chosen to be narrow minded, aside sounding angry, the points he made should not be waved away with a side hand. For all we know, President Buhari's admittance into the NA might have been a product of Nepotism and not merit, as uptil this day, we are yet to see a copy of said certificate. We are only told it is with the NA. I have always said that if Mr Buhari is true to his words on sincerity and integrity, there are certain needless controversies he would have put to rest. The certificate saga is one of them.
2. His anger (if he truly is/was) is not far-fetched. The topic speaks about a 2015 president Buhari who is so keen on driving away corruption, meanwhile, according to Duru1's opinion, this is the same man who was admitted to the NA based on nepotistic tendencies, an extension of which led to his overthrow in 1966.
Talk begets talk Whose certificate have you also seen if I may ask? Did you see Obasanjo's own or is nepotism nothern while merit is southern? Did Buhari not already admit that his certificate had been destroyed during the course of his military career and sworn an affidavit stating so and referring to those copies duly submitted to the army as evidence of academic qualification? Did the electoral umpire have any issues with this affidavit? Did the army deny he did not have results tendered before entry into the army? Or whose responsibility is it to safely keep documents tendered by the admitted students? Did his school not release a statement of result that tallied with what the army had in their own entry admission documents? Did the school not also release the Cambridge master sheet with the same results already publicised by the army? Did the Cambridge master sheet not contain results of other known and acknowledged classmates as truly scored by each candidate? Did the other names of the classmates not buttress the widely circulated class picture of Buhari and his mates in their graduating year? Did all the false stories about the North not offering local languages as a subject in that year not get shredded by the replies of Cambridge to queries on that subject matter? More like suppositions and wild claims beget silence. Buhari will not be distracted by the irresponsible PDP. |
