Why must PDP and its supporters continue to support anyone being investigated or prosecuted for corruption even when they are not PDP members?

The Court of Appeal has dismissed the ex-parte application by Senate President, Bukola Saraki, seeking to set aside the order made on Friday by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) issuing bench warrant for Saraki’s arrest.

It said it cannot interfere with the proceedings pending at the lower court.
It will be in the interest of notice for the respondents to be put on notice.

Double loss.

Not even a law maker is above the law. The adjournment of the case at the federal high court (that doesn't even have jurisdiction over the CCT) without any stay of proceedings given in his favour, must have brought him back to his senses.

That adjournment made whatever prayers tabled at the appeal court to determine jurisdiction of the FHC over CCT irrelevant.

So even the the case at the court of appeal to determine the jurisdiction or otherwise of the federal high court could not have helped Saraki, since the federal high court that has no jurisdiction over the CC Tribunal has even adjourned the case without granting any stay of proceedings.

Saraki has only evaded the arrest warrant, he must still show up in court as ordered.
