I'm talking about multiple taxes, about overtaxation, about cronyism, a clear disregard for the people for whom supposedly these things are in place. Are you aware for example that C of O in a place like Ikoyi is about N60m? Are you aware that new car licence fees is about N300k(don't doubt this)?

I support the payment of proportionate taxes but not overburdening the paying few in the name of giving them dividends of democracy, afterall, the LIRS themselves admit that they've just captured just about 25% of the taxable people.

On cronyism, what is Makanjuola Alabi doing in LASAA when he is also a practitioner, cornering the juicest locations for himself? So many examples of this in Fashola's govt.

Can't understand you. Some of these boreholes were sunk by engineers of Lagos Water Corporation and other qualified water engineers. Most boreholes are regularly treated and fair enough the bulk of people living on the Island rely on water bought from tanker drivers gotten from the mainland. If the MD can now come to propose this trash, then I think he should go back to playing polo. He's obviously not in tune with reality.
