I have TONNES of respect for this senator. He is an Ezigbo nwa (good son) of Igboland. I would follow him to anywhere. cool cool
Are u serious? This is the same man that almost threw Nigeria into another civil war under Abacha.

PoliticsRe: OGD's Killer Squad by stormm: 8:03am On Jun 22, 2010
Now we know how all the money accruing to the state is spent; N1m every month to Gani Adams grin grin grin. No wonder the guy recently celebrated his birthday for almost a month.

Another N5m for 'babalawo'. Dis OGD no go kill person with lafta. grin grin grin

The most amazing is being 'in Egypt among very strong Egyptians' - Juju Incorporated. If OGD gets the N100b bond, me too go do babalawo with office in Abeokuta(oko oso, oko aje) I go soon hammer be that cool cool

Wale of course cannot exonerate himself(in Egypt), in this instance lets look at the message.

May God save us from the hands of the emperor and his goons.

PoliticsRe: 3000 Nigeria's Ex-militants Invade Ghana by stormm: 10:43pm On Jun 17, 2010
Sir Kay:
This is no scam. I read it in the dailies and heard their interviews more than three times on Joy FM here. Let's see how it unfolds.
Read in the dailies? Ha ha, I laugh in pidgin. Are u a Nigerian at all? Are jounalists omnipotent that they cannot be questioned? Bros, anybody can say anything, in reality the reverse is the case. Media can be manipulated anytime, na coins na.

But seriously, the media is a purveyour of news, not generate the news by themselves. So depending on the gatekeeper and the business angle(sales), the edotor can blow things out of proportion provided it increases ratings which translates to sales. I was in the media and I know as much. Its called 'newsworthy' and it generate sales.

Think seriously, what will a 'militant' want in Ghana where its not business as usual?
PoliticsRe: 3000 Nigeria's Ex-militants Invade Ghana by stormm: 4:50pm On Jun 17, 2010
Sir Kay

Its a scam. Criminals will go to any extent to perpetuate their acts. It was safer for Ibori to remain in Nigeria and hole up in Oghara. Its safer for these criminals to remain in their creeks than to go to Ghana where the security is tight.
PoliticsRe: 3000 Nigeria's Ex-militants Invade Ghana by stormm: 11:29am On Jun 17, 2010
@Sir Kay

I understand your apprehensions about Niger Delta militancy and the likely effects on  Ghana's polity. But I think you misunderstand the concept of militancy in the Niger Delta. Militancy in the Niger Delta region was initially an expression of discontent, but it grew to become a multi-million dollar business. The Tompolos, General Boyloaf , MEND etc are protecting their businesses and not in anyway connected to political agitations. Illegal bunkering, kidnap for ransome etc are businesses that these guys can ONLY do in Nigeria.

Genuine agitation stopped with Saro-wiwa.

I'm sure you've heard about local-content in the Nigerian oil industry. Who are the beneficiaries of this policy? The so-called militants of course, determining who gets what contract from even multi-national oil corporations.

Of what use is a so-called Niger Delta association in Ghana when the Federal Govt has accomodated them so much as to even have an Alaibe(allegedly a promoter of militancy when policies don't favour him) as a go-between.

Bros, to use the local lingo, na scam.

I'm sure you understand English language. Yes there is something called tautology, its just about pointing out what is wrong and not resort to abuse like a deranged idiot. Well it is NL, the virus has afflicted otherwise sane people.

Eddeux:
What neighbor of Nigeria has the capability to invade? Benin, Togo, Niger, Chad? grin grin grin grin
Ol soldier, exactly my sentiments. Who are we fighting? When the military took over Haiti, it took just a visit by the American General, can't readily remember his name naow, for their generals to run away from the presidential palace and their president was reinstalled. These days, we talk more of economic power than military might. Military might now is a function of upping your defence budget.

I sympathise with you on the pension issue once again. Nigeria is not known to celebrate its heroes, dead and alive. And of course, your generals stole the country to pieces and ruined our collective patrimony.
CrimeRe: Islam Is Against Soccer? by stormm: 2:53pm On Jun 15, 2010
@ Aloy-Emeka,

Your response on this falls below ur much acclaimed intellectual capability. We are all aware of the probs in Somalia. These actions could only have been borne out of collective frustrations in Somalia.

Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq and other acclaimed Islamic states from the persian gulf take part in competitive football. Turkey is an acknowledged football powerhouse. Somalia is a failed state with bandits in control of its larger area.
first, i am a retired nigerian soldier and my personal quote has always been 'stronger than nails' Glad to stumble on this. But where are all the military pensions going to, the arrears that has been left unpaid for decades now to retired military personnel's. why flaunt the nigeria soldier capabilities in weapons when they still suffer in abject dejection, even after risking their lives in wars and several peace keeping missions.

pls stop posting this weapons. why show your anus to your enemy, it is not all that right to tell everything you got to the world, i mean weapons and all.

if you want to know me you ask ask anything.
Sir, I do sympathise with u on d pension issue. But are we still in the dark days of the East/West divide? More wars are won now without as much as firing a shot. To me most of the pix here are just another way of advertising military hardware for nations to justify their defence budget. With so much federal allocation(the highest), you can imagine the quality of miltary hardware the Nigerian army has. But who are we fighting really, the militants in the Niger delta or Cameroon gendarmes? Military equipment is one big industry and one big fraud.

Now that the PDP people have taken over the discussion, I think its better to leave  them in their self delusion. Segxy, figilo etc are just kinda the same pple.

They find it extremely difficult to engage in any meaningful debate. Sha,  me sorry for Ogun State
segxydanoy:
@akanbi, you said i cant give the account of his achievement, well if u want to know better i think u should consult the him,or the press, but i will still tell u a little about his achievement, for someone to be awarded as the 2nd best local government chairman in Nigeria and also the best local government chairman in ogun state is not an easy task, when governor went to his yewa north local government to commission what he has done, believe me , he can not finish the commissioning of the project because its too much, go and check who has such image and success .

olusoji for governor of ogun state 2011, no tackle
I laugh in vernacular. So this qualifies your guy to be the guv eh? What about his NYSC issue? Did he go beyond OND? Is he one of OGD's thugs? Now you are afflicted with the Nigerian virus of attributing idiocy to God? Does Ogun State need somebody like 'ASUJE'? Definitely NO.

With this thinking, you really need to see a shrink and damn fast too.
