Hmm i know someone who said she already got her offer, she’s resuming in January! BUT I haven’t seen the letter. That’s just what she told me. She said her husband got it for her.

It is very possible but information at my disposal is that letter will be out early next year...

Please everyone let’s try to be accurate. So my brother has been in NPA for sometime, we got offered Nimasa, FIrS and NPA. I took the NpA and my sister went for the Firs! Long story her job is entering my eye but Alhamdulillah I’m starting a new job next month so my high b.p has come down 😂 but to be fair, FiRS just got approved for hazard and meal allowance recently so most likely a lot of people don’t know about it.

You are a big man oooo. I dey pray to get job at NPA.... Congratulations on ur new job. More breakthroughs

We don’t have as much allowances as FIRS and the salary is pretty much the same. I wish we had that in NpA. As a matter of fact that’s why I’m leaving NPA.

Sanwo-Olu approves wage award, December bonus for state and local government workers

16th December 2023

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved N35,000 wage award for the state public servants.

This was just as he also approved the payment of 50% of basic salary as an end-of-year bonus for all political appointees and public servants, employees of local governments and local council development areas, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board and the Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps.

The approval was contained in a circular obtained by PUNCH Online, signed by the Lagos State Head of Service, Bode Agoro, with reference number CIR/HOS/’23/Vol. 1/ 109.

The circular titled ‘2023 End Of Year Bonus And Implementation Of Wage Awards’, stated that the governor approved the payments as part of his administration’s appreciation of public servants’ contribution towards the progress of the state, as well as his commitment to their welfare.

The statement further noted that the end-of-year bonus and the wage award which would be paid alongside December 2023 salary, would be non-taxable.

The statement reads, “As part of the present administration’s continuous appreciation of the contributions of all public servants towards the advancement of the state and its unrelenting commitment to the welfare of its workforce, it is hereby notified for general information that Mr. Governor has graciously approved the payment of 50% of basic salary as end-of-year bonus for all political appointees and public servants, including employees of local governments and local council development areas, Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board and Lagos Neighborhood Safety Corps.

“In the same vein, Mr. Governor has further approved the implementation of the wage award (palliative) pending the review of the national minimum wage.

“Therefore, the 50% of basic salary as an end-of-year Bonus, as well as the wage award palliative), will be paid alongside the December 2023 salary as a “non-taxable element”.

“Sequel to the foregoing, public servants are implored to continually strive for excellence in providing qualitative service delivery to the people of the State in line with Mr Governor’s THEMES+ Agenda.

“Accordingly, all heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies are hereby enjoined to note the content of this circular and give it the service-wide publicity it deserves.”

I will support Wat the guy said 100% if the sister works in State inland revenue service and others. ... Some agencies pay very well in few states... It is not limited to University and Polytechnic...

I am aware that some states pay as low as 70k to level 9... But it will be a fallacy of hasty generalization for anyone to say all state don't pay good salary.

Also, what will the guy gain if he lied about his sis salary? You don't no maybe they pay them some allowances which they don't pay in your state. I will chat you via WhatsApp Hassan

NDDC: Something is going on underground, if you don't have someone Influential to submit your CV, please don't even bother yourself as the slots are mostly shared by politicians.

NCDMB: Something might or about to happen soon. There's a lot of interest, you might need 10G connect to pull through. The man at the Content Tower doesn't give a f**k about anyone. Also there's a big "But" and a lot which I can't share here. The list has been there for awhile but a lot could still happen after the PNC forum conference next week.

I also stated her entry salary which was not 100k.

Huh? You posted the salary of Teaching Service Commission in Lagos. Is that enough in a state with lower standard of living not to talk of Lagos?

The person who said no state pays 100k is absolutely correct. Unless you work in health or justice or tertiary institutions, state salaries are very poor. There's always exemption to laws. The exemption in this case is health, justice and probably staff of tertiary institutions.

Sincerely.. I do not have time for blind argument... Coz the person didn't except health or others..

I find it so funny when people just wake from their comfort zone and type what they assumed...I can mention three to four agencies in Lagos that pays very well..This will be the end of my conversation with u here...

Well lagos state civil service is understandable coz of the very high standard of living. Imagine working in the Island and you live in mainland, or even the stretch in mainland is killing too, imagine working in places like Ikeja and you live in Ikorodu or Ikotun. Earning 100k in lagos is like earning 60k or even less in places like Delta.

U are 100% right.. In Lasuth... Many people travelled out . They went on strike, protest for increment of salary .. If you are collecting 100k In Lagos .. You might end up spending 30k or more on transport... Accommodation is killing.... High cost /standard of living compare to other States..

The fact is that, they don't want people to know they are earning good salary . I remember someone posted it on this page sometimes that no State in Nig pay BSc holders up to 100+... So funny

69k was on the APL.. After deduction of tax and others.. 58k[Olevel] ... ND holders 100+
