I journal for self reflection. Nairaland is a stupid place so updating my journal is like being in a sensory deprivation chamber away from the maddening chaos. When I’m done with that it’s back to flinging feces with the Neanderthals who populate this forum. They make for good reading during downtimes and cement my comment-making skill.

I usually say to myself.. If spirits are real, why hide in the shadows and try to scare with with sensations and phantasms. Why not appear, grab me and kill or scare the shiit outta me? Perhaps they are afraid of me.

The most logical, straight to the point advice always gets resisted in this forum. Ignorance is hard to part from humans.

OP could physically be reacting to something in the room; maybe a different brand of paint used there than in others, components of the mattress, dust or insects and finally toxins which blow in the wind only to that direction of the house. Those replies are not as interesting as hearing that spirits and witches congregate nightly over his matter.

I don’t suspect foul play. The guy surely drowned. Good swimmers can pull a muscle, find it difficult to swim to the surface then drown in panic. He went for a swim before the lifeguard resumed for duty and thus is the result.

Update: My flight went smoothly. It seems morning flights are the priority for Nigerian airlines. By 6:45 a.m. we were called for boarding towards the appointed 7:00 a.m. journey. In the airplane we spent an extra 45 minutes waiting for latecomers, other departing planes and finally making all preparations before we took off. I had zero complaints at the end of the day. It seems morning flights are what I’ll pick whenever considering journeys. Once in a while I’ll journey by road, but if the money is there I’ll spend it without thinking twice.

Lol. I recall one time I flew to PH from Abuja. It was suppose to be a morning flight by 10am, eventually, we left by 4:30pm. E for better if person been follow road.

Exactly what I kept telling myself throughout the ordeal. I can deal with the associated body pain from long road travels. Anyway, the convenience of air travel was appreciated at the end as I felt really fresh on finally reaching the destination.

That’s all, seven years? Prison is not so scary then. He should not step on toes so akatas don’t kpai him. He’ll come out looking fit. It’s not like he had anything going in the outside world so he’ll come out after feeding fat on US taxpayer money.
