Then you should do something about her "unemployed situation". You know not all relationships should lead to marriage. Relationships should be about what you can offer to the next person, not really what you want from them. If you have the wherewithal to empower her (a lil from your seven figure salary), you should do that. Empowerment doesn't necessarily have to be about giving her money. While she is waiting to be employed, does she have any passions that can fetch some form of income from? Have you talked her into getting anymore educational qualifications that would give her an edge against the other millions of graduates being churned out from schools? Does she have a business plan that you can finance? You should help her.
Even if she doesn't end up being as financially independent as you want her to be and end up marrying the other broad, she would never forget you and how you touched her life(as long as sex isnt involved).

Maymay1 do not be scared. There are a couple of options to stop the bleeding. Tranxemic acid, primolut N etc.

When I still had fibroids and just 3 months after my wedding I started my period and bled for 6months str8. Took lots of primolut N, tranxemic acid tablets and injections, depo provera...nothing worked. Even my doctor had to refer me to M&C and the doctor recommended Lupron injections... That was my saviour!!! The bleeding stopped after 2 months of taking the injections (1 per month, 75k per shot).
But this was 3 years after I discovered I had fibroids o. So if the scan only just picked up the fibroids now it shouldn't be troubling you already. Maybe you took something that made it grow rapidly...like clomid?
Keep taking the birth control pills, hopefully it should work.
Don't take any blood tonic that has folic acid..actually you should only take iron tablets.

I remember some years ago when i had painful cramps one cycle. I took cataflam and the pain went away immediately, i was happy. My next cycle the pain I experienced could wake a dead body!!!! I couldnt leave my house, i couldnt eat, i was rolling on the floor and worst thing was my mum refused to give me the cataflam again . Before my next cycle my mum advised i stay off sweet things (fizzy drinks) and cold stuff about a week before my period and i took paracetamol before my period (i start getting the pains 5days before my period starts) and i was ok.
That said, i know progesterone helps with PMS. if you can get the progesterone cream (rather expensive sha, about 11k at healthplus) or cyclogest.
Lets be careful what we ingest ooo. I was on prescription parlodel for high prolactin then the same doctor prescribes Fertilaid some weeks later and i did not remember to ask about the contra indications of both drugs. Turns out my hormones were totally messed up and my last cycle was 18days .
Another thing learnt! What a wonderful learning journey im on. I told my sis that has 4 kids i was going for HSG and she asks 'what is HSG?' Some people are lucky not have to go through this much knowledge gathering as we are doing but it shall end in praise.
