funkydoll:Please see a doctor. Your weight loss is quite much |
@ProfAmah pretty impressive B.S. Congratulations!! |
rvpbae:Unfortunately, you can only save one who wants to be saved. She has to agree to you keeping part of her money for her else she'd start getting weird thoughts and weird thoughts could lead to evil actions. |
MamaOO:Doing good. How's our big boy doing? |
@rvpbabe...long read My nanny has been with me for 3+yrs...she's my friend's niece and she brought her to me when she waa about same age as yours From the beginning, the agreement was she'd be with me for 3yrs, save up money to go to nursing school and I was hoping she could still study from my house because she's a blessing to my family tbh. She's the last of her family and her dad is late. So from the beginning, her aunt told her family she wasn't being paid so they wouldn't disturb her for money. She had a previous account where she had all access to but for the purpose of saving, I opened a new account for her. She doesn't have atm or online access to the account, she only receives SMS notifications when I transfer her salary to her. I give her a small percentage of her salary (5k) for personal use and maybe to send to her family if push comes to shove. When she wants to send money to her mum, she tells me before the month-end and I transfer the money to her aunt's account who sends it to her mum. When her siblings (all older and one even married) eventually found out she was being paid, it's been one request or the other but since she doesn't have access to the bulk of her money she sends from the personal upkeep money..unless when it's unrealistic like her brother asking her to send him money to get married.. Initially, she was feeling guilty that she wasn't sending money to her siblings but my hubby and I had to sit her down and explain to her that it'd be unfair for her to be working her b*tt off and someone else feeling entitled to her sweat. She understands now and I don't even have to monitor her account. So first you have to sit her down and explain to her why she needs to save money. She wouldn't want to be a nanny for you forever, she needs to save money to go to school and better her life. So she can someday be in your position with a goodlife and money to be able to afford the luxuries of life. Then if possible, open another account where she doesn't have access to....im not a fan of keeping her money so she doesn't start thinking you don't want to pay her. And plan to give her something out of her salary for the month. If I may ask, what happens to the proceeds from her farm? That should be another source of income for her mom..worse case scenario |
Anni3e:Only a silly man puts his extended family before his immediate family. When he dies, you and your kids wouldn't get a faden from his siblings....this has played out way too many times before. Set up an education fund for your kids and put money aside for their education. Get the property and put it in your name or your kids cos his siblings will come even in death to collect what they can. If he is willing to see the future he's creating for you and the kids, let him feign a serious sickness that requires money from his siblings and see how they'd leave him in the lurch. |
giftfromGod:No need for the 'ma' ![]() Yes please do exercise, i mentioned that in my initial reply to you. Skipping, jogging, dancing etc you can do on your own as gyms are still shut. After the juicing, you can search for ketogenic lifestyle on Facebook, the way of life will help you lose weight and correct hormones. You'd find both locally grown and imported celery at ShopRite (fridge, fruits section). The imported one is bigger (1st pix) and obviously more expensive than the local one (2nd pix) but both do the same work.

@omojudy I remember your struggles from the TTC thread and I'm delighted at this news. Congratulations!!!! |
giftfromGod:How long ago was the SFA done? What was the result? Not withstanding, if he hasn't led a good lifestyle in the last 3 months his swimmers might not be in top shape. So I'd recommend he goes on a supplement too. Manix and vit E is a good combo. Did you do a HSG after your surgery to confirm your tubes are open? Sometimes the surgery can cause a bit of adhesion that still affects the tube. If you haven't, I'd recommend you do. And when they are passing the dye, ask if it's passing freely else ask them to help you pass it again to remove any adhesion. You need egg boosters. If you can get the fat burner I posted, please do. Each serving contains 333mg of inositol, in a day you'd get almost 1000mg. Alpha pharmacy in Ikeja stocks it (3k5)...medplus also had it but slightly more expensive(4k4). Pregnacare conception also has inositol but in a low dose of 50mg/day(not recommending this) For lifestyle change for you, try doing a green juice detox (1-3 days depending on what you can endure) my favorite combo is cucumber+celery+apple+pineapple+lemon. Normalize slicing lemon +cucumber in your drinking water, it helps give it a nice taste and makes you drink a lot of water |
miracletoday:This is a safe haven for your rant, we understand how you feel and most of us are either going through same thing or did at some point. Sometimes the knowledge and research we do end up benefiting others and not us because God comes through to show that He is the giver of children...so after all the research and googling and buying stuff, the month you decide to 'rest and forget about TTC', boom! the belle enters as you'd see from some old testimonials. Don't get frustrated, see this as a learning phase and leave God to do his work. |
Lilliesbud12:Search for comments from both Blendy77 and Oleayo22. They both used serrapeptase/castor oil massage and tubal flushing to clear blocked tubes |
giftfromGod:How old are you and how long have you been trying to get pregnant (even before the myomectomy)? Has your husband done SFA recently? On supplements: personally, what has worked for me is a twist. The supplement is actually for weight management but it contains very good ingredients for fertility. It contains: Inositol which is good for women having issues with ovulation, L-carnitine and vit B6. Product is Mason fat burner. Depending on your location and if you can't find this, you can buy myo-inositol supplement of a high dose.

giftfromGod:Fibroids doesn't affect ovulation. It can affect conception if the location blocks sperm from meeting with the egg in the uterus not stop you from ovulating. -Download an ovulation tracker app and input your details. Flo is very good -Take your supplements to improve egg quality -Exercise and eat healthy and drink lots of water -The ovulation tracking app gives you an idea of when you'd ovulate and a fertile window. -BD every other day before, during and after your fertile window but don't stress too much. -Use water based lubricant when you BD. KY jelly or Preseed -Dont get up from the bed after BD, just prop a pillow under your butt and sleep off. -Your husband should also do a lifestyle change. Eat healthy, exercise, take supplements for men The month I took in I didn't see egg white CM even though I see it sometimes in previous months *Modified* Please don't take the Nigerian folic acid (5mg) if you have fibroids, they make them grow. |
Bisade44:Amazing product. Still use it on my toddler, he had very dry skin as a baby and Aveeno healed his skin |
@oyedejiopeoluwa Apart from the cost, also research on when during your cycle these tests can be done so you don't end up wasting your money. E.g HSG after period but before ovulation. Hormonal profile on cycle day 3 and 21 etc. Letrozole is also not taken only one day. It's usually taken for 5 days... Do follow up with your recommending doctor to get all the info you need |
yebo:In this case, she should seek a 3rd, 4th and probably a 5th opinion In my case, over the years I had them, I saw doctors at different times and they all said same thing. Surgery to remove them for pregnancy to occur. If they all say to go for surgery, she should. |
Mumbuk731:It does work. |
megastu:If you say so. |
Mumbuk731:Read the instructions for manix. |
steveng23:Please go ahead with the HSG. The advantages outweighs whatever dangers he 'thinks' it poses. |
Scholarnwadimma:New sperm is formed every 3months so it'd take 3 months for him to have any sperm quality improvement while on medication |
stinorhymes:A woman is ideally supposed to start taking folic acid at least 3 months before conception. Only folic acid usually suffices until the doctor recommends prenatal supplements, but she can go ahead and start taking prenatal after confirmation of pregnancy. Unfortunately for some women, due to morning sickness they can't tolerate anything else but folic acid for the first few weeks. Most prenatals come in a single dose tablet containing all required vitamins. |
Congratulations MamaB89 |
.. |
flyfit:Ok |
steveng23:Since you've been trying for over a year and particularly because your wife is above 35, you should work with a fertility specialist to achieve your goals |
