@thejourney200

How's her fluid intake? She might need to take more fluids as it 'might' be the cause of the headache.
The 2nd trimester is generally unproblematic but not always. Each woman has different ailments both minor and major they go through all through pregnancy while some others breeze through without issues.

We have done the heartbeat test for the baby which has been confirmed and that is why i have the boldness to share this.
.
Congratulations. Wish you a healthy and happy pregnancy.
Results are usually faster when both parties are involved in the process. What we find happen mostly is all blame being heaped on the woman and ego and whatever keeps the man from even doing a simple SFA.

Help me to explain this result
Fibroids of 2cm size present.
Scan was done on CD8 and the right ovary was already 27mm... there's a very high possibility ovulation occurred.
The HSG results will give a clearer picture of the effects of the fibroids.

Is the count 212 or 21.2? If the former, then that's fantastic. Your count/mortility and morphology are good to go. But this was from last year and new sperm is produced every 3 months. So maintain or improve on your healthy living and your swimmers will remain ok

pls I have low progesterone, pls which progesterone drug can I use?
My dear, I went through your previous posts and I'd be sincere with you.
Has your husband repeated an SFA after the last one of 13M? If he doesn't have a count of a minimum of 20M with good mortility and at least 50% active then he might not be able to impregnate you.
If your HSG was good (bilateral tubal potency) and the hormonal profile result I saw (although there isn't a range but it doesn't seem bad) then all you need is pregnacare conception while your husband needs manix+vit E to increase his sperm count. Unless you are above 35 then I'd recommend myo-inositol or ovaboost

Fairhaven changed the packaging of thier products so yes it's the same

Hello mamas,

Please has anyone heard about or seen a fake serrapeptase? I’m asking because I got a price that is too good to be true for serra 270 capsules. Not that it is too cheap but compared to the prices I’m seeing, it’s the cheapest so far. So I’m left wondering if it is fake or that the seller still has old stock at hand. Nothing is impossible you know?
Compare the price on Amazon for confirmation.
It might be an expiry date issue....maybe it's about to expire so confirm that.

Thanks a lot sabi mama.

I have just ordered from Jumia.

So so grateful, you are a life saver.
Uwc.

My son from zero to 3months struggled to suck my breasts..my nipples are ok but he just didn't like to eat (still doesn't like to eat). He will rather sleep than suck. Unfortunately for me when he was 3months old I had a really bad cold and to avoid passing it to him I opted for expressing milk and bottle-feeding him, he got used to the bottle and preferred it so much that he totally refused sucking directly from me. But I was intent on exclusively breastfeeding him until 6months, so I continued expressing milk to bottle-feed him.
To say it was frustrating is putting it very mildly because you know it's the action of sucking that increases breast milk supply so I was struggling to produce milk. I ate all sorts and took all sorts, fenugreek inclusive until the milk finally dried up at 9months. But I was able to achieve our 6months exclusive breastfeeding, he got more than enough milk and we are reaping the benefits now.

So do not be depressed. It might take a little more effort since your baby is already used to bottle but keep trying with breastfeeding, expressing more frequently (3 times a day is little) and hopefully the nipple extender will also make a lot of difference.

Your explanation really came at the right time.

By baby of 3 weeks is yet to suck due to this inverted/flat nipple issue.

I use breast pump at least thrice daily to extract breast milk for him and when I try to give him breast to suck the nipple disappears even immediately after stimulating using the breast pump.

Please do you know where one can get the breast shell or nipple enhancer?

Though my baby is currently on formula at the moment, it is not satisfying for me plus this is my first baby.

Please help a depressed sister.
Sorry about that....
Jumia has a nipple xtender....but let me tag mama Zaynie if she has them or can help you get one.

No body ever replies my question why
I thought about you and this post in the bathroom this morning and made a mental note to try and answer some questions.

Sometimes it feels like your questions are being ignored... especially in the beginning. It's not intentional. You can start with tagging one or two people with your questions (like your team cappo or experienced Mamas)

On the waist pain, unfortunately it's part of the package cry if your 30weeks tummy is already making people ask if you haven't delivered then maybe your bump is measuring more than your baby's gestation. If you live abroad and can find pregnancy support girdle, it'll help relieve the stress on your waist. Else you can find extra strength Tylenol (acetaminophen is safe in pregnancy) and take as needed.

On the plenty questions: if I were in your shoes I'd tell them my stomach is just bigger than usual and give them a delivery month after your due date. So if I were due in August, I'd tell them baby is expected in September so they stop pestering me on why the baby hasn't come.

Flat nipples: yes some people have flat or even inverted nipples...it's nothing to worry about. They're various techniques how to breastfeed with flat/inverted nips including wearing breast shells, using breast pump or nipple enhancer to pull it out.
For the scally stuff, I think you can get nipple cream and apply as needed.

I'm new here
My first will be 3 years in few days and I have been ttcing for the past one year, recently I don't notice any ovulation sign. So I decided to buy OPK to predict ovulation, since two days now I have been getting negative results. My last cycle was 30 days, the past ones have been 26 days, that's why I decided to start on CD11.
I don't have much OPKs, it's too expensive cry.
Rant over
Unfortunately we don't have access to cheap ovulation tracking strips in naija, you'd have to order from Amazon for a relatively cheap 50pieces ovulation test strips (wondfo).
*Suggestion*
You can dedicate one month to run TVS and actually track/confirm ovulation. Once you've confirmed you don't have issues ovulating, you can just use ovulation tracking apps and bd every other day during your fertile window.

Questiontime:
Dear All. I and my wife have been TTC. We recently did an IVF recently and to God be the glory she came out Positive. The transfer was done 3weeks ago. 3 embryos were transfered. Today, we went to the hospital for another reason and the hospital because of pending lockdown in the country asked us to do a scan. The scan was actually meant to be in the 4th week but we did it in the 3rd week. The result showed one sack was valid. We were advised to redo the scan on Saturday.
I want to asked, is it possible that the scan was done prematurely and hence the reason for the seeming poor result. Is their a chance that the other embryos would still grow before the next scan.
PS.. I am hopeful.
I don't know much about IVF but I pray all the embryos stick and you see them by your next scan

Doctor said it wasn't but there was actually no specific cause , two weeks earlier baby was fine on ultrasound and the next doctors appointment baby was without heart rate , my wife is still on fibromed and we are still trying to concieve , is there a need to take fertility drugs
Sorry for the ordeal.
Personally, im not a proponent of taking drugs for fibroids...the only proven drug that shrinks fibroids is lupron injections...but that's only advised prior to surgery.
Your wife might need to run some tests to be sure her hormones are back to normal, HSG to check the tubes are open and TVS to track ovulation.
You should also do SFA to check your swimmers are in top shape.

Good day sabi Mamas.
Please, kindly help with the interpretation of this HSG result.
Thanks Mas.
Hello.
Unfortunately you have fibroids (myoma) and it's blocking your right tube.
Fortunately, your left tube is free and conception can still occur.

unit of measurement is mm,
I thought so.
Large fibroids are said to be >5cm.
A single 4cm*4cm fibroid shouldn't be a cause for concern depending on the location.
Was the fibroid the cause of the previous miscarriage?

Hey Docs in the house, well done my wife has been trying to concieve since January, we lost a 5 month preggy last December (First issue) after evacuation uterine fibroid became a little bigger but not above 6.5cm( if I'm right ) she's been on fibromed for a month now and she missed her period for three days after which started spotting with brownish blood. We decided to go for a PT and scan , Scan revealed a 40+ by 42 size of fibroid and PT came back negative , period is yet to flow just spot , kindly advise accordingly
What's the unit of measurement? Confirm its mm not cm.. because 40cm is the size of a watermelon. If it's that big her stomach will definitely show even without scan.
I believe it's 40mm*42mm that's 4cm*4.2cm

Lyoncrescent:
We couldn't make it today but we would go to olan tomorrow. I think the key thing for me and my wife is not just the hospital but the experience and competency of the obn/gyn consultant that we are going to see. Not everyone of them is experienced in handling high risk pregnancies even though it's all in the hand of God you want the best care. Olan said we will be seen by Dr Emmanuel soyoola. I checked him out and he seems good. Nothing exceptional that most consultants in Nigeria don't have but I prefer someone who also has empathy.

I remember when we had a miscarriage at over 9 weeks last year at mother and child near omole, I feel we didn't get enough empathy or information or counselling. It was tough and the consultant we saw there later told us that the best thing is to remove the fibroid even though they were not conclusive that the miscarriage was caused by the fibroid and we had been assured that the fibroid won't trouble the child. The bill for the operation was 900k which we were ready to pay but my wife was such in an emotional state that operation wasn't an option . The funny thing is we saw our baby in the ultrasound and the doctor at mother and child said all was fine, an hour later she was in pain and the baby literally came out on its own when she was coughing and stretching in pain. After counseling somewhere else and all, we got pregnant again and here we are. I'm not an expert and I'm sure the doctors did their best but I didn't feel there was enough empathy especially for my wife. That's why we are Searching. All in all,I'm not running down mother and child just sharing my experience and I recognize some of these things are the will of God and no matter how expert the doctor is, God's will will be done however when God's will is done, medical practitioners should show empathy and counselling especially when you literally saw it come out. It is well. We stay strong and we carry till full term.

For Christians in the house, Exodus 23:26 New Living Translation (NLT)
26 There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.
I do understand this and I pray you find all you wish for in the doctor/clinic.
Affliction shall not rise again, I wish you both a healthy pregnancy.
If you haven't already, do get a copy of supernatural childbirth and speak into your child.
All the best.

Greetings mamas in the house,May God answer us all..This battle will be over and we shall smile by God's grace..Please I Ve been struggling with fibroid for quite a while, used herbal medicine, had surgery about three years ago but the fibroid is there again causing delay.
Please house,do you know any
1.potent herbal medicine that can work effectively to remove the fibroid and probably where I can get the herbs...or even it it's d names,I can go to herbs store and ask.
2.i am also considering surgery,do you know where I can get hysterescopy myomectomy done and probably the cost implications.
This journey has been financially demanding and emotionally overwhelming but I know that my God is bigger than this problems.
Shalom!
Sorry about your ordeal.
How did the fibroids grow back so soon?
Are you sure it's the fibroids causing delay or other factors?
I wouldn't recommend herbal remedies tbh. If you are resident in Lagos you might want to check south shore women's hospital/Nordica for hysteroscopic myomectomy
