However, he has been challenged once on the Student's thread as well as Bj's thread where he openly debunked these claims. Abeg let us free him so we don't derail the thread.

You could have prepared yourself with burden of proof and necessary documents and gotten your visa but you didn't.

There's the F1 Visa route to US.. Australia also does residency program...but we chose mass Exodus on visit visa thereby spoiling the chances of genuine US visitors

I don't think this has ever happened in the history of US Nigerian embassy. I guess a lot more people want to run away hence the higher refusal rate.

Your 'invitation' would do more harm than good considering you violated your visa conditions.
That said, invitations aren't really looked at during b1/b2 interviews. She has to prove she isn't a potential illegal immigrant. If her circumstances haven't changed since the previous denial, then she might be denied again.

One thing observed during my interview yesterday was the fact that quite a number had no business applying for the visa, a particular lady was bragging to the VO how she earns about 500k from her business on a good month when all she put on from head to toe was not even up to 10k ! the VO rejected her and she started making a scene and was walked out of the place.

So if she makes 500k a month she should spend all on clothing for the US embassy?
You guys should stop attaching so much importance to the value of ones appearance. As long as one looks neat and smart that's what matters not how much the clothes are worth.
