vista411: I have read many of Twood's post and I can tell he is outspoken and judgemental. I like his contribution sometimes but other times he sounds like a troll. However, he has been challenged once on the Student's thread as well as Bj's thread where he openly debunked these claims. Abeg let us free him so we don't derail the thread. Can you point me to this please? |

Integrity based on what? Those making the allegation know that there is no truth in it but just a way of getting back at him.
So what do you want him to clarify? And you are sure of this how? Thought you said you didn't know him outside of here... Just wise please enough of this tomfoolery, let twoods answer the question. |

justwise: Yes he has but you don’t like the answer He did not answer and silence most times means consent. This is not an attack on his person or style of answering questions (I have defended him at some point on this) it is a case of transparency and intergrity. |

That crook indirectly promoted that scam here and more than 8000 Nigerians were scammed, after that he went and modify the thread forgetting that I quoted the original post. 7years later and he's joined the 'cant beat them you join them' wagon. |

Charity, they say, begins at home.
I didn't ask the question to demean him, I actually love the bluntness of his replies to shenanigans. But this change that we are preaching has to start from home. If we plan to change the mindset of the average Nigerian, we have to start with those closest to us...our immediate family members, our friends and neighbors then by the principle of ripple effect, the change we seek would begin to manifest in our communities. |

seyewest: Beg to differ Mr Twoods... You should clear your name, we're not babies here and this shouldn't be hard to do.... a simple explanation will suffice. i.e. It's all lies or Yes a cousin of mine did it but I'm not involve in it.... bro you get what I'm saying abi? sharpman1: He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.
You can't go about judging people without proof when people have reasons to judge you too without proof.
Except you are okay with being referred to as a fraud too. Something like a yahoo turned legit. Summed up my next response nicely. ....he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. |

TWoods: Wrong thread. Hi twoods. I've been itching to find out the truth in the allegations leveled against you/your brother, but so far it's either you missed out on the mentions or you've deliberately made no attempt to refute them. Does silence in this case mean consent? Or did I miss the reply? |

mitnick: Pls is it possible to request for interview in my native language for a conference? Yes you can request for interview in your native language. They have interpreters that work with them at the embassy. .....but I'm curious, is the conference in your native language as well? Or it's just a very technical one that doesn't require English to be understood.... |

But then: knowledge (you and LadyG bam here wella na); travel history/visa usage both to the US and other places; our jobs and financial standing; family ties; etc will always be to our rescue as long as Nigeria itself doesn't take a plunge into the deep and go bananas.... Amen ke? That unfortunately might not happen in this our generation..... |

seyewest: Yes, you can take a picture with it. I don't think that's why he's asking. If the OP took his passport with his dreads then why would he want to appear in person without the dreads? Wouldn't it bring up questions of impersonation etc... Iamdotune do you wear the dreads to church (if you are a Christian)? Then why wouldn't you want to wear it to an ordinary visa interview? |

You are due next month, so you went for a visa interview with an 8months pregnancy and chose to tell the VO you are going for shopping/ tourism, do you guys think these people are fools? You could have prepared yourself with burden of proof and necessary documents and gotten your visa but you didn't. |

Sadsad, I think I understand your desperation for leaving Nigeria.... That's if any your stories are correct cos you seem to be spinning a whole lot of BS lies. If you are who I think you are from your previous moniker, then I'd advise you create a new email address for your future visa attempts to other countries. |

Sadsad...its people like you that give us a bad name, you're not likely to get that visa anytime soon except in your dreams offcourse.
#yeyedeysmell Actually, from her initial posts on this thread her intentions weren't obvious. She played the victim who was deceived by an agent and you lot were fooled. Are you just attacking BA because of her/his alliance with TW and choose to distort a very obvious truth? |

NeyofeedNigEnt: What's funny about the whole thing is
Those people supporting the guy all stayed abroad making destructive criticism on social media as if their noise will make any changes.
Also some that doesn't support him also stay abroad while some stay back home just going for tourism/visit.
So btw d two now who is selfish?
Everybody knew things is not working in nija at all so by staying abroad and making noise on social media won't solve anything, it will only make more damages. Come home let's fight for our right altogether.
Those that didn't support Twood knw what average Nigerians are facing and is better if they can find their way out, just like u guys did.
Are you guys born there? Twood and his supporters You say things aren't working in naija and you want to bail out illegally...and it's ok Someone points out how corrupt you and your country are, albeit harshly, and you scream blue murder. Nobody is asking you all to stay in Nigeria. If it's not working move to your greener pastures. But why not do it legally? Some of you here would still criticize people choosing to go to Europe through Libya but wouldn't blink an eye to doing same but through America to Canada or migrating with a visit visa. Hypocrite much? What stops the 'assylum seekers' from getting a Canadian residency visa? Nothing but our normalcy for deception. There's the F1 Visa route to US.. Australia also does residency program...but we chose mass Exodus on visit visa thereby spoiling the chances of genuine US visitors |

I believe he can learn to filter his wordsif we can stop enabling him . There are people with filter and nice words and there are those without. Learn to tolerate people, not try to change them into what you feel is ideal. |

Twoods has no filter and doesn't mince words with his response. The sooner you realize that the better for you. Thank you Available appointment dates in lagos starts from October. I don't think this has ever happened in the history of US Nigerian embassy. I guess a lot more people want to run away hence the higher refusal rate. |

Iyayoyo: Thanks once again so do you think it’s cool For her to re apply and book an appointment for August and September? Alone or I should just invite her and her husband? Your 'invitation' would do more harm than good considering you violated your visa conditions. That said, invitations aren't really looked at during b1/b2 interviews. She has to prove she isn't a potential illegal immigrant. If her circumstances haven't changed since the previous denial, then she might be denied again. |

onyxo76: One thing observed during my interview yesterday was the fact that quite a number had no business applying for the visa, a particular lady was bragging to the VO how she earns about 500k from her business on a good month when all she put on from head to toe was not even up to 10k ! the VO rejected her and she started making a scene and was walked out of the place. So if she makes 500k a month she should spend all on clothing for the US embassy? You guys should stop attaching so much importance to the value of ones appearance. As long as one looks neat and smart that's what matters not how much the clothes are worth. |
