Boeing777pilot: Hi all, happy new year to you all.
My apologies for my prolonged absence.
I had an accident (not aviation related) coupled with a long recuperation period and I am unable to continue flying again. Ever.
From time to time I'd pop in to answer questions Cheers This is really a disheartening news. Do you mind if I contact you directly? |

Please if your bsc is weak futher more on masters here and give a try that a big Change in circumstance under School.and if u are mere accountant get an Ican it a big Change in circumstance under Professional. And if you are a business man with WAEC, go to university. And if you are a master's degree holder, go for PhD...... And if you are a PhD holder, go and buy a university I didn't know we were on the Student visa thread. |

siina: Being a trained psychologists does not mean they are not prone to human error or that they could not make wrong judgement sometimes but like kaptainafrica said visa is a privilege and not a right and then again those denied also have right to there opinion cause they paid for the visa denied I'm not sure what our argument is |

Infiosa: Baba, those guys do not have a process, that's my conclusion. Thanks anyway, I have decided to take my family to Disneyland Paris. If there was a 'set' process, believe me Nigerians would have beaten it. People have manufactured spouses, children, School qualifications, jobs, travel history, conferences just because they believe it is what the VO would consider a tie and Grant their visa. Yet you find genuine first time applicants without any of the aforementioned getting Visas. I believe these VOs are trained psychologists and the interview is just an evaluation |

iRyan: what if his family are hippies and would rather vacation someplace unconventional? would that be a good reason to deny genuine applicants. of courses not. Its his money he can decide to do it wherever he wants. I don't claim to know why he was denied, I just followed a thought process. Just as it's his money to spend, it's the VO's discretion to approve visas. That's why the gurus always say no one can evaluate chances. |

Infiosa. Choice destination for Vacation for kids of their age is Florida (even for Americans living in America) as they have fun theme parks for kids. Did you do your research? Anyways, Dubai now has theme parks for kids... consider going there instead. |

How do you do ma, and how is baby? We are fine, thanks. Send our regards when you do get through to him. Good job with keeping the thread alive. |

Nwebele: Yes. I feel relieved that I did that restitution but also bad that I may have to explain to my baby why I ddidnt get her a blue kpali like her sis How far gone are you? Consider reapplying in Nigeria. The VOs here are more used to the medical/childbirth tourism unlike their Tanzanian counterparts. That 30k new rule thing is absolutely false IMO. |

bbaby84: Just go on the school website, you should be able to order it from there. I usually just google "order transcripts name of school" you may have to pay from £5 to £50 depending on the school. Goodluck Thanks. I did the search but couldn't get any info. However, I've called the school and they'd get back to me with details. |

Newmum0615: I am sure the school has a procedure for this. All I did was send a request through the school portal, including relevant details and address and made payment. Everything took 9 days from request to WES acceptance. Not sure WES even sent for verification. Just contact the school. OK, thanks. |

@Pamperme, mosbiod, nat138 Thanks guys for the speedy response. Now I'm wishing I did a masters abroad too cos NASU is on strike for my Bsc. The MSc is my spouse's. I guess I'd just get his own ball rolling as he is the PA |

nat138: ABU Zaria (Undergrad), UK (Masters). I am only assessing my Masters degree and have only submitted my document for Assessment to WES. Thanks Hi. Pardon me if this seems like a silly question, but how does one request for transcript (MSc) from a foreign university if you are no longer physically present in the country? Do you just email them the forms from WES? Is the process same for online acquired masters degree? |

iluvweed: Please how did you apply for the American passport without getting the birth certificate first? Also just gave birth at Northside in atl and we filled the birth certificate form 2 days after, now waiting for the confirmation letter in the mail after which i will buy a moneyorder and mail it for the original certificate. Please how do I apply for both american and nigerian passports? She said she got the passport same day she got the BC....so she most likely applied for the passport the day she received the BC. At least that's what I did. |

I don't think it was ever prohibited sef....it was usually the overzealous immigration guys that used to seize them even before you check-in but they aren't there anymore. |

Its obvious you haven't flown in a plane in Naija or at least being inside the airport cos you would have noticed a very high percentage of Naija pilots are foine!. @Shrekandfiona @anunimorigba Another option you can explore, depending on the state you are going to, is to find elderly Naija women in the US that offer omugwo services. Some charge a thousand bucks a month. I did that the first time I traveled with my baby on training. It was cheaper for me but the stress of carrying my baby alone on the flight and airport wahala made me take my Nanny along on the next one. |

This is the same guy that wanted to travel for vacation so he can write TOEFL and get teaching experience in US that he wants to use in Arab countries. Suddenly he is married and going for honeymoon. |
