LEE310,
On one hand you encourage people to misuse their visa (if they choose to) knowing that it may hamper the chances of other genuine applicants getting Visas and the other hand you accuse the leaders of not caring for its followers.
Did you stop to think that maybe, just maybe the leaders are also living by your newfound ideology of "having limited time in the crazy world" hence just amassing wealth for their own and immediate generations' use and not caring for the next person? The rot we see in Nigeria today is quite deep rooted, even down to the common man on the street. If we want change for Nigeria we need to start from the root. If the followers begin to understand what is right and wrong and make conscious effort to abide by them then can they demand same treatment from the leaders. Then Nigeria would be great again and we won't have millions of people fraudulently trying to migrate to other countries.

Wait until you are put in jail at the POE cos you are carrying a Nigerian passport (like LadyG) or denied a conference visa that's supposed to enhance your career because the VO has seen too many fraudulent conference visa applications and assumes yours is as well then you might begin to understand why people here are trying to discourage illegal migration and fraudulent applications.

I guess I should start my comment with " with all due respect" so you don't feel offended.... I joke. grin

Please house, for an approved B1/2 visa, how many working days do I have to wait to get my passport back? Reason is I need the passport to seat for IELTS only 5 days after my interview.
Thanks!
If after the interview you are issued a visa, ask the VO of the possibility of holding onto your passport for the exam and sending it to them via DHL afterwards.

He didn't say it is a problem. If it was a problem, He probably wouldn't have approved their visas. Probably just a benign observation.
Sir, the question is for the VO.
We have had cases where renewal applicants were denied because thier previous bills appeared 'too small' and they were accused of probably using medicaid..

.....so don't be too hasty to make assumptions. Let the VO make clarifications on the issue. Thank you

I was actually commenting on how inexpensive it was.

LagosNIV
Is this really a problem? Considering the contract clearly stated the cost break-down and the fact that it's only applicable to self-pay patients.

What do u people gain in this stupidity simpky because u want to score cheap points and nairaland like..

Igbo women hav the highest rate or marrying outside tribe in nigeria.. so why this stupid comment of urs? undecided
While yoruba women dont fancy marrying into igbo tribe(so what do u say about that undecided)

I have seen where ekiti lady said he cant marry ijebu man.. (yet both ar yoruba land)
What joy do some of u derive in degeneratin ur tribe? undecided
And Tomorrow people will use it as ur stupidity against u.
Pls pls pls use ur common sense and edit that comment. angry
Wow wow wow! Oga camdan! You are sounding as though you have personal issues with the person you mentioned, I might be wrong though.
You should understand that the guy gave his own opinion, which isn't far from the truth, so shouldn't be insulted in such manner. Although I did not see him say ALL igbos, but maybe if he had used a quantifier to state a proportion of igbos he was referring to in his comment we wouldn't be splitting hairs now.
I quite agree with him, igbos; and before you come guns blazing for me as well, most igbos aren't united. They always have something separating them from thier fellow tribesmen. Clan, local government, town, state, religious denomination, social class etc.
Within same state, you are given a plethora of reasons why you can't associate or marry from a town different from the other.
On requirements of potential spouse posted by single ladies on a dating site, the common factor that most Anambra girls had was tribe and religious denomination. 99% of them mandated the men to be from Anambra and about 80% also wanted them to be Catholics.....I'm guessing your 'highest rate' statistics did not include Anambra state in the data collection.

Unlike you, I'm actually yet to see a Yoruba girl refuse to marry a suitor that is also Yoruba but from a different state.....but I wouldn't go as far as calling you a bigot now, would I? Or accuse you of degenerating anothers tribe. But I personally know a lot of igbo girls that have turned down suitors due tribe, even amongst thier own tribe.

Abia---->Anambra women are bad
Anambra--->Onitsha women are bad
Pentecostals--->Catholics are idol worshippers
Imo----> Anambra men are too money conscious hence cannot be trusted
Anambra---->Imo men are lazy
....................division at different levels.

At OP, your friend is probably not yet mature for marriage if his parents are still dictating who he can and cannot marry.

Thanks! I intend to say that my boss gave me a double leave that's why I'm staying for 8 weeks.
And I didn't go for leave last year as a result of workload, So she decided to make it up....
I hope that will pull through.....
It might be wise to go with an official leave letter stating the leave days and that it's a paid leave. 8weeks is a reaaaaaaaly long time to be on leave and away from your child.
Forgive my intrusiveness, but why aren't you going with your kid?

Don't let the thread stall.... Keep her airborne.
A quick one..... Is this Helicopter taking off or landing? Support you ans
This is where helicopters are more Superior to planks. This could be take off, landing or just hovering.
We cannot really conclusively tell with just this picture what phase of flight it is in.
It might be landing...but it would have just completed the landing flare and settling into ground cushion to set down on the ground. Although the nose gear doesn't look like it's in the down and locked position.

It might be taking off....the lift into a hover just before rotation...but it's not gone nose down yet so not certain.

It might just be hovering.... something planks cannot do.

Or better still, you can press the eject button located on the seat handle. Don't forget to collect your personal parachute under your seat.

The VOs suggest you make your visa application well in advance of your proposed trip so that you don't start panicking when any unforeseen delays occur.
However, this plays no part in whether you qualify for a visa or not.

Christianity EtcRe: Paying Your Tithe Is Biblical by sugah: 1:00pm On Nov 24, 2017
hardasan:
It's expressly said that anyone who sacrificeth, does so to Idols and not to God because Jesus is the perfect sacrifice for us all. 1Chorinthians ch 10 vs 19 -20
Funny how you sheeples quote the new testament on other issues pertaining to the 'church' but are quick to quote Malachi 3:10 on tithe issues.

Everyone is free to do what they believe in. If you believe giving your money to your pastor is the 'way to salvation' by all means do so. Although unfortunately the brainwashing gimmick emphasizes your earthly reward for tithing not salvation.....But by all means, do what works for you.

Most people claim they tithe of free will....
But you go to the pastor to complain of difficulty you are going through and the first question they ask is if you are paying your tithe. Because 'christians' who pay tithe aren't meant to suffer. Isn't that emotional and psychological coercion?
You are hypnotized with sermons of incurring God's wrath if you don't give 10% to 'him' and you believe you are giving of free will?

Let us quit being religionists and be Christians......Christ-like. For Jesus Christ said, whatsoever you do to the LEAST of my brothers, you do unto me. They are lots of families around you who are struggling to feed...do as Christ said and the world would be a better place and also work on your salvation as that is a personal race.

You are assuming I'm remotely interested in wasting my time arguing with him.... that's an exercise in futility.

Liquid food like pap for kids would pass through security as well..they just need to run a test on it.

The very first line in my post you quoted said this - “there is no law against carrying food on a flight”. The very next sentence started with “I think”. It is beyond me how you deduced that what I think is law. Reading is quite important.
I think you are struggling with comprehenshion.
Save your argument for who is interested in arguing with you.
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 5 by sugah: 9:51pm On Nov 23, 2017

There is no law against carrying food on a flight. I don't think you can bring food from home and it will be allowed through security. You can buy food after security and board your flight though. That's the difference.
I say again, there's no law against carrying food. What you think or don't think isn't the law.
