Olodo, you no even get shame nan for internet you dey share your ignorance.
The evidence is for all to use. Premium Time is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. You didn't call them Yoruba when they release evidence on Saraki
The Pandora Papers: How the world of offshore finance is still flourishing | Four Corners
For months, more than 600 journalists from around the world, including the ABC, the Washington Post and the BBC, have been working with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists on this top-secret investigation.
One of the biggest data leaks in history, the papers reveal how the wealthy and powerful are continuing to use offshore tax havens to hide their ownership of assets and stash their cash - despite attempts to rein the industry in.
On April 4, 2016, PREMIUM TIMES published details of the offshore assets Mr Saraki and his wife, Toyin, concealed in offshore tax heavens as part of the Panama Papers collaborative investigation.
The revelations coincided with the false assets declaration trial of the senator at the Code of Conduct Bureau in Abuja, but the charges were largely about his local assets and some foreign bank accounts because authorities had not uncovered his offshore shell companies.
This same Pandora didn't spot on Buhari's declaration neither did it talk about Tinubu.
Did Pandora tell us how Dangote is evading tax?
Can't you see this is politically motivated? We expect more of such to come as we move closer to 2023
Whataboutism has started again. Pandora is not owned by Nigerians

Focus on the criminals in your own ethnic group or don't you want Igbo politicians to have integrity. The Yoruba and Fulani are already paying the price for corrupt politicians..... just look at the state of Lagos and Katsina.
The said provision did not specifically require the declaration of jointly or partly owned assets. Yes it does ....
Every declarant is required by Law to declare his/her assets/liability including that of his spouse(s) who is not a Public Officer and children under 18 years age, honestly, sincerely and submit same to the Bureau within 30 days of the receipt of the forms.
All properties/assets acquired outside Nigeria MUST be stated clearly with the value of the said Assets in the Currency of the Country where the property is situated.
On the issue of non-declaration of jointly or partly owned foreign asset: the law which addresses this subject is majorly the constitution and the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act.Section 11 (1) (b) Part I Fifth Schedule to the Constitution Adebayo referred to requires a public officer to declare his properties, assets, and liabilities. The said provision did not specifically require the declaration of jointly or partly owned assets. It is appreciated that a public officer is required to declare his assets in view of the public trust reposed in the office they occupy. It would be irrational to expose assets that are partly owned by other individuals, when they are not the ones occupying the public office in question. Some business investors actually prefer to invest quietly, hence, a declaration of their jointly owned assets breach that business trust which they expect from their business partners. The otherwise could amount to a breach of the right to privacy and quiet enjoyment of the property of these individuals.
It is to be noted that Section 6 (b) of the Code of Conduct Bureau and Tribunal Act did not prohibit a public officer from holding an interest in a company. It only prevents the said public officer not to personally “engage or participate in the management or running of any private business, profession or trade”. To my mind this does not preclude a public officer to shut down his hitherto existing business or profession simply upon his assumption of public office. It would be unreasonable for the law to expect that of such public officer. Provided the public officer is not personally involved in administering the business while in office, he is in the right side of the law. The appointment of nominee directors by companies are legitimate and well known corporate law practice recognised by the Companies and Allied Matters Act. More so, Nigerian law recognises that companies have distinct personalities different from its shareholders and directors. As such, it is legally incorrect to say that a person owns a company. Adebayo failed to tie down Peter Obi’s personal involvement in the administration of the companies while occupying the office of the governor of Anambra State.

HustlePro: I thought you only declare what is in Nigeria? Since what is outside is not bound my Nigerian law?
Lazy youth google is your friend, Nigeria laws clearly state that you must declare all appropriate assets that you own, include assets with spouse and children under 18. Peter Obi got married in 1992, his daughter would have been under the age of 18 before the completion of his first term in 2011.

lonelydora: I hate it when Nigerians praise governors (or politicians) when they do what they were elected to do. Is working on roads not part of tbe governor's job?
Oh! I remember, even in government offices, you "grease" civil servants hands to carry out the duties they were basically employed to do.
This is why we are where we are!
Nigerian politicians have weaponised poverty that we must be grateful for small success.
The last Chief Judge of Nigeria was removed because he failed to declare all his Assets
Imagine if Someone owns half of Dangote Cement and says he will not declare it because it is owned with others
Peter Obi used to be a Banker he knows better than that , Joint Account or investment owners declare their own interest in any account or Partnership when being accessed for any Collateral, Credit or Mortgage
But that is why you guys have been chasing Tinubu for years and aiming for his downfall over his interests in Alpha Beta
All Nigerian Politicians May be Crooks but at least when you come to equity come with clean hands for Posterity Sake
kponkedenge: Peter Obi has already made Nairaland front page twice on this Pandora scandal... The first one was a picture of him sharing money.... The funny thing about this is that there are also many Nigerian names, but somehow, he has been singled out for some reasons.... Maybe because they see him as the front runner for president from the SE.
The same people shouting corruption on him are still the same people over looking the corruption going on in this administration... And also overlooking the billion van incident from their messiah.
No politician hand is clean everywhere.... But in terms of Nigeria, the way we celebrate crooks especially from our tribe, while vilifying one from another tribe is astonishing.
If we must have a leader, I strongly believe we should try and overcome the tribal politics most average Nigerians embrace.... And go for experience and honesty.....even if the person is an outsider.
Nigeria is a tribal society, so there is no chance that Nigeria will overcome tribal politics, instead, we should learn to embrace and respect our diversity and differences. All Nigerians politician are crook, hence we must accept that a country led by crook can never succeed...period
“I don’t declare what is owned with others,”, he told Premium Times.
“If my family owns something I won’t declare it. I didn’t declare anything I jointly owed with anyone.”
He said the offshore entity is the holding company for most of his assets and that the business structure he adapted was to enable him to avoid excessive taxation.
“I am sure you too will not like to pay inheritance tax if you can avoid it,” he said.
obailala: The brutal honesty in these responses will throw any detractor off balance.
Nigerians and their selected honesty, we choose who to trust and distrust.
Peter Obi has multiple business certifications and diplomas and he didn't know that he has to declare his assets include one that is shared with his kins
Peter Obi talk and behaves like a crook, I don't need to see him in government to know that he will continue the looting of OBJ, GEJ and Buhari.
HustlePro: Firstly, you just exposed yourself as not being Igbo even though you use one that looks Igbo.
Secondly, did you read he said those are family joint business?
3rdly, the paper lied that it was after he became governor that he set them up... It was already in existence before then.
Where has it became a crime to own a business outside Nigeria?
Then it should have been declared.
Obi, a Vice-Presidential candidate in Nigeria’s 2019 general elections, set up and operated businesses abroad in tax and secrecy havens; and breached Nigerian laws while he was a serving governor by failing to declare these assets with the Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB.
He set up his first offshore company, Gabriella Investments Limited (named after his daughter who bears a similar name), 4 years into his time as governor of Anambra state.
mrvitalis: There is absolutely nothing wrong with what peter obi did ... absolutely nothing wrong with it
There has always been campaign to attack peter obi's image ....they can't find anything on the man

Chucks234: I disagree with Mr Sanwo. He is asking for more allocations to states when they indirectly receive 47% (LG allocation). Also on the influx of people into lagos and the need for FG support which is laughable considering the amount of FG infrastructure in the state (the highest FG presence of any state in Nigeria). A simple breakdown of these infrastructure will help 1. The functional seaports is situated in Lagos built by revenue from other states (eg Groundnut, Cocoa and Crude). 2. The International & Local airport built with revenue from other states. 3. Major highways highways & bridges owned by FG and built with revenue from other states. 4. Unilag, Yabatech, LUTH, FTC & other FG parastatals built by revenue from other states. 5. Railway also built by revenue from other states just to mention a few. 5. Dangote refinery (technically been built by FG because CBN is a major financier of the project) I forsee an FG takeover in the future if he fails to pay his debts.
So LASG should show us what thay have used the allocations since capital was moved to Abuja in 1993 to do. In 22yrs how many new infrastructure has been built in Lagos by successive governors? They scream we have the highest IGR but forget to acknowledge that this IGR is driven by FG infrastructure in the state which other states do not have the luxury of getting.
Imagine a scenario where imports into the country is evenly distributed amongst the sea ports in the country, with same amount of FG infrastructure in all states we won't be hearing this nonsense from Mr governor.
There are not enough ghettos to hold all Nigerians, sooner or later the influx has to end. There are more government institutions in Kaduna State than Lagos State. Apapa Port was in Nigeria before Nigeria ever existed Major highways exist in all states.
In 22 years, Lagos has expanded to Include metropolis like Lekki, Agege, Oworoshoki, Housing Estate like Iponri, Light rails, Lekki deep seaport
The Federal government only developed VI, Ikoyi and some parts of Lagos Island
Aufbauh: President Mohammadu Buhari the president who is so respected outside the shore of this country by both white and black leaders, but hated by fellow corrupt countrymen.
christejames: That could be an Islammiyya School...
I served in Gombe and Akko is where the capital is, the state has one of the best public school facilities in the country mostly in the capital and their pupils are surprisingly learned (majorly women). Mind you, I served with a public agency that afforded the opportunity of traversing the capital nay the state in general.
Could remember when my CDS visited a public school then, mahn, come and listen to intelligent questions being asked by this students mostly the girls with good English.
In terms of religion, the state is shared just like Nigeria 50-50. During my time there their deputy governor was a Christian.
I bet majority of the students in those schools were Christain.
That's how the Fulani's conquered the Hausa till this day
“That is the respect I give them. I say come, come and sit with me. Come and sit down. I want to hear from you. With that respect, the Fulani man, you can get him.
“So don’t be surprised, if you are nice to him, if you are ready to listen to him, if you are trying to understand his problem, if you put your legs in his own shoes, he will listen to you, you will go to the forest and return safely insha Allahu,” Mr Gumi assured.
I knew this was a scam when Bitt Inc (Bitt.com) couldn't resolve a simple website to the eNaira domain. The governor of the CBN must be investigated and sacked, this is a scam.

He was behind the introduction of political Sharia law in Northern Nigeria and is worst than even the Fulani's fundamentalist. They live in an illusion that the Islamic system of government was once great in the past and will be grate today.
Dizzyish: Please I need advice, any advice. I graduated with a 3rd class in Chemistry from three years ago (I only blame myself for that) and after I finished my NYSC a year ago I just plunged into a depressive state in regards to my mistake (my education) and my future (career) sometimes breaking down in tears when I think of things I've taken for granted in my life.
I started working on myself a few months ago and I've made some progress I proud of but every now and then it's easy to be overwhelmed with self doubt. I made a cv without work experience along with a cover letter a few days ago and applied for a few entry level jobs like graduate intern, sales, restaurant supervisor etc via jobberman and the companies email but I'm not too sure I'll be getting any calls from them. I didn't come here to get sympathy just an honest advice or opinion on what to do.
Can I do a pgd in chemical engineering or just chemistry or pursue a business or computer/tech course, are there jobs I can get with my degree maybe to get skills and work experience? I deeply appreciate any advice. Thank you.
I know you are going through some emotional problems right now but you need to assess your goals. There are many reasons why you got a third class. A third class degree is a pass with honours.
The solution is pretty straightforward. 1) Start working on a post-graduate degree and master degree that will remove the stigma of the 3rd third-class degree...or 2) Chemistry is difficult analytics subject to study and would have provided you with the necessary skills to study professional certification in logical subjects such as AI, Software Engineering, Security Engr etc. 3) In the real world degrees are only relevant for entry roles after some work experience, nobody asks for your degrees, it's your working experience that matters.
Bornsinner7: I'm telling you.. like those online games.. if you see their upgrade you go dey wonder if this people no get conscience..

In the developed world, healthcare, water, electricity and the internet are now considered essential for human existence. Without access to the internet, mang business will close down
Someone should help me and tell okezie ikpeazu to pay their workers and pensioners...
Okezie ikpeazu pay your workers and pensioners before thunder go fiiiiirrrrreeee you there....
Maybe the state doesn't need the workers that's why they are not being paid. Recurring expenditure must never be more than 22 -30% of the state budget.
martyns303: Let them go…. They will soon find out it’s not all roses . Not even America or Canada but UK! UK that will tax everything back, they will earn the money, and spend it all on tax, accommodation, transportation, electricity, heating and many many expenses and at the end of the month, they will be left with nothing.
Nigeria is not a rich country when compared to the west, in Nigeria how many people actually take their health seriously and go to the hospital or willing to pay good money for medical services. Medical services are ridiculously high in the west, that’s how they are able to generate revenue to be able to pay better. As a country, yes there’s corruption, but we are making do with the best we have.
And before anybody comes for me, I am also a professional, I have lived in the UK, SA, UAE and recently US. I still will rather work in Nigeria.
Medical care is free in the UK.
Tax is high but you can earn more from working hard and being productive, Nigerian doctors and nurses are in demand due to Brexit. No country can continue to haemorrhage their educated youth and replace them with limited professional
