Anyways, Our popular thread is gone. Here is to a better one. Let's talk about USA visit visa here. I'll be available to give advice, tetesfly and others will be here (me think) as well. SHALOM |
Vic and juszme, thanks to you two. I will like to know, if Tanzania actually requires visa for Nigerian passport holders. There is a thread on here, some said they do need it while others said nop. So I will like to know if you have experience in that area. SHALOM |
I will do more research on this topic and post my findings tomorrow. Will see if the Tanzania high commission here or their home office will pick the call tomorrow and get the information directly from the main source. Come to think of it, this type of country should be visa free to us. We only go there for holidays and dassal to it ! SHALOM |
Vic, Glad to have you on nairaland. Thanks for been there for US always. My inquiry is about Egypt embassy. I tried to search for the right address of the embassy on google but yet to find the right one. Please if you do know or anyone here knows their address, kindly help me out with it. Thanks SHALOM |
elleven45: For the school METU, I had to email them and they sent me a link of everything I need to know.METU won't open applciation for new students not until later this year So I read earlier on their site . Anyone with a contrary information? SHALOM |
vitus101: Turkey started cable visa April last year.. Its a tourist visa alright,my question is,can one travel with it without any other requirement(s)? I read on their website that one must have a valid Visa from any of the OECD countries to be able to travel with the online visa. You already have the answer to your question so why ask again? Go ahead and follow what they said. Its as easy as that ! SHALOM |
donbigboy: Can anybody tell me, why Belgium visa application take so long before its attended to!!! SmhI used to be in talk with a Nairalander, he applied for Belgian visit visa and for like two months when he was on my BB contact list, he was yet to receive a reply about his visa application.... Dunno why they take so much time like that. SHALOM |
Inosenduatall: @mk82 I'm compiling a book somewhere along the lines of dating and relationships. Do think it's a viable niche? I enjoy writing, but more importantly I enjoy working on areas and topics that are of interest to me.I don't think it makes enough sense to just write for the sake of writing. It will be better you do your due diligence in that niche and get a good KW to target because no matter what you think you wanna write about, someone on kindle has written about it - provided its r/ship based. So my advice is this, try niche down and see if the kw is valuable and you will get sales and if not, try to look for other niche you will make money in it. But who knows, you can publish in the r/ship niche and make a killing. Just make sure you're convinced before you decide to write anything SHALOM |
mk82: RESEARCH: METHOD TO NARROW DOWN A NICHETake it or leave it, this is one of the best tutorial as far as kindle keyword research is concerned. I have more than 20 WSOs on kindle publishing and tell you what, this is what all of them do elaborate on when it comes to kindle KW research. @op, you're doing a very good job here. @all, I will use this method once more, get a keyword, update everything right on this thread and we will all see if its real or not. Like op said, it will be fun to see more Nigerians making a killing on kindle. I make some change on there but with what the op said few replies back, then I guess I'm still making little for real. Its 2014, let's work smart and make the damn money online ! SHALOM |
nyabingi: Guess u guys dont really know akinalabi, he has always bn like that, i once attended his seminars he lacks customer service courtesy!!At least you got something good to say here. Talking about lack of customer service, it begins with Akin himself. He, does not care about what clients think about his service which is bad.... SHALOM |
FP material. I can't imagine the picture this man has painted all Nigerian churches in the face of investors. Church on the tank! SHALOM |
Dextra: I'm glad I got a response after 48 hours! Thanks for your response Suxes. If you posted this at the business section maybe you would have gotten many responses. SHALOM |

henrimoto: @justi4jesu..... Nne, halloooo. how are you doing? how is work and how is the weathering doing you ?..... sorry, do you need any she/he to do anything for you because of this weather.... ?You guys think I'm not aware abi? Y'all should stop disturbing my woman for DUBAI sake. Can't you jjust go look for another woman ni? @ogakpatakpata, please as the elder in the house, caution these guys and let em leave my woman. @all planning to go to Dubai, biko, do your assignments well. Make sure you are ready for whatever you will come across there. Been there, spent 7 days. Enjoyed it a bit (if you get money you will enjoy everywhere you go to. So, anyone got the average salary range for non skilled worker? Asking on behalf a client who wish to come down there ! SHALOM |
Dextra: It's a known fact that it's illegal to work in any country without a work permit.Talk about a good world citizen - there you come in. Well, as for me, I do same but I never ever stop working anytime I am out of the country. I hardly even think about all this you're saying. I just believe I can't take a paid offline job in a foreign country without the necessary documentations which I have never thought of. The COURT is in your BALL. SHALOM |
omonla10: Hello VO. I can see you're doing a good jobRed Alert ! You were unable to compose the questions well here so I doubt if you will be able to face the interviewer and answer the questions fine. SHALOM |
orans: thanks u sir for the quick response. I have another question pls. My younger broda and I would be applyin and when he did his e passport 2 years ago the date of birth was wrong as my guardian did not comfirm 4rm our parents b4 going ahead. He applied to the lagos U.S embassy and was denied nt because of the age though but tax clearance matter. Now my parents insist he rectifies his passport and change the age as reflected in his WAEC certificate. He has done that and hope to apply with the new passport in the Abuja U.S embassy. Pls do u tink d embassy could trace both passports and maybe charge him for falsification? The new passport has only the date of birth change and it got a new passport numberYou self think am yourself. We talking about the US embassy here. Oga said he will be caught and that is the truth. But come to think of it, they made a mistake on his first passport and he used it like that to apply for USA visa and now he's changing age, shey he no see am b4 ni? Here is the solution, destroy the new passport. Rock on with the old passport and mind you, a man of 45years can be given F1 student visa provided he can convince the ECO well SHALOM |
Guys endorse this order of arrangement please... Book cover - Internal content cover - copyright - foreword/Dedication - preface/ acknowledgement/introduction - table of contents/chapters. The kindle experts should endorse this, and comment if there's any modification to be made. Thanks.
Guess its fine like that. Though some times I do not use em and still do well. Make sure your TOC are clickable. Oyinbo people also loves it when you use good punctuation marks. SHALOM |
Nice observations by y'all. If any of you did a research into the guy's business, then you will understand that he does not have the sole right to determine what happens to snapchat, not with many millions of dollars of investors' money tied into it ! The guy would have convinced the investors easily to buy into the offer and everyone goes home happy but tell you what, the investors behind the funding are market leaders and they surely know what they need. $3billion might sound much (infact its a big amount of money mehn... i go buy one state ....) but those guys are not usually motivated by money. They don't even really care or feel too bad if they fail at the end of it all - consider snapchat as a startup with few staffs.
bro, this all about our BUSINESS! And we have a lot to learn from this scenarios with projected vision of past events; he should have considered another option. Truth be told, this would have been the world's biggest buy in the history domain/webiste acquisition. But turning down 3-4billion dollars is incredibly INSANE!!!! Rick Schwarts has a way he does it if he doesn't want to sell his domain. He simply ask for revenue sharing in the case of Candy.com. When Google acquired Youtube, the former owners didn't sell it off completely, man. They ARE still part and parcel of the youtube company and possibly heading that angle. Nokia was recently sold to Microsoft but NOT completely as the owners still has a share in the company. If I had turn down that $25,000 which you are aware of, wont you think I am under a spell, even though the supposed buyer was doubting because I am a Nigerian and didn't follow through the deal? Hope you know about the other dude who is currently contemplating whether to accept $200,000 or not for an un-developed domain, let's leave out snapchat. What do you think about that? The guy in this case was given the option of also sharing the revenue/shares of the company sales. That to me is the best option rather than outright turning down such mouth-watering offers. The guy in question never considered developing this domain until $200,000 was thrown his way. The question is: does he have the funds to match a multibillion dollar company's competition in terms of adverts, sales and revenue-generation? Whatsapp is currently owned by facebook or google. They bought it less than a year ago. But on the second thought, maybe these companies are just buying chat-sites to kill possible/pontential competitors off the radar. Perhabs, that's why snapchat owner doesn't want to sell. Only time will tell what would become of this in the near future. P.S: I will like to see these companies scrambling to buy a Nigerian owned innovations someday. I hope Nairaland programmers are seeing that investors are looking for what to buy? Goodluck to us all!
The guy at irokotv, Jason, got $8million funding from angel investors if memory serves me well. So we have guys doing big things online. We will surely get there that is if we develop something worth investing in. Even this spinlet people seems they got funding as well from investors... I'm pretty sure Seun of NL wudda receive lot of offers but will prefer to keep Nl to him alone (and mukina maybe.. lol) I love internet. I love it/her/him so much. God bless internet for us ! SHALOM |
Haustraliah: Japan, qatar, korea but getting japanese visa is hardest ever 4 nigerians, even harder than canadian, usa, australian nd swiss visa.IMO and even experience, there is no visa that is hard to get as long as you merit it. You know we do trial and error and if these people gets to hack into our mind and know that the intending traveler is an immigrant they deny and we cry foul that their visa is hard to get. Get a uni in Japan. Pay the fees and see if they will not give you visa. Get a company you wanna transact business with. Get an IV from em and together with your genuine documents, apply for the visa and see if they will give you or not. SHALOM |
