I will like to know, if Tanzania actually requires visa for Nigerian passport
holders. There is a thread on here, some said they do need it while others said
nop. So I will like to know if you have experience in that area.

I will do more research on this topic and post my findings tomorrow.
Will see if the Tanzania high commission here or their home office
will pick the call tomorrow and get the information directly from the main source.

Come to think of it, this type of country should be visa free to us. We only go
there for holidays and dassal to it !

METU won't open applciation for new students not until later this year
So I read earlier on their site .

vitus101: Turkey started cable visa April last year.. Its a tourist visa alright,my question is,can one travel with it without any other requirement(s)? I read on their website that one must have a valid Visa from any of the OECD countries to be able to travel with the online visa.

Agents are bragging that they can process Turkish visa in 4 days bla bla bla.. I ve read through the process of application on their(Turkish embassy) website and I must confess its just too easy.

My question once again is, can one process the visa can one process the visa online and travel with it pronto.?

I used to be in talk with a Nairalander, he applied for Belgian visit visa
and for like two months when he was on my BB contact list, he was yet
to receive a reply about his visa application....

Dunno why they take so much time like that.

Inosenduatall: @mk82 I'm compiling a book somewhere along the lines of dating and relationships. Do think it's a viable niche? I enjoy writing, but more importantly I enjoy working on areas and topics that are of interest to me.

I don't think it makes enough sense to just write for the sake of writing.
It will be better you do your due diligence in that niche and get a good KW to
target because no matter what you think you wanna write about, someone on
kindle has written about it - provided its r/ship based.

So my advice is this, try niche down and see if the kw is valuable and you will get sales
and if not, try to look for other niche you will make money in it.

But who knows, you can publish in the r/ship niche and make a killing. Just make sure
you're convinced before you decide to write anything

mk82: RESEARCH: METHOD TO NARROW DOWN A NICHE
-Go to Google, type Amazon bestsellers. Click on the amazon bestseller's link
-At amazon bestsellers, click on kindle store on the left side (do not use d search box at d top)
-at kindle store, click on kindle ebooks below it
-under kindle ebooks, u will see many categories. click on anyone dat u want and it will open subcategories. choose any subcategory and click until their is no more subs.
- At this point, start checking the 100 books that are listed for dat sub-subcategory.
-right click any of the listed books and check d product details. It should have amazon sales rank below 20,000.
-determine d keyword of dat book. For instance, it could be a book on anger management.
-now open amazon on anoda tab and go to kindle ebooks.use d search box to search for the keyword 'anger management'. when d results open,select 'new and popular' on d right side.
-Open about 10 of d books to check their product details. their should be at least 5 to 7 books with amazon sales rank around 10k,20k,30k,40k. there should be many odas below 100k.
-this shows money is circulating in dat niche.
if these criteria are not satisfied, go to the bestseller's page and start over. Avoid niches with many celebrity authors or those dat require professional qualifications.

Take it or leave it, this is one of the best tutorial as far as kindle keyword research is concerned.
I have more than 20 WSOs on kindle publishing and tell you what, this is what all of them do elaborate
on when it comes to kindle KW research.

@op, you're doing a very good job here.

@all, I will use this method once more, get a keyword, update everything right on this thread
and we will all see if its real or not.

Like op said, it will be fun to see more Nigerians making a killing on kindle.

I make some change on there but with what the op said few replies back, then I guess I'm still

Do I have a space to fill all the details of my job in the form, such as Lagos State Government Staff, facilitator at a private organisation and a proprietor of a small nursery and primary school.

NOTE... I have an expired south African visa which I did not use on my passport. Hope this will not limit my chance.

Dextra: It's a known fact that it's illegal to work in any country without a work permit.
I'll be traveling to a country in less than a month with TRV for 3 months duration, I do not intend to work and I have enough money to cover my expenses while there (the VISA officer made sure of this). Now, my concern is this: I work online as a hobby. I do jobs for clients from all over the world, jobs ranging from translation, web research, product sourcing, audio/video transcription, etc (many of you might do this also) and I get paid in dollars into my bank account via wire transfer. Will I be committing an offence if I continue to render my services abroad during the period of my stay? I personally don't think it matters but I'm worried that I'll be using their bandwidth and they might find out that I'm working online. I have about 2 ongoing long-term contracts that may continue for the next 6 months. Should I terminate them and decline further offers? Vicjustice, Justwise, and other knowledgeable people, I need your candid advice.
I hate breaking the law. If it's illegal I might just outsource them or discuss with my clients. Thank you.

My younger broda and I would be applyin and when he did his e passport 2 years ago the date of birth was wrong as my guardian did not comfirm 4rm our parents b4 going ahead. He applied to the lagos U.S embassy and was denied nt because of the age though but tax clearance matter. Now my parents insist he rectifies his passport and change the age as reflected in his WAEC certificate. He has done that and hope to apply with the new passport in the Abuja U.S embassy. Pls do u tink d embassy could trace both passports and maybe charge him for falsification? The new passport has only the date of birth change and it got a new passport number

Here is the solution, destroy the new passport. Rock on with the old passport
and mind you, a man of 45years can be given F1 student visa provided he can

Nice observations by y'all.

If any of you did a research into the guy's business, then you will understand
that he does not have the sole right to determine what happens to snapchat, not
with many millions of dollars of investors' money tied into it !

The guy would have convinced the investors easily to buy into the offer and everyone goes
home happy but tell you what, the investors behind the funding are market leaders and they
surely know what they need.

$3billion might sound much (infact its a big amount of money mehn... i go buy one state ....) but
those guys are not usually motivated by money. They don't even really care or feel too bad if they
fail at the end of it all - consider snapchat as a startup with few staffs.

The guy in this case was given the option of also sharing the revenue/shares of the company sales. That to me is the best option rather than outright turning down such mouth-watering offers. The guy in question never considered developing this domain until $200,000 was thrown his way. The question is: does he have the funds to match a multibillion dollar company's competition in terms of adverts, sales and revenue-generation?

Whatsapp is currently owned by facebook or google. They bought it less than a year ago.

But on the second thought, maybe these companies are just buying chat-sites to kill possible/pontential competitors off the radar. Perhabs, that's why snapchat owner doesn't want to sell.

Only time will tell what would become of this in the near future.

P.S: I will like to see these companies scrambling to buy a Nigerian owned innovations someday. I hope Nairaland programmers are seeing that investors are looking for what to buy?

Haustraliah: Japan,qatar,korea but getting japanese visa is hardest ever 4 nigerians,even harder than canadian,usa,australian nd swiss visa.

IMO and even experience, there is no visa that is hard to get as long
as you merit it. You know we do trial and error and if these people gets
to hack into our mind and know that the intending traveler is an immigrant
they deny and we cry foul that their visa is hard to get.

Get a uni in Japan. Pay the fees and see if they will not give you visa.

Get a company you wanna transact business with. Get an IV from em
and together with your genuine documents, apply for the visa and see if they will
give you or not.
