My sister have 9,8,8,7 in her TCF and she received EOI from ontario. Her total CRS is 419 and we were hoping Feder will give her an ITA. But the french draws these last two times are quite high.

Finally got my desired TCF scores a day after I submitted my OINP application. That was my happiest day everrr, ITA and PPR didn’t even make me as happy as May 6th 2024 when I got my results. To those waiting, don’t give up, learn french because it will be worth it and finally… avoid TOBIDAM (if he’s still alive)

You have to send a webform and explain this. You are supposed to declare all refusals especially to US, UK and 2 other countries (I am not sure of which countries at the moment)

It depends. What is your status in Canada? PR or TR? What type of visa do you want to process for your MIL? Normal Visit visa or Super visa? How long do you want her to stay? Are you sponsoring the whole trip? If yes, the doesn't need to provide her bank account. Yours is enough. If you can show about 10kcad in addition to your paystubs, that should be good. But on a general note, it's usually good for her to show some funds in her account to show she is established in her home country.

Depends on how long you are staying, whether someone is inviting you or not, whether the person inviting you is providing some support or not, and your status (married or single)

Very possible. Move to September and see what happens. Else it may be bad network. Try again later.

Should the POF be enough for 3 people, mum inclusive or just the twins?

So the mum should add the twins in her application, if she had showed 5million naira for her and got approved, she can add like extra two million or 3 million. These kids are seem as a full human and so you have to prove that you have funds to support their visit.

Do you mean twins aged 1 year +. Thing is, there is no amount for POF on the ircc site. However, the amount will depend on how long you are gonna stay, if you have a relative in Canada, and if the relative is ready to support your stay or not.

please was it the new portal you used in applying? Where did you upload all these documents? Because when I was applying for my Dad there wasn't even a placeholder for invitation letter, the only placeholder I got was Passport, proof of funds and use of representative form. I am wondering if I should raise a webform and attach more documents? It's more than 2 weeks I applied for him and there has been no movement on his file since BIL. Also does your mum have travel history? Because I noticed that those with travel history seem to get PPR fast.

My mom does not have any travel history. I combined (merged) files together using I love pdf. All financial document, all employment-related document, all home ties. Just group them. And I used new portal.

If you speak French and English fluently, why don't you take the French exam (TCF or TEF) and ielts and go through the express entry? The French category draw score is very small (376, 426) by comparison to the general draw.

Did you use DHL to transmit and receive the passport? Someone from the VFS told my mother in law she needs UPS and NOT DHL to receive her passport. Meaning she has to pay another transmission fee to get it delivered to them in Ibadan. The thing has been sitting in VFS Lekki. How true is his information, please.

I can imagine the frustration. My mom paid to vfs and they used UPS courier. It appears UPS is their courier partner to deliver from vfs. They can receive from any of them though. Their choice of courier may also depend on the location. My mom stays in Awka. She used DHL to send it, however, VFS used UPS to courier it back to her.

They stopped the two-way courier service. It's either you pick up in person at their office or you pay them and they will use their preferred courier service. I think they are using it to make money too

Finally my mom collected her passport yesterday (through courier). I really cannot tell why the stamping took so long.

Good morning All. Just got my gcms notes. I was the one that I was told to submit police certificate in Nigeria and in the united states. Which have done . The gcms note is for me and my wife. Kindly find attached. Our son application will depend on us so I didnt request for his own. The first two attachment is for me and and the last two is for my wife. Please what do we expect. Also I called the MP before the gcms came out and they also said eligibility and criminality passed which is what I saw on the gcms note. The police certificate have been received since june and nothing again till this moment.

Most things got online might not be true so you need to ask someone with experience but got what I said online

Next time get your facts right from ircc site itself. Anyone can post anything online. Find attached. Ircc site says you can reapply anytime after the refusal. The only difference is that you have to provide a letter of explanation and more documents especially for the reasons you were refused. I know people that did this and it works.

This is not true. You can always reapply immediately for canada visas.

My passport is at the France Embassy at the moment , I actually just submitted yesterday.

I have a scanned copy of the BioData page of my passport , would that be acceptable or do I need to wait to collect my passport .

Secondly, if I delay in doing the biometrics but within the 30 days specified , does it delay the processing of my application?

You will need your passport for the biometrics. And yes until you do your biometrics, they won't touch your file.

Normal process. But in her case, she will provide the reason why she want her mom to come visit.

I am thinking you should find out the reason for returning it first before you resubmit to avoid another returning

Did you attach the slip they gave you during biometrics to show you did biometrics there in Lagos vac?

I just quickly googled ICR. Says Invoice Cum Receipt. Did you do biometrics in Lagos and sent your passport to Abuja for stamping or vice versa? In that case you needed to pay transmission fee. If you paid, did you attach the receipt?

Pension account is usually used as part hometies not proof of funds. Ofcourse you cannot even touch the money until 3 months post no work or there about.

It depends sha. At the point of application, I think a dummy ticket will do. My mom used a dummy ticket and we didn't have any issues. I also know a lot of people that used a flight itinerary and no issues. But not at the point of flying.
