Yes, they will scan the barcode and verify it. By the way, download a barcode scanner and scan it yourself and verify your information.

If he did biometrics in Abuja and sending Passport to Abuja, he doesn't need to pay the 8920. But if he did his biometrics in Lagos and is sending the passport to Abuja, he should pay the 8920 and attach the proof of payment to the documents he is sending.

MY APPLICATION TIMELINE (First Time Applicant)

Upfront Medical: April 29th (a month before submission)
Application submitted: May 29th, 2021
Biometric instruction Letter: May 30th, 2021
Medical Passed: 31st May 2021
Biometrics was done and completed: June 8th, 2021.
4 ghosts update (No of ghost update way I catch).
Eligibility started: September 27th, 2021
BVL: September 28th, 2021
PPR: October 13th, 2021

Download bar scanner app on play store. Then scan the barcode on the card and click on the link it will generate, it will take you to their site for verification.

hey according to IRCC the remainder of the fees plus 10k and then the first dependent is 4k then after that plus 3k per additional dependent.
so apart from remaining fees that's like 20k CAD for all for of you please correct me if I am wrong house.

I didn't get this clearly. I wish to apply for them using my gckey, I hope it is still 10k for me, 4k for hubby and 3k &3k for my son's? Total of 20k? Has the rules changed? Please what do you mean by the remaining fees, I am going for 4years PhD, do you mean I should show fees for the remaining 3years as I have paid for my first year full tuition?

I am obviously the last born here I guess I have to read up. For POF, is 10k Enough for my hubby and 2kids?

Go to beartrack and download your enrollment letter that shows you have started classes. If you can too, a screenshot your class section and send as proof that have started classes online. Are you on our WhatsApp group?

No need of normal statement. The MBS is even more authentic. Do not worry yourself if you don't get an NSE request. Keep hope alive.

Have you submitted your application? When you do, they will send you a Biometric collection letter, instructions on how to book for your biometrics will be on the letter. Then you choose a day that will be convenient for you.

My application is that of faith. So I started the journey last year around June/July 2020. The first University I saw offering my course (Special Education Specialization in Education of the Deaf) was University of British Columbia, and after going through their website and the department, I reached out to supervisors. I found out there are just two supervisors that could supervise my PhD study.

The first told me that my proposal is interesting but she is retiring soon and cannot take a PhD student. The 2nd person told me that she has so much on her hands and cannot take a student at the moment. I persuaded and persuaded but it all reached a dead end.

I started hunting again, I reached out to two supervisors in University of Alberta, one told me she is retiring soon and I am left with one option. Happily she accepted to supervise me and encouraged me to apply.

I later got to know she just start work a month before I reached out to her. Admission portal opened and I applied... And the wait started from October till 16th March 2021. I was admitted. Sadly though, without any funding. I reached out to her about that and she said she will offer me research assistant for the fall term, that the grant she applied for is yet to be approved.

I acted in faith, paid my full Tuition fee (8700cad), showed 2mil in my account, 1mil in my pension account, 4kCad from my supervisor for assistantship and two weeks later the department sent me 5kcad scholarship and I uploaded it through webform.

So In all my POF is not up to 25kCAD. It's just for one year. And I am going for 4year PhD. And I am self sponsored as I couldn't get anyone that will sponsor me. So I was really really scared but I trusted My God Jehovah.

14) M.ED Marksheet (1st class) my transcript and certificate were not out as at that time.

In between I ordered 4gcms note,1st and 2nd came with Review Required. 3rd came with Recommend Interview. I am yet to receive the 4th.

Flaws of my application:
I am leaving my twin boys 2years and I just partially mentioned that my mother inlaw will take care of them while I am away. I didn't submit my husband employment letter or bank account. Funds seems not enough. I had lump sums which I explained as company's business money. No landed documents submitted.

Jehovah perfected my application. I trusted in him with all my heart. I saw his hands all through this process. This is my first application. I also applied to only one school.

I am really grateful to you all for this platform. Thanks guys.

How I sent my Passport to Abuja.

I did my Biometrics in Lagos but I sent my passport to Abuja,
So I had to pay a transmission fee of NGN 8,920 to this account
CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT (a/c no 0065165839) sterling bank.

I bought a fresh brown envelope and added the following documents, so follow:

- Your International Passport itself (That your passport !!)

- Print only 1 copy of the transmission fee payment receipt and put in your envelope

- 2 copies of your passport data page (I printed it in colored copy)

- Those stapled papers that was given to you after the completion of your Biometrics (put them as it is [original copy] not the photocopy)

- The PPR letter (1 copy)

- 1 copy of the Consent form (I filled and signed the second page only) . Download the consent from here: https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/dominicanrepublic/pdf/Consent-Form-TTS-English.pdf


- A plain sheet of paper where you can write your address and phone number (this is not really needed though, but I added it)
NOTE: I paid for 2 ways Courier at DHL and insured it to and fro

2 courier means: As I am sending my passport to Abuja, I want Abuja to send back my STAMPED passport to the address I stated on the Courier.
