I was advised by a consultant paed @ BMH in PH not to use piccan for baby. She said the long term effect is terrible for baby.

@pretty_jay, i use cotton wool in warm water with very very little salt. The salt is almost unnoticeable.

Arebey: My baby is 3 weeks and one of her nip*le is hard(something like tumor) pls what can i use for her.

my daughter had something similar too wjen i had her; i could feel a little lump in her breast. my peadiatrician told me that some babies continue some development in their nipples after birth that it was nothing to worry about that it would go off. i did not even notice whn the thing went off, i just saw it was gone. to allay your fears, take her to ur paed.

@celyt, do not use any drug for baby for teething. if he is hot, use paracetamol, else take him to the clinic. make baby's environment clean, make sure he does not put dirty things in his mouth. these are things that can give him diarrhoea. if he gets very sick, it is possible it is something other than teething.
Paed will tell u that teething is not supposed to make a baby ill.
For the itching enamel, give him a teether to chew on.

lullabi: happy sunday all, my baby justt recovered from malaria and jedi jedi-- lost so much weight and had green poo for two weeks, no appetite, night fever. hospitals recommended all kinds of anti-biotics which didnt work until a midwife told me to use microstatin and flagyl, she got better in 2 days. thank God oooo. i cried alot becos i didnt even have the time to really be with her due to work. no be small thing to take care of babies o

I had episiotomy performed for my 2 pregnancies. The 1st was painful but the 2nd was almost painless and healed quite fast I couldnt believe it. i think it depends on the person performing the procedure. i also think 9ja hospitals perform the procedure even when there is no need for it cos my 2nd baby was 3.1kg as against the first which was 3.5kg and they still tore me.
the annoying thing is they wont even let u know b4 cutting.

Hi All,

has anyone used enfamil premium infant formula for baby?
someone introduce me to use for my baby(6mths+). The one the person wants to sell to me has 6packs in a carton. Inside each pack, there is a container for refill and there are 3 sachets in the pack.
The carton is sold for #15k, which means each pack is #2500. Each pack then has 3sachets which i translate to be approx #840.
I find it too cheap considering the prices of other similar infant formula.
I have already bought it but I want any1 with a similar xperience to share wt me.
Could I have bought a fake one?

my daughter also exhibited that xter. she would have finished wetting her panties and then come to me to tell me she wants to wee. I just kept on encouraging her and when i put her to the potty, i sit with her right there. attimes those LOs don't want to be alone.
with time they'll be perfect.

I gv birth to a boy may 26.
I hd gone to d offc on fri,25th bt during work,I was ving regular contractns so I dcyded 2go2 d hospital aft work. By d tym I got thr nd was checkd in,midwife said I was 6cm going 2 7cm.
Labor was painful naturally bt was worth it in d end.@ abt 12am,baby came out though I had to endure an episiotomy.
