PoliticsRe: OPC Leader, Dr. Fredrick Fasehun, Threatens Reprisal Attacks by swezenberg(m): 12:48pm On Apr 23, 2011
The south has not seen enough killings yet. It is until the northerners wipe out the entire Southerners there that you will all know that there is already a warfare. The North is already at war with the South. Whether you are South East South West or South south, they are ready to wipe you out. My solution: Please all those that know Jonathan should let him know he needs to move all southern youth corp members out of that violent zone if he refuses to yield then pls start telling your brothers or sisters to start leaving now.Discharge cert is just a paper. Life is more precious.

(2) We need to start letting the Northerners know that we are already enemies let us severe all relationship with these barbarians. For those that are still preaching peace it is because you have not lost a sister or brother to these animals. OPC, MASSOB and MEND should now know where to channel their arsenals. We need to act now. Igbos Yoruba, Ijaw should be ready to fight these people after all we are more intelligent than they are.

I used to preach peace but I have discovered keeping quiet will send us into extinction. I can no longer laugh with a Northerner again after this incident. The death of those corp members on facebook will make you shed tears

With this result GEJ should now see that Nigeria is no longer the Nigeria of the 80's 90's. If he fails to give us what we want we won't mind replacing him with Basket mouth. So he needs to wake up. Nigerians have woken up, although there are still some sleepy heads out there. GEJ has been saddled with the responsibility, he needs to know those he will dine with. Although I did not support his party but I was never against his personalty I congratulate him once again. You win some and lose some.
PoliticsRe: Governors Of 19 Nigerian States Under Buhari - Most Are Millionaires Now. by swezenberg(m): 10:24am On Mar 27, 2011
jumobi1:
What a shame. This election is like being between the devil and the deep blue sea. How come a country of 150mil can't put up a good candidate that people will support? Buhari seems better than GEJ but what did he do when he had his chance in the 80s? He might be anti-corruption but that would not solve Nigerias problem. We need an economic and politically strong President. Buhari is just a strict guy. Far from the answer,
Contrary to popular belief, I doubt he isn't a little corrupt too

I'm amazed at the rate GEJ is losing his popularity. His best campaign strategy was to be the best president Nigerians have seen in 20year. He chose to please his PDP family who made his candidacy possible. I disappointed because I thought GeJ was it.

With that said, If I could vote, I'll vote for Buhari hoping he surrounds himself with a solid team.
Can't wait for Fashola to run. Imagine Fashola and an Iweala team? But that Tinubu guy na wahala
Jumobi 1

You've said it all. That is just the case. It is truly between the devil and deep blue sea but when we can not present a credible candidate we need to consider the root of what brought us into this mess, which to me is corruption. I'll prefer BB collabo because of their anti corruption crusade and what Buhari did in the past but that is not to say he Buhari is a saint. For Jonathan he lost my vote the moment he turned his eyes away from the Jos crisis to chase his political ambition. He's the grand commander of the Federal republic. He has all the arsenals to prevent the carnage but he chose his ambition instead. There were many flaws that followed after this which this forum would not permit me to talk about. I hope he apologies and reconsiders his ways.

CelebritiesRe: Uche Jombo -’yoruba Speaking Actors Do Not Respect Us. by swezenberg(m): 11:20pm On Feb 23, 2011
Igbos have started here again. Now I can conclude that inferiority complex is really the problem of this tribe. Where ever they go all they do is to accuse others of this and that and they are the least of the three tribes. The phrase WAZOBIA is enough to pass the message across. Why can't this inferior tribe get this into their thick skull. How can Pete Edochie even compare himself with Olu Jacobs who started his acting from US. I used to watch his movies when I was a kid. One of the inferior Ibo or igbo boy had to type boldly just to demonstrate his inferiority when ever he needed to pass a message across. Yorubas are light years ahead of you and you are busy here working on Nollywood. Nollywood ko Nolly forest ni. Anofia!

PoliticsRe: Imo Assembly Rejects Atiku by swezenberg(m): 2:43pm On Dec 20, 2010
The law makers shouldn't have made their intentions known. Politics require u to be as wise as the serpent. The Yorubas will not tell u they will not vote for u but what they will do is in their mind. They did this to their own son OBJ who even lost his own ward. In politics you don't voice out your plans but you let the polls do it. Atiku now knows where he needs to start working from. The east needs to do more to beat the politics of the north

What a lovely way to end the week. A lovely weekend to all Nairaland and shame to all lovers of bad governance. Southwest is back on track. Oyinlola needs to pay dearly for the souls of those murdered in that election. Those who fought endlessly to see that their votes were counted but were murdered in cold blood. May Oyinlola and his family never find peace.

@Mobo,

Are you from a broken home? If your mum had done something terrible to your dad that does not mean you should come and take it out on all women. Now that they are married and your post is not getting any sympathy from nairanders why not come to my 500kva transformer or get Gamallin 20 from the nearest store.

PoliticsRe: Awolowo Had No Equal by swezenberg(m): 10:18pm On Jun 09, 2010
tk babe,

Those ibo boys are intimidated by your sound vocabulary. You can imagine the one that is name sound like slowpoke, "didirin" in Yoruba trying to bring some funny words he had three sleepless nights on, just to prove that an ibo boy attended school.

Well Kanu had once said if they could be "deterimeened" they would be on top of their game.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo Had No Equal by swezenberg(m): 10:10pm On Jun 09, 2010
afam4eva ,

In terms of development, he leads in that regard but when it comes to fostering national united, he failed woefully.

So an Ibo boy can post this after all the tongue-lashing like a dog salivating. Na wa for ibos on this thread o. May be I need to lend them some brain.

PoliticsRe: Awolowo Had No Equal by swezenberg(m): 6:54pm On Jun 06, 2010
Diya failed us and we turned our back at him because we detest wickedness. In the east criminals are celebrated as long as they bring money home. To make an igbo man lose his birth right give him some pennies and he will not only sell his birth right but his entire family as well. Poverty has driven them all to lagos, ibadan and Ogun.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo Had No Equal by swezenberg(m): 6:47pm On Jun 06, 2010
Only bastards wander about cities and towns as if they had no parents or home. They wandered in the North, Northerners showed them pepper. We will use the same sense we used for maggot ridden head father, ojukwu to drive them out of the West. Shameless goats. Their leader could not do anything good for them he ran to the west to seek governance yet they are saying our own that treated us well was a tribalist. In Yorubaland an idiot like Zik will be castrated.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo Had No Equal by swezenberg(m): 10:59am On Jun 06, 2010
farcohron has said it all. They will never rule. The fight within themselves is enough to retard them. they can't go forward. Watch the next election and see what they will do to themselves again. They are just bunch of retarded race. you will be wasting your time exchanging words with a race that is light years behind reality.

They were asked to simpy name any Igbo that was more of a nationalist than Awolowo, they could not. They will hide behind computers and be shouting wars. Let them come and fight now. They think in Yoruba land we only fight with matchet. We don't need to brag. let them come and fight.

I think I also need to come up with my new topic

Ojukwu the Bingo!

why should I even start his name with an upper case letter

ojukwu the Bingo

or ojukwu the scooby doo
PoliticsRe: Awolowo Had No Equal by swezenberg(m): 7:57pm On Jun 05, 2010
Katsumoto,

Thumb Up. You have your head in the right place. Yorubas are the one I will blame. They have been too accommodating and liberal. They allow nonsense from some ungrateful set of people. Edos are in the west no wahala, edomas, Tivs calabars. Some losers will now come here out of jealousy and envy criticize other tribes. Why is it only the igbos that come here to criticize all others. How many Yorubas are councillors or chairmen in Igboland. Some idiots even came to Lagos the other day to clamour for Obi or Eze indigbo before they were put in their right place. I don't know how many Obas are in Igboland.

Why would someone join a forum and all he attracts to himself everyday is curses upon curses. Mekussx. You may think you can hide behind one system but I tell you. All these curses reigning on you from one forum to another might affect you in real life oh. You need to change and have a re-think because when you start feeling the heat no one will be able to help you. There is power in some curses. Be warned. Contribute meaningfully and stop heaping fire on your head. Save yourself the ache
PoliticsRe: Babangida Will Not Be President - Abiola Family by swezenberg(m): 9:41am On May 05, 2010
As for who I support. I go for Jonathan. A south Southerner with the right vision. If the South South can continue to produce people like him then the Southwest South East and North should just go and relax and learn from them after all they deserve to rule since the wealth of the nation lies in their soil.
PoliticsRe: Babangida Will Not Be President - Abiola Family by swezenberg(m): 9:36am On May 05, 2010
With the way things are going and this recent support of Igbos for IBB I don't see the Igbos ever ruling this country. IBB will use them like he's known for and dump them. Igbos can continue to fight their verbal Biafra 2 because I do not see the brave ones in this generation that can dare the present military strength of the Nigeria armed forces.

I will not suscribe to you asking him to take you to your parents for the marriage rite. If you do what makes you feel he would not make you feel worse. What I don't understand about ladies is how they don't decipher the kind of men they go out with in a giffy.

These are the clues:

Check out the kind of friends he moves with.
Visit him at home and try to study how liberal is parents are. I mean how they tolerate his excesses
Try to find out his likes and dislikes. Whether he sees nothing wrong in issues that you can not compromise.
Does he always want more at the expense of your comfort or pleasure
Does he consider what God says before taking Drastic decisions.
PoliticsRe: Oyo Pdp Chairman Has Been Assasinated: by swezenberg(m): 12:58pm On Mar 14, 2010
Saying Yorubas are killing themselves every day is pure  nonsense. I just read a caption on Nollywood stars that were assassinate in Benin. Are those Yorubas too. Lets face the fact the country is unstable and the bad leaders from Obasanjo to Ojukwu, Sultan, Babangida are those you should be pointing fingers at. If you ever think these people are there for your interest your fate is not too different from those that are massacred each day.

Wake up from your slumber and lets join hand to fight the enemies of our nation

Visit this site and see how the Nigerian police carried out selective arrest of suspected boko haram members, killing them in the process. This is the same law enforcement unit we are relying on to prosecute those who committed the dastardly act of terror in Jos.

SportsRe: 'Quit Now!' Okocha Urges Kanu by swezenberg(m): 1:15am On Jan 20, 2010
We need to move with the tide. Football has changed. It is not the kind of football played in 2004 and 2006 that is being played now. I don't see the morale Kanu is adding. Fine he has won us all the medals we could ever hope for but he needs to leave honorably. Mandela left honourably, George Weah, the list goes on. I would not want him to leave at a time people will start insulting him. Let him just quit now. If those guys feel the need him as a morale booster then they should start thinking of playing for Yemen. We need serious minded players. The leaders can not be sick and we are here parading sick football team. Soccer is what most Nigerians read nowadays and I don't think we should allow this govt to take that away from us.

Okocha spoke some reasonable words but he shouldn't use that kind of term does he think every body is an unlucky crap like him

I think you should just keep quiet. The Yoruba guy you are insulting even get sense pass you. The two people in questions are Easterners and he's saying you should not insult him (Okocha) and you are reciting tales by moonlight, Abi you still dey talk. Why can't you people remove tribalism from your ill-rotten brains. Go earn some respects as he told you.

Okocha gave that as a piece of advice and I know Kanu will reason in that line. They are both my Heroes any day. Best to have come out of these country

Like i said we all know what need be done but we shy away from it.most threads here are usually derailed by peole like metal-gong,mekusxyz,wilywily who have nothing to offer other than digging up tribal sentiments because thay always blame yoruba for their problems.until we start putting nigeria first before our tribe, then we can think of a one nigeria.

Eyodad and Bluetooth,

I believe we can put an end to the activities of the so-called tribalist on Nairaland by advocating for a ban and ensuring that their threads and post do not gain cheap popularity. We will fight all the enemies of progress. USA had fought them before. When Fasola first started in Lagos and mention a transformation in Oshodi. You needed to come and see how people like Olabukola who even bears a Yoruba name like me said it was never possible. Go and see Oshodi today. The same was said of Ghana. Some said it was never possible to communicate with someone far away except you involve yourself in witchcrafts years ago. I don't think you and I have joined any to talk to someone even on the moon today. Enemies of change will never say anything positive. This is what I have come to realise. That Mekusxy is in soup I will bring him and his kingdom down. I do not care whether you are Yoruba Igbo or Hausa. You must respect others culture and shun tribalism. I detest it with passion

Nigeria has always been backward because of the division already existing among the masses arising from tribal sentiments.our politicians know how to deal with us by creating crisis to divert our attention while they loot the treasury.the other day i think beaf was proposing a development sub-section on NL but where did it end?,we prefer to discuss old issues that bring nothing to us but further tribal distrust and backwardness.the only thing that can make nigeria work is if those tribes canvassing for secession to join hands together to make nigeria work.i dont care if hausa or igbo or ijaw becomes the president but all i wanted is a nation where things work.until we begin to think this way and gather momentum of all the ethnics in nigeria, then we can think of wrestling these hungry politicians out of our democracy forever.

You have just said my mind. This is what we really need and not tribal wars
