That is not even surprising to me anymore. Go to Mississippi Delta in the USA you will see Grand Mother at 35. Yeap I have seen many of those. Partner saw a 25-year-old with 4 kids and believe me when I said she was still looking fine. Part of Delta area is so freaking bad Nigeria is paradise.

Your comment reminds me of several vacancies I've seen in time past. cheesy

Some companies will be looking for a candidate and/or candidates with:
• First Class grade
• Less than 26/27 years old
• 5 years experience
• Professional Certification is an added advantage
• Technical Skills is also another added advantage
Etc...

Damn! grin grin

All these for a fresh University Graduate, bastardized with both internal & external strikes cheesy, suffered various carryovers coupled with anxiety caused by impromptu lectures/tests... grin

Passing out from these hurdles, doesn't mean they can handle the practical aspects of their field cos they've been filled mainly with theories, theories and more theories. 🤦

The Nigerian Education system needs a complete overhaul. kiss

We can't keep repeating the same thing that doesn't work, and expect a fresh & fit outcome. 👌
Long overdue. In 1995 I couldn't get admission into any Polytechnic or Universities in Nigeria despite having a Grade 2 in WAEC. All because I didn't have a good grade in English. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics Engineering with a GPA of 3.35 and a Master degree in Information Technology. After having spent 10 years designing and programming ERP manufacturing with General Motors. Today I work for myself from the comfort of my own house in sunny South Florida writing and designing Cloud Based business applications for Fortune 100 companies. Not too bad for a guy born in IJebu Ode and attended Ebenezer Primary School Oke Ado Ibadan.

LP already has Abia State, this Enugu will make it two.
An Igbo man born in Enugu grew up in Enugu went to school in Enugu can't be a governor in Enugu for what again because his grandfather was from Ebonyi State. Same Ndigbo now laying claims to Lagos State. Until the Ndigbo learn to co-exist among themself nobody can help them. I should have seen this coming when Akwa Ibom next to them voted for PDP, not only that Atiku won the state.

If this LP thing doesn't work out Ndigbo would have tried PDP, APGA. and LP . Maybe it might be time to start looking at the Ndigbo DNA makeup that might the issue. Nothing a little rewiring and some programming tweaks can't fix.

Family › Re: I Have Access To Half Of His Property - Nigerian Woman Brags After Court Wedding by t2luv1: 6:16pm On Mar 22, 2023
Wodu89:
You're uneducated. Allow me educate you, just like serving a spouse divorce doesn't automatically mean it will be granted as it would be subjected to court hearing and a divorce can be turned down. Same way is such a statement detrimental to any advantages this woman may want to lay claim for or on.

Should the court in future see this statement, it will be decided against her interest that any divorce she may seel was with sick intent and she won't get access to a pin.

Go and google how American courts did the same in the case of a woman who felt she and her husband were old and past prime. Hurriedly pushed for divorce served the husband papers declaring the part of his $1 Billion dollar weath she wanted, properties and monthly settlement.

Try gave her nothing, the same way Psquare brothers stvpid wife in us was giving nothing.

Nothing is always the heritage of greedy woman with such intent

I end my comment with this, why should any female including my daughter want to boldly lay claim to half the husband's property just by marriage. It should be by mutual contribution to the development of that wealth, not by association.

Thank you. Alot of people think divorce in a marriage is as simple as walking out the door. That's a Nollywood fallacy

You have access to wealth by contribution not by association
a good lawyer can get this marriage to annul under malicious intent clause of the 4th amendment,

Taking care of the home .
Exactly. In addition, be submissive to her husband. Show me a happy home and I will show you a real woman. Most women nowadays think we men care about a woman's degree or how cute she looks trust me 99% of men don't give a crap about all that. Women to be honest needs some realities check. 2% of black men in America make six figures in money but 99% of women want a man that makes six figures in money. Got news for most women the best shot they have is an average money man between 65 - 85K that is reality right there.

Nobody is talking over anywhere.
By law, if you have lived in a particular region in Nigeria for 10 years and above, you are qualified to contest for any position in that region.
Moreover, APC, PDP, LP, AA, AAC etc are not regional parties. Our tribal/religious and ethnic sentiments made people to assume so.

The earlier we come out of this notion, the better for our country.
Amazingly you will espouse that line of thinking. Lets us face reality. Right now a guy that is a candidate for governor of Enugu state is being accused of not being from the state because his great-grandfather was from Ebonyi State. Mind you he is an Igbo man that has lived in Enugu State all his life. The Igbo people first need to start cleaning their own houses first before lecturing the rest of the states. I am referring to Peter Mbah

Yorubas who make tribal comments to spite the Igbos don't understand that the demographic map of Lagos is changing with speed.

No matter how you look at it LP will win a lot of seats in Lagos house of assembly. The more you are hateful against igbos, it definitely will affect Sanwo-olu's election.

If they tell you that Tinubu will ever lose Lagos, l guess you would have sworn with your mother.
Now I am beginning to understand the dynamics of the politics when it comes to Nigeria. No Yoruba or any other tribal can win an election to any local government in the East but Igbo aspire to win an election to the Lagos house of assembly. Sometimes one set out to poke the bear and when the bear reacted the consequence ain't what you bargained for.

People are not stupid, you think you can play on their intelligence. They know that Tinubu is against this policy, they also known that your candidate Peter Obi-tuary supports the policy.
It's not about party, it's about the best candidate.
Nigerians are maturing their political understandings by knowing who stands for what.
Peter Obi-tuary supports this draconian policy, Tinubu spoke against it and have it known that he will cancel the policy. But you expect the people to vote for your candidate while sees nothing wrong with the policy that's killing them. Keep waiting.
First symptoms of dementia are manifested. So in all your esteemed judgment, Tinubu is the best candidate.
