henryobinna: am getting really confused,
now, I should create a paypal account with my visa card right? Paypal allow you to only have one single source to enter your account number online, instead of having to continuously enter the account number every time you do an online purchase. Moreover nobody can access, or authorize an transaction on your paypal account except you since i assume only you will have account access info. I have been using paypal for more than seven yrs and I like it for online transaction. Just started to use Apple pay for retail transaction both are very convenient for me. I rarely carry cash with me. |

Paypal assure the person you are buying from that the business will get pay, likewise paypal on your behalf is assuring you that you will get whatever you are buying. It is a payment portal. When you have a funding payment source set up within paypal, anything you buy something the fund is automatically deducted from your account for payment. Paypal is not a credit company |

Do you know that if you carry US passport, when coming to Nigeria you still need to have Visa. That is why most naturalized Nigerian in US carry dual passports when visiting Nigeria. |

ARKdiscloser7: I don't really understand it, you Yoruba guys keep claiming that Igbos play hatred and bitterness politics but yet you guys are the most guilty.
The hatred of the Igbos by yorubas can be felt by touch. The Obas statement is just an overwhelming evidence. The attitude of the Lagos landlords against the Igbos is evident.
In fact this is the case of kettle calling pot black. Yes we Igbos have the arrogance attitude but that is our nature and you guys should deal with it but the Yoruba are core tribal bigots. Interesting, The Yoruba hates Igbo so much but you have Igbo communities in Lagos, Oyo, and Ogun states. Can you same the thing when it comes to the Yoruba in SE. The SW is the only part of the country where people fro other regions mix. That is just the fact my brother. |

basty: An average Igbo educated guys are less tribalists unlike their illiterates and educated females, though I don't know where you belong?. But when has Igbo not played second fiddle in the arrangements of things in Nigeria? I have kept saying this. Igbo man needs Yoruba more than Yoruba needs Igbo to rule Nigeria. Yoruba can do without Igbo to clinch Nigerian presidency as happened in Jonathan administration and the failure of Jonathan to honour Yorubas in his government made him failed the second term. Please check my previous posts and you will understand this better. We are all Nigerians let us unite and forge ahead. I will want a Nigeria where Chukwu will not say I am an Igbo and Kayode will say I am a Yoruba but we all say I am a Nigerian. God bless Nigeria. In Johnathan the alliance was there when he won in 2011. Look at the map of where the votes that elected him came from. But the hatred the SE/SS people had for the Yoruba blinded him to reality. He wanted to form an alliance with the Northerners at the expense of the Yoruba s. Just look at the make up of both the executive, and legislative during Jonathan presidency that will tell you all you need to know. He forgot one thing the SE/SS needs the SW in order to rule. In Nigeria politics the SW is the king maker. Which ever region the SW is align with rule. The North will always feel comfortable to be in an alliance with the SW rather than with the SE/SS. What worries me now, is I think the SE/SS will forever be condemned to the wilderness when it comes to Nigeria politics. This can only change until the SE/SS can come to terms with the SW. |

suggyspic: Emenike got married to Juliet in 2008, after five years of marriage, they broke up in 2013. Emenike tried every thing possible to make her(Juliet) stay but her mind was made up. She left the marriage in spite of her father asking her to be patient and stay. Juliet's father told her that she knows the culture that once you are married and the bride price has been paid, she cannot bring any other man to remarry her.
Two years after the breakup Emenike wants the father to refund him the bride price, but the father refuse telling him that he is still his son-in-law till death.
Is this true that in Delta state that bride price cannot be returned?
What other method can Emenike use to collect his bride price, considering the fact that his kindred have made efforts towards the issue.
Can the customary court compel the father to give back the bride price?
N/b. They WEre only married in the traditional way. With depreciation, I think his residual value should be zero. The father in law gave him a brand new car, now he wants to sell the father back a used car for the same price. |

Common! how did he do it?
You are a political symbol sir.. What thesis has your man of the man written, or put forth for him to deserve such an accolade. To answer your question regarding how he did it. He did it the old fashion way, He stole it. With the help of people like you that put someone on a pedestal that doesn't deserve to be there. Look around you. Has the education sector improved one bit in Lagos state since APC had being in control. While Tinubu and people around him are enriching themselves at the people expense , people like you are cheering them on just because the man is of the same tribe. |

belabela: It's not how many states you win but the amount of popular votes and if you win at least 25% in 24 states.
Both Jonathan and Buhari are likely to fulfil the later I.e win 25% in 24 states. So this election will go down to popular votes.
Buhari wining 40% of Ekiti is a massive improvement over 2011. He is likely to score 25% in Rivers and Edo state which is all he needs if he really needs that. The south west and north Central will ultimately determine who will win Wrong Jonathan can not get 25% in 24 states. That is just not in the bag. Going by your assessment that mean Jonathan will get 25% in some 7 northern states. Just tell what states he can pull those numbers. The SW is where the election will be won and lost. If Jonathan is waiting in the South West and the North Central to deliver for him. I got news for you GMB can start writing his acceptance speech. |
Politics › Re: INEC Releases Presidential Results From 10 LGs In Ogun State by t2luv1: 9:25pm On Mar 29, 2015 |
benson81: I did not say anywhere that a candidate with the lesser total votes is the winner.but even if u win majority but don't have 2/3 of the 37 states u cannot be declared winner.so no point for anyone to start celebrating.collation of results is still evolving! I agree though it will be nice that whoever is elected win the plurality as well. Nigeria is republic, and not a democratic system of government, just like the USA. We have what I call a representative government. It happened in the US in 2000, Al Gore won the most popular vote, but lost the electoral college votes, Bush won the Presidency. GEJ can win the most votes but if he doesn't win 25% in 24 states he will lose. That is something you need to pay attention to. GEJ will win the whole SE, and SS by a wide margin. The issue is that 25%. On the other hand GMB is in the driver sit, he can afford to ignore the whole SE, and SS and still win because he has the SW in the bag. I didn't make that up. That is what the numbers are telling me. If there is one thing I know well, that is numbers. This ain't 2011. |
Politics › Re: INEC Releases Presidential Results From 10 LGs In Ogun State by t2luv1: 8:54pm On Mar 29, 2015 |
benson81: no results from any states have been released.so nobody knows he final results for any state.Let us not rely on any online media,But only Inec.it will take another day for us to know the direction of the election. I agree with you Benson, but at least I hope we both can agree that with this election unlike 2011 GEJ started out behind the eight ball when compared with GMB. The odds were just too much stacked against PDP. Buhari has too much of an inside track to winning. The South West holds the key to this election either people like it or not. For GEJ to even have the slightest chance of winning , he has to carry all the five states in the South West, and if thats not bad enough he still has to win 25% of the votes in 3 Northern states. So you tell me how you think he can pull that out. |
